My first thought when we walked in was that the restaurant must be busy all the time, and the tips good, because they had several servers whizzing around taking care of their customers. Good beer and drinks are a given (several house brews), but the food was amazing. We ordered fried green tomatoes (pimento cheese on top) and roasted brussel sprouts, so we could nibble as we drank. Then for dinner: the prime rib au jus sandwich, the Reuben, the Patty Melt, and the Cletus (Southern through and through). Our Toddler ordered the baked Mac N Cheese (good sized serving and looked delicious--lots of cheese and perfectly browned--and a side of fruit). Everyone was happy!

I had a couple of hours to kill before a tattoo appointment across the street (reviewed separately)…read moreso I stopped here for lunch. It was very busy around 12:30 mid-day, but I was seated immediately. There is downstairs and an upstairs that looks over the first floor. They have a huge menu. Lots of pub fare. Beer cheese, nachos, various pizzas (tons of combinations, most with lots of meat, and you can create your own). They also have flatbreads (again, several combos, some veggie, some meaty). Entrees include steaks, pork chops, grilled chicken, chicken tenders, salmon, and shrimp tacos. Large selection of sandwiches (turkey, clubs, BLT, reuben, prime rib). And at least 10 different types of burgers. I had the cowboy, made with Monterey Jack, bacon, sautéed onions, mushroom, lettuce, tomato, and pickle). Huge burger (I only ate half). The fries were hot and tasty. The burger arrived medium as I had ordered and the produce seemed fresh. The mushroom and onion flavors were lost somehow, and the burger could have used a little more seasoning, but overall solid for being local to Clarksville. I had a couple of cocktails, some type of margarita with cranberry, and a basic mule. They were fine, but nothing special and nothing I would order again. They have a ton of beers here, and that's what they are known for, so if you're a beer drinker, that's your best bet. They have brunch on the weekends. My server was attentive and kind.

If you love cigars, check this place out…read more If you're new to cigars, this would be a great place to start! In town for the weekend, I stopped by here to pick up some Tennessee Waltz, a Crowned Heads regional release. I met Jason, the owner - he is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and everything is priced fairly. This is not the largest shop I've been in but it's not the smallest either, and they have a better selection than most shops this size - with limited space, they manage to carry a selection that has appropriate options for a noob, but they also have a lot of stuff that will appeal to the seasoned vet. The lower price point cigars that they stock are solid smokes, and at the higher end, they have a nice selection of the really good stuff - this place is a must-visit for Padron fans, and they have a lot of highly-anticipated new stuff that just hit the market in the past 2-3 months. Also, the walk-in humidor is not overly humidified like it unfortunately is in many shops - so you can buy a smoke and it will burn well the same day, without needing a few days of rest to acclimate. As a fairly experienced cigar smoker, I was impressed with the selection - but this would be a good place for the beginner smoker too. Between the selection and the owners' knowledge and helpfulness, they have a really good thing going there - I sincerely wish Jason and his wife the best, and I intend to visit them again next time I'm in the area.

She knew her drinks, made solid recommendations, and everything came out perfect. What really stood out was how she handled the bar even when it got busy -- still fast, still friendly, still making sure everyone was taken care of. You can tell she actually cares about what she's doing and wants people to have a good time. If you get the chance to have Emma as your bartender, you're in good hands. She definitely makes the experience worth coming back for.

I put this location into the GPS and it said 30 minutes of a ride...ok. I have never been to Kentucky or Tennessee before so I was unfamiliar with the roads. Police running radar before I went into Tennessee and two miles into the state one of Tennessee's finest was doing the same thing. I had the cruise set so I was good. The restaurant/pub is located off the main drag. I saw the sign and said...there it is. It's after 10 PM on a school night so I decided to just have a couple and head out. They have a lot of TVs....showing every game that was on. Football, soccer, tennis, baseball.....lots to watch. They had Shiner on tap. Sold, bring me one. The scenery is pretty good in the place. All the girls looked tired. I can understand. The shiner is good and cold. I had another and after a bit headed for the door. I think if you want to watch a game with the fellas this is your place. Next time I'll grab a bite.
