I came in during January looking to get some new glasses. It had been twenty years since I had had a new pair. I spent some time looking around and Tony checked in on me occasionally while he was helping another customer. Afterwards he took the time to really help me choose a pair that not only looked good on me but were actually a bit more bold than I would normally go for. The glasses at this store are not your average set of eye wear. It's a bit more pricey but all of the glasses are extremely high quality and bold. We all know that spell check works when we feel the need to use it. However, deciding not to use spell check, has nothing to do with my education level considering I'm highly educated and certified. Don't allow a response NOT in your favor dictate my level of knowledge or education. Be better, go out of business and obtain customer service training, period. I have really enjoyed my experiences here. The interior is cute and cozy and the people are friendly and welcoming. It's a fun atmosphere that makes me feel immediately at ease. Definitely a more playful environment but also maintains a high level of professionalism and quality customer service. It is not a cold and sterile environment at all. My interactions with everyone have been enjoyable. I never feel pressured or tricked into anything which can sometimes happen in general with sales. There is a level of honesty that I appreciate that encourages loyalty. There are many places that I can go locally but I do drive a little out of my way to go here for my exams because I trust the team here. I trust them with my eye health and also with product recommendations. I read some reviews about the high cost of the designer glasses at the Eye Spot, but for those of you that are worried about cost, this place has a lot of more affordable options that are still very stylish. I paid less than $200 for my frames, lenses, and the special no scratch/glare coatings (my insurance pays around $150 I believe). I also have to say I am so grateful for the help I got from the staff here! They know how to pick out a pair that fits the shape of your face. It's intimidating getting glasses for the first time and not knowing how you look. I am so happy, and I feel like I look even better than before. Thank you guys! I used to love coming here. I had gone for a few years and recently when i called to order contacts they were very expensive. So they called me a few times when the contacts came in and i got back to them and had told them i was going to try and find an online sight or place that was cheaper for contacts. Just for the contacts mind you, so when i called to give them a new insurance card that covered my contacts they told me they no longer wanted my business because I didn't pick up my contacts from the last time and even called to tell you why. Bad buisness on your part. Because I called you back to tell you I couldnt afford your contacts at the time you get rid of a patient? Wow, I will no longer be telling clients of mine to go to you. Since yelp doesnt allow me to respond to the owner, here is the response to what this incredibly rude owner had to say And this comment you responded with is exactly why i wont be telling people to come to you. So because i dont get contacts from you and they ARE cheaper online i cant get my regular exam done? I have NEVER missed an appointment if i ever had to i cancelled and rescheduled with you guys so im not sure what your talking about. I hope other people see your unbelievably rude response and think twice before coming to you. Especially when i called and cancelled the contacts in the first place and you didnt seem to have record of that. So who knows if you even keep the right record of anything. Bad communication between your office staff and or owners is not the clients problem or fault. And over 3 months of phone calls, very untrue like i said i called and talked to a man who you told me was the owner not my fault he didnt relay the message to anyone or make note of it. And im sorry most places would gladly give there customers emergency contacts when they spend the money that people do at their office, and to say thats taking advantage is mind blowing. That will tell people how they run this place its an issue to help a loyal patient out. I could see if I didnt pay my bill or was on a payment plan or could never pay for my contacts but that wasnt the case i paid my bills at your office ALWAYS. Same Day. They told me they would tweak the hinge on my $600 Mykita glasses and in less then one minute they broke the hinge. I walked in wearing the glasses and left with them in three pieces. They were not broke at all just needed a minor adjustment which they said they would be happy to do. I asked what they will do to fix it due to my leaving for a European trip next week and the sales guy and Tony asked me to leave and they got very ugly and threatening. I would not support or trust this establishment. read more

