There's something for everyone: a giant pumpkin patch, gorgeous sunflower fields, a fun petting farm, and tons of great food and activities. The sunflower fields were one of my favorite part -- absolutely beautiful and perfect for photos. The petting farm was such a cute touch too (the sheep definitely stole the show). You can tell the students really put their heart into making the whole event feel welcoming and organized. We also stopped by the Farm Store on our way out and stocked up on fresh produce, wine (they grow their own grapes!), and some amazing pumpkin bread.

Attended CCP Pumpkin patch festival this year and had a good experience on the day of my visit…read more Upon entering the main entrance, there were signs for the Pumpkin patch/Corn maze/ Petting zoo/ Sunflower area, and a scheduled list of small business vendors participating in the CCP vegetable garden. Got there when the event first open, crowd was too massive and was able to take some really great pictures in the Pumpkin area. The petting zoo was really fun- Goats and herds of sheep were walking around the petting area awaiting to be fed (really liked the cleaning station near the exit for easy hand washing), animals were really mellow- which created a fun environment for kids. Agreed with some reviews; the entrance fee is a bit pricey, though I did enjoy this festival

Since it is a high school, you must show your IDs at the gate to be given a badge to get onto campus. The museum is closed Sunday-Tuesday. Wednesday -Friday from 11am-5pm, and Saturday from 11am-5pm. Admission Pricing (March 2026): $12 General $9 Youth/Senior $9 Student with ID FREE 4 and under FREE CA teachers, EBT & WIC cardholders This museum is 2 levels. The top is a chronological walk through history and the bottom level is more of a hands-on interactive play area for kids. We spent about an hour at this museum. We had so much fun exploring history. In order we went through the Precambrian, Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic periods. The fossils and skeletons were so fascinating. This would have been such a great spot for a field trip back in grade school. I had a lot of fun exploring history and taking selfies. Highly recommended for those who enjoy dinosaurs, fossils, or history!

It cost $24 for two people to get into the museum. The parking was free, but you do have to check in with the parking guy he'll print you out a pass since it is still a college, but I post some pictures of the museum. It was somewhere nice to go especially in this heat. it's interesting to see the different artifacts and fossils. It's a nice little date day or kid date day but like I say, give it a try and you decide.

They have gardens you can walk thru and an entire educational center. They have a tortoise you can visit and also offer various events through out the year. My kids loved the exercise equipment (lol). Just watch out for dog poop sometimes people don't pick up after their dogs around the grass areas. Lots of picnic benches!

I stumbled upon this excellent veggie stand while shopping for chicken and eggs at Maust's Egg Farm…read moresince they are located on site. The veggies at Ian's stand are grown locally and are excellent quality. I was impressed with the variety and have loved everything I've been cooking! I bought some radishes bc I love to snack on them whole and plain - and they have been just delicious. I also bought a giant carrot and some green summer squash to throw in a soup - but I ended up making the squash as a side dish to go with my roasted chicken. That squash was incredible! Such flavor and so soft - infinitely more flavorful (and huge) than any of the same type I've gotten at the grocery stores.  I've been using the giant carrot and cucumber I got in salads and they're also so flavorful and delicious. I used the onion and garlic in my roast chicken and made mashed potatoes with some yellow potatoes from Ians - all fantastic. I'm blown away by just how much more intense the flavors are as opposed to veggies from Ralphs I usually get. The staff were so friendly and their prices were exceptionally reasonable - I paid $10 for my whole haul so I'll definitely be stocking up on veggies from here anytime I'm making a chicken run at Maust's farm lol! Ian's farm stand is located right next to the petting zoo on Maust's property and is easy to find. There's plenty of parking on site as well - it's unpaved but in excellent condition so no issues there. Highly recommend veggies from Ian's stand!

There isn't a real parking lot, but there are enough spots to park on the gravel along the road. Upon arriving, is their market set up with fresh fruits and vegetables you can purchase. I didn't pay too much attention on the price, but there seems to be a good variety to choose from. Strawberry picking is $15 per person/clamshell. They accept, cash, Venmo, and credit cards with a slight processing fee. There's no time limit so we were able to peruse the area and be very picky with our decision making. I would advise wearing close-toe shoes since some areas are muddy or have squished strawberries along the way. Overall, a fun, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. Will come back again. Afterwards, stopped by Billy's Egg Farm 3 miles down the street.
