I have always always always had the hardest time finding someone to do my brows and NOT RUIN them. I started by waxing and then went into the threading world. But, still every time I would go and get my brows done I was dissatisfied and would have to grow them out again for months before I would feel okay enough to try again. BUT THEN!! I LOVE THIS PLACE! I found Mehak after searching yelp for eyebrow threading in the area and no one has touched my eyebrows since she first did them. She is THAT good. The weekends are very busy, as is customary for a threading salon, but Mehak and DJ work very hard to ensure you don't have to wait very long. I typically get my whole face threaded (thanks a lot, genetics), and since it takes around a half an hour for that service I usually try to schedule an appointment with Mehak, which I can almost always do like an hour ahead of when I want to come in. She's thorough, always making sure so catch every stray hair and shaping my eyebrows to perfection. For those who need a catch to feel that a review is honest, I will say that one time in nearly three years of threading, she did take my eyebrows a bit too thin. But other than that one time, everything has been lovely. My sister and best friend, who both live in Northern California, always beg me to take them to Mehak whenever they are in town, because no one does brows like The Eyebrow Gallery. Found this place via Yelp. Yes, I rely on local business reviews on Yelp to help guide me in the right direction. I walked into the Eyebrow Gallery today to get my eyebrows done. I was greeted by a friendly girl at front. She was with another customer and answering the phones(she was solo in the place). She handled everything professionally and was very courteous. She listened to me and cleaned up my brows very nice. She also massaged lotion on them and I felt this was a nice touch. She walked me over after and took payment, also giving me a punch card(after 10th visit, brows are free) Her name is Deejay and she did an excellent job. DJ was great and explained that if it's done with a softer hand it may not hurt. So we went with the threading and it was fantastic! I just got my eyebrows done here bc their other location in La Verne shut down. My eyebrows are nice BUT she didn't thread the middle and there are some hairs that definitely need to be plucked. Also, She is threading your eyebrows and using her mouth to hold the thread as threading usually goes so I definitely would love to see an alternative technique other than the mouth to hold the thread. I understand I get it. Can see another technique being used but with same high quality results???? Please consider!! read more

Been here before and one eyebrow was thinner than the other. Went back today, said I wanted it cleaned up and rounded out. Once again I was let down! One eyebrow is now shorter than the other and their pointed than rounded. As she was finishing the second brow, her kid came out crying and it seemed like she rushed to finish even more since her kid came out. I'm all about kids but don't rush your customers to tend to your kid. My brows are on fire (burning), one is now shorter and thinner than the other, and I have brow hair all up in my eyes. She didn't even "dust" off the hairs as most threading places would. I'm so bummed, thinking this would be a great place to go since it's closer to home Now I'll be making that effort to drive out to Norwalk and go back to Brenda's! read more

Mehak is great at what she does. I go here for threading, waxing & have had facials here as well. All prices are reasonable (threading $6.99, waxing $35, facial $55). You can get a free threading if you fill up your stamp card with every visit. Her salon is clean & you can always expect friendly service. The first time I had a facial I was scheduled for 1hr but Mehak went a bit over at no extra charge. She even massaged my feet and lower legs! My face was so smooth for weeks after. She has facial deals for $30 every now and then, so look out for those. If I have some time throughout the day to stop by, I just text her for any openings and she fits me in. It's located in the back corner of the plaza where sizzler is, directly across the street from in & out. I had a hard time finding it the first time I went. Went in for the first time to get my eyebrows done after not having them touched in over 9 months. I have anxiety so sitting still through the pain of threading is hard for me but the gal doing my eyebrows was patient with me through my squirming. I got the eyebrow tinting and was told it could last up to 2 weeks depending on how much I washed my wash face or contact with water on my eyebrows but it only last about a week :( but it's ok my eyebrows looked good!!! read more

First off let me say the people were very nice ! But I went in to get a Henna on my shoulder it was beautiful ! For the THREE days it lasted me ! By the 4th day of having my henna it was completely 100% gone ! I dont know what went wrong i didn't take a shower till the next day like the lady said I also avioded wearing clothes that would rubb it but even with that it was completely gone ! 1 more thing , this 3 day lasted henna costed me $25! Mehak was absolutely sweet. I went in yesterday and got my eyebrows shaped and tinted. What I thought looked nice when I left wasn't really the case. I got home and once the swelling from the threading went down the eyebrows are not the same shape, they're a little thin, one is shorter, and the tinting isn't done in the same shape brow if that makes sense. I tried to convince myself i liked them but they're so thin theyreI really wanted to love this place because she was so nice but I think I'll stick to a local spot or back to plucking my own brows. The owner is now saying we had a discussion about my desired shape but that never happened. She never asked what shape I wanted for my brows. She just said ok I'm going to shape them. We never discussed that my eyebrows were uneven either. She might have thought it though. I know that my brows can be difficult to work with but I've been to other threading places in the past and they just clean them up and shape them to still be FULL. I appreciate her efforts to make things right though. read more