This place is amazing!!! From the moment you walk in the door you are welcomed in by Cozy and Scott, then the decor and ambience does not make you feel you are in an eye glass store, but more of an eye wear boutique. I love unique stuff and because i have to wear glasses, i want them to enhance my look and match my character. Ding, ding, ding!!! The selection is none like I've ever seen anywhere and I have been to many stores and always feel like I gravitate to the same frames because there's not much to choose from. Don't have that issue here, I actually had the opposite, there were several frames I wanted and had to wittle it down to two. :-( Lastly the prices are very reasonable, the frames are of the best quality, the top of the line material is used for your prescription and the service from beginning to end (if it ends, as I am a lifetime customer now) is exceptional! I dont about you, I dont get excited when i have to go eyeglass shopping, but now, thanks to my eyewear shopping experience I look forward to it. I am so glad I finally satisfied my curiosity of checking this place out as, I drive pass it everyday to and from work, it is definitely a gem! I found my EyeSpot! LBVS!!! Thanks guys!!! Over the summer I decided I needed to replace my current glasses. I found this place through Yelp and didn't know what to expect. The customer service I received was superb. They really got to know me and what I liked. Of course I decided to purchase a much more expensive pair I had planned. With the exam, frame and lenses I paid around $700. However I've received more compliments on these glasses than any other I've had. Selection. You will never find an eclectic selection anywhere in the area than this place. They have some very high end selections that are different and very stylish. The also have collections if you aren't wanting to spend a lot. They offer a wide range of glasses to cover price points of all people. Today I stepped on my glasses and bent my frame. I took them in and they helped me instantly with no charge. What impressed me is that not only did they remember me from a few months ago, they remember where I worked and asked me how my job was going. They really did get to know me and it was genuine. Scheduled a normal new glasses event and off handily mentioned some recent headaches and she quickly refocused her plan and put me through a whole new battery of tests including in person proof that I increased my iPhone font size to help relieve eye strain. This is a very unique eye doctor's office, start to finish ~ the first distinction is the welcoming way a new patient is treated on the phone. "So glad you found us! Thanks so much for calling! Can't wait to meet you!" It was utterly refreshing! Secondly, you can go on their website and digitally fill out your health history forms and insurance paperwork ... how convenient! I was able to make a pretty quick appointment, but did request a call if something opened up prior to my appointment ~ honestly, I was completely shocked when Tony actually called me with a sooner appointment ~ Now, at this point I haven't even been to the office, but I'm already feel really good with my choice, which was, by the way, completely based on the Yelp reviews I had read. Show up for my appointment and walk into the coolest, most modern eye glass shop ever. I didn't even know a place like this could exist! They have the most beautiful, unique, stunning eye glass frames you will ever see ~ in a wide spanned price range! So glad I didn't have to monkey around with paperwork so I could get to the good stuff right away! Super professional Doctor. Unfortunately, she did find some issues with my left eye, and I went home and told my husband, "WELL, WHATEVER HAPPENS, I KNOW I'M IN GOOD HANDS NOW!" Took my seven year old son for checkup when I picked up my new glasses. The bedside manner Dr. showed to my son was incredible ~ she even convinced him getting his eyes dilated would be cool, and he did like a champ! Based on the online reviews and their web site, declaring "utilizing state-of-the-art equipment", I schedule my annual eye exam. Although the staff was pleasant, they could have been better prepared for my appointment. While Dr. Pikus was thorough in her exam, I was disappointed that the equipment was not state-of-the-art as advertised. I will continue my search. read more

They carry frames from independent eyewear companies and are not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Still my glasses didn't end up costing much more than I would have paid at LensCrafters. Great experience! My 6 year old daughter and I went for eye exams and Dr. Pikus was wonderful and patient. You can tell she's very passionate about and good at what she does. She showed genuine concern when I explained the issues I was having with my vision and performed very thorough testing. She was gentle and patient with my daughter and answered all of our questions. The opticians were also very helpful when it came to explaining our insurance and finding glasses. My daughter was very excited with her glasses. Everyone, including the doctor, participated in helping us find glasses. They were understanding and not pushy at all.
