This gym was recommended to me by a good friend. I have been going there about 8 months twice a week for 30 minutes one on one with a personal trainer. The Facilities personal trainers all have credentials. See their web site. I have had a gym membership for years and keep telling myself I will go more do more but of course did not. The facility will give you 2 free hours to try it out. After surviving the first free hour I took the second free one at 30 minutes. Fred the owner will put you on a high tech machine when you start that measures your weight, bmi, and exactly how much muscle and fat you have in every part of your body. This is really useful as you can then say in 6 months or a year do this again and see your progress. They have machines and techniques there you will never see in a other gym. They also have helped me overcome pain I was having in my neck and shoulders that PT, and cortisone injections could not cure. I am down 15 pounds (15 more to go) and way stronger than when I started. I almost never miss a workout. I walk or ride my bike a couple of days a week now as well. This is not the least expensive way to go for sure, but if you serious about getting back into shape, have tried and failed at other methods, or have pain or issues other methods have not cured this is the place for you. I highly recommend this gym!! Having a personal trainer tailor your workouts to your own body & goals is the key to seeing results. Justin is doing a fantastic job helping me get ready for my annual ski trip - I feel so much more prepared than I did this time last year. My favorite gym in the Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach Area. No BS, Very clean and the owners are professional and very friendly. This is a private gym that you must use a personal trainer. Don't worry this equals results. Funny thing is the trainers are so much superior than what you'd find at super sized gyms like LA Fitness or 24 Hour Fitness. At about the same price or less. I've been to many gyms in the area and none compare. This isn't the type of gym you drop into to do 30 minutes on the elliptical or tread mill. You work hard for 60 minutes with your trainer and get the hell out. All the trainers seem to be professional but I can only speak to Josh Wortman and Vivian Junger. If you're looking for a great 1, 2 punch these are the trainers for you. Either one is great on their own but you can alternate trainers to get the workout confusion your body responds to the most. They're both very knowledgeable and motivating. I highly recommend either of these two. One last thing, the trainers use a proprietary workout called "DVNS". DVNS is a workout system that has proven to give the best result over the shortest length of time. This is not just a gimmick. If you are looking for a clean gym with trainers who know what they are doing and not interested in a "scene" ... look no further. Real results from good, honest people! read more

I started training at The Facility 2 1/2 years ago in anticipation of my sons wedding. I had prior knowledge of exercise science from many years ago so I did my research of local gyms before I decided to check out the Facility. The knowledge of the training staff is superior to any other gym. I know the importance of a changing routine for results,personal challenge,and enjoyment and my trainer Austin has delivered on all aspects. I now weigh the same as I did at age 21 which is amazing for a 59 year old! My heart rate is in the excellent range for my age and my body fat percentage is down significantly. My husband and I had worked out with a trainer at another gym for many years. We thought he was great....until we left him and went to The Facility!! We are amazed at the training and the results we are now experiencing. Our trainer, Narisa, is incredible!! Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about her profession, but she is a great motivator, she makes our workouts "fun", and they are never repetitive. We also worked out with a couple of the other trainers a few times when she was unavailable (Christian & Donny), and they, too, were excellent. They also have trainers who are physical therapists and those that specialize in stretching. My husband is not at all flexible as he had a hip replacement some time ago. Takia has helped him tremendously! The people are great, the gym is always clean and there is an extensive collection of equipment! For the past few years my exercise regimen consisted of attending studio and gym classes such as cycling, body pump and pilates. I'm a member of 24 hour fitness and have belonged to one gym or another for 20+ years. In other words, I'm no stranger to a gym! However, I had never used a personal trainer. Since reaching age 40, I started having issues with my knee which has osteoarthritis from old injuries. I needed physical therapy last year when the stiffness and pain reached new levels. I realized some of the things I was doing for exercise were actually aggravating my condition. I wanted to find a gym where the staff are well trained to work with injuries and mobility restrictions. Not just a trainer who took an online certification course, but someone with an exercise & physiology or physical therapy background. After some research, I found the Facility for Personal Training. I took advantage of their complimentary trial workouts to get a feel for the place. Fred, the owner explained their approach and got to know me and my goals. He then paired me up with my trainer, Daniela Ortega, who is a perfect match for my personality and current level of fitness and is available to see me in the evenings, since I work full-time. You choose a schedule that works with your budget. Fred makes sure to ask about this so there are no misunderstandings. I feel the quality of the facility and the trainers is worth it, it's an investment for my good health. It's great to have someone checking your form at all times, setting up and cleaning the machines and taking you to that next level. The facility is always very clean and each time I visit I see one of the owners, either Fred, his wife or his daughter, so there is a lot of accountability. All the staff are friendly to clients and with each other. There's just a good vibe in the place. I hope to be a member for a long time as I work toward reaching my fitness and mobility goals. My injuries are no longer an issue for me and i can finally work around it. Will never go back to this place--have been training here for 2 years and just was told that I had to get dressed so they could send a man into the women's locker room to shower b/c there was a line. What? I was told I could only spend 15 minutes in the WOMEN'S locker room so that men could get ready in there! I know I am a woman so it takes me longer than a man to get ready but I was only in there for 20 minutes before I was told to get dressed. I was then yelled at by the male client waiting in the lounge that I was selfish for talking on the phone while being in the woman's locker room. I am sorry--I am a VERY busy person so when I am putting my makeup on in the WOMEN'S locker room at the gym (and at home too fro that matter) I do make phone calls b/c it's one of the few times during the day I can do so--multi-tasking makes me selfish? 20 minutes in the women's locker room makes me selfish!? I closed the door so as to not interrupt the upset guy in the lounge and continued to get ready. They then sent my trainer upstairs to ask me to leave and told me I am not allowed to train there anymore. Ummm OK fine. I don't NEED to train there. There are a million other gyms in the area--I don't need the condescension, nasty other clients personally attacking me, and inappropriate management sending men into the women's locker room to get ready because they weren't smart enough to put more than 1 shower in each locker room. I have never been treated so poorly by people in my life. I WAS asked to leave for a male-of course you guys at The Facility wouldn't admit that. He was standing outside the women's locker room yelling at me. The guy even told me (when he was yelling at me) that you all tell them to go in there so the men can use both locker rooms so there isn't a wait in the men's. There was no woman standing outside--the only other woman training in the gym at the same time as me today never showers. If there were a woman waiting, she would have just come into the women's locker room. Not one person walked in until I was told I had to get dressed. Why would I need to get dressed for another woman to walk in? That doesn't even make sense. I had a towel on and no one has ever come into the locker room to check to see if it's ok--the girls just walk in--as they should. I share the locker room with other women regularly and they simply come in and sit in the locker room to wait if needed. I have done it myself. I do not take an hour to get ready and am never there for more than 30-40 minutes max. I don't have time to spend an hour getting ready. read more

I really hate working out but this place is super cool. I love the low lighting and feng shui of the gym. It is never too hot or cold and the trainers clean all the equipment after every use! Dave my trainer is the coolest there. He is super busy so if you are lucky enough to get him he will work you out so hard you will be so happy to leave when your session is over. I feel so strong now and LOVE my workouts. My body is not in great shape but Im getting there. Fred the owner is always there to make sure everyone is happy. I am a 55 year old attorney who over the past few years gained a lot of weight and became completely out of shape. I was struggling and could not find the answers to weight loss and a healthier lifestyle change that I knew I needed. Then I found The Facility. I joined in June,2019 and was assigned my trainer Takiyah (T). In the first two weeks T asked me a lot of questions about my diet and lifestyle and about any past/present injuries. After 2 weeks T adjusted my diet and gave me a percentage of macros to follow ... a much more balanced diet than what I had been doing ... (high protein/low carb). I train with T twice a week. She is patient and explains every exercise and movement and demonstrates everything as often as I need to ensure I have proper form. I have a knee injury which made me nervous to train ... but T always is conscious of this and makes any adjustments I need to feel comfortable. In the 4 weeks I have been following T's recommendations I have lost 12 pounds of body fat. I used to think "no pain no gain" but with T I just have no pain and great results and a formula for a healthy lifestyle. I highly recommend The Facility. read more

In a past life, I was trained by the best luminaries of the industry. After injuries, twins, and just neglect, I was in a downward spiral. It was very hard for me to take the first steps to getting back in shape. I am very particular. When I found the facility, where every trainer is thoroughly trained and qualified, I couldn't believe it: This is not your lifetime fitness, or other fitness club. There is no other like this in the area. This is serious. You have 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, even 80 year-olds training next to olympic hopefuls, and competitors. Every person gets one on one, carefully planned sessions. I went from completely out of shape, chronic pain, and allergies, to a swimmer/athlete body with no pain in just two months. I am more nimble. I am more energetic. I sleep better. I am healthier. I am so happy that I did my research and found this place. It is a warm, friendly, amazing place where everyone is welcomed. I started going to the Facility three times a week since April 2015 and now lost 12 pounds. Josh has been training me since early March 2016. For years, I've been seeking a gym where I could find a Personal Trainer who truly understood my physical limitations (two hip replacements and torn rotator cuffs). Then one day I saw an ad for The Facility for Personal Training whose sole purpose was helping people over 40 achieve what they never believed they could ever achieve. It was wonderful to see a gym with specialized equipment and personal trainers who are required to have specialized training and experience with my demographic before they even see a client. This is one place that is a significant notch above the meat market gyms most people utilize. From the first meeting with the owner, Fred Steinberg through my initial workouts with my PT Austen, I've been made to feel like I'm the only one there. It's almost like being at Cheers where everyone knows your name. More importantly, in all my years of gym memberships, I've never had workouts tailored to my needs and, although truly exhausting, I don't feel the pain I would ordinarily feel as Austen assures that the workouts avoid impacting my joints. I've been training at the facility for about 15 months. I can't say enough about this gym. From top to bottom, there is no place like it. The staff is exceptional and friendly. I came from another personal gym in Boca and there is no comparison. The ownership is truly interested in my health and changes my training routine depending upon my personal needs. I now train 4 days a week (up from the 2 days a week when I first started). The trainers are knowledgable and push me to the limit. The facility has changed the way I view my physical health. I just recently relocated to the Delray Beach/Boca Raton area and was in need of a work facility or gym after months of being inactive. After reading the reviews and going to their web-site I decided to give it a try. I am not accustomed to getting up and going to a gym or having a personal trainer so this was a new venture for me. After 2 1/2 weeks I cannot put into words what I have gained from the classes and the staff in this short period of time. Narisa is my trainer and she has really impacted me and the change in my body. I have had on-going back issues and she has made me stronger in a safe way. Let me start off by saying that I have been to MANY gyms across the country, and none of them compare. The Facility is not a place for people who just want to work out. The Facility is a place for people who want to TRAIN. I didn't really know there was a difference until my first workout. My trainer is intelligent, intense, and personable. All of the trainers have their bachelors or masters degrees in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, etc. The girls at the front desk know me by name, and are always friendly when I arrive. The atmosphere of the place is just terrific. They have treadmills that do not have motors in them! They are self propelled and the equipment is something I have never seen before. They have equipment that moves with your body. Let me say that again. The machines move with you! For me, as a former athlete with a bad shoulder and knee, the machines ability to stop me from hyper extending is crucial. I love this place and I would recommend it to anyone trying to change their body, this place is incredible. Oh and the cleanliness of the place is just immaculate. It is spotless. read more

I've been going to The Facility and training with David H. for the past 2 months and I can't say enough good things. 1st, the actual Facility itself; it's super clean, which means a lot to me. The equipment is in great condition and the staff has been great to me. Next, my trainer there, David Hrdlicka; he's a really great guy who knows his stuff and is a pleasure to work with. I am truly amazed how far he has gotten me to in just these first couple of months, especially since I've dealt with some injuries. I would never be doing even half of what I've been able to accomplish without his guidance and encouragement, and I have complete faith in his knowledge to work with the injuries to help them heal and improve without losing the gains in my overall training.
