Unfortunately, you can't always get eggs because people swoop in and grab them fast, and the prices are pretty high. As much as I love The Ecology Center, eggs there are about $15 for 12. At this farm, you can get 30 eggs that are fed sea kelp and high-quality ingredients for $17.50, which is honestly a bargain. I bought some eggs and local honey. The cons I felt the need to share were mainly the customer service and the cleanliness of the egg shells. Out of the 24 eggs I bought, 20 of them had some chicken poop on them that I ended up cleaning at home. It looks like this place has an egg washing station but I'm not sure if they wash all the eggs thoroughly. The fruit stand outside was also overpriced and the lady overseeing was a bit rude. There's another egg ranch right across the street called Billy's Egg Farm that has cleaner eggs and the customer service is great! It's worth checking out.

I can't say enough good things about my own experience here, as well as what I've witnessed in the youth who ride and train at the ranch. The training is hands-on, respectful, and rooted in real horsemanship--not shortcuts or quick fixes. It builds a strong foundation and truly teaches you how to work with the horse. I've gained so much from this place. I've seen huge growth in myself, not just in my riding, but in confidence, discipline, and overall mindset. This ranch is something special--and I'm so grateful to be a part of it. So if you're looking to take lessons or board your horse - this is definitely the place!

She's also helped me with training my horses and helped me with tips along the way to better my horses. It's a great facility if you'd like to board your horses and you love the "ranch" aesthetic like we do! She does have horses here that she's rescued and were well trained to be used for horsemanship/riding lessons and my girls are next in line to start their training with her. Alright so there's parking at the top and valet (free but tip optional). we had a reservation and got seated promptly. Our hostess was really polite. It seemed to be pretty busy. My husband had told them it was our anniversary so when we sat down at our booth there was a card from the restaurant, super thoughtful!! Jennifer was our waitress and she was extraordinary. Super welcoming, kind, and patient as she allowed us to take our time with our drinks. We each got the filet mignon which comes with potatoes. The restaurant gives complimentary creamed corn which we devoured. We also got an additional side of bone marrow Mac and cheese. Then we got a puff pastry dessert. My taste buds were dancing all night. Everything was prepared nicely; cooked and seasoned to perfection. It was a looot of food so I would say you would be fine with less. But hey, live a little. It's a nice restaurant located at the top of the hill. Probably has nice views, I will say we didn't see that where we were seated but we got great seating. This place is a hidden gem in the area with farm to table food.

I came here Saturday morning around 9:00am and there weren't that many people. Lots of parking spots available. Since I'm stocking up, I decided to get a box of the jumbo eggs $75 (100 eggs). I was told by the girl working here that some of the jumbo eggs could be double yolk as I asked about double yolk. We'll see about that. They had a fridge section for smaller quantity. I got the box straight from the girl at the counter. I'll update my review once I tried the eggs but am very happy with the easy process and the friendly service. They had a few girls working in the front ready to assist. Update: so we tried the eggs and thought it was good as it's fresh eggs but had better. Also found a baby size egg which was a bit disappointed that they don't actually check the eggs before packaging. Due to this issue, I'm downgrading to 3.5 stars. Service was great but am not sure I'd be back for 2nds. There was another place with high reviews. I'd check that place out for comparison and maybe give this place another try. "Maybe"

The 99 Ranch closest to my house are both in Arcadia, with the newest one at the Santa Anita mall, but good luck with ever finding a parking. Overall, they offer very good pricing on their items. They always offer things on sale, which is a huge plus. However, I do feel 99 Ranch in Chino Hills isn't as clean and organized as their other locations or their competitors such as 168. They don't really offer much customer service here, especially if you don't speak Mandarin. I have witnessed customers struggling to get help from the non-English speaking Staff. The overall, I rate 99 Ranch Market in Chino Hills a 6/10.

The produce is decent, but the protein options are quite limited. A majority of the fish and meat are precut and wrapped on styrofoam plates waiting in the fridge section. Our experience was okay up until we interacted with our cashier. She scanned our items, but didn't even offer any bags. We had to ask her for one, and she just tossed the bag at my sister. My sister was loading the already scanned items into our cart when the cashier demanded that my sister hand her the jar of salt sitting in our cart. She had already scanned the jar of salt, which is why my sister placed it into the cart, but the cashier decided to scan it again. The cashier didn't even bother asking us whether she had scanned it yet or checked the register to see if it was already in the system. She just assumed that we didn't place it on the conveyor belt and were trying to steal it. My sister and I knew for certain that she scanned it twice, so when we checked the receipt - LOW AND BEHOLD, there it is. The item appears twice on our receipt. The cashier was ringing up items for other customers and clearly saw us waiting at the end, but completely ignored us. We were obviously standing there and holding up the line, but she still chose to ignore us and didn't bother to ask us if there was anything wrong or why we hadn't left yet. After about 5 minutes, I finally grabbed her attention, and she didn't even apologize or admit her mistake. She just continued to ignore us as if we weren't there. Another staff member had to help me out and reverse the charge. Ridiculous. Why are people like this? What's the purpose of being rude and disrespectful to other people? What are you trying to achieve? Don't you want people to have a pleasant experience when they come to your place of business? I don't get it. Garbage employee. Never coming back.

They are mindful in their farming practices, ethical in their animal treatment, and you can taste the love. I was vegetarian for most of my life, mostly because felt guilty eating animals. When my health began to become effected by my lack of animal proteins, I slowly began to introduce meats. I bought from Whole Foods, it was "pasture raised," it was pretty tasty, but I had a hard time digesting it. A few years later I started buying my meats from a farm in Nor Cal and having it shipped. I didn't like that everything was frozen but I knew it was better than the grocery-bought stuff. Once I switched to Da-Le, was when I REALLY understood how important the methods of animal care are. The farm I purchased from prior, had no intel on feeding or culling methods, and when asked how they tended their animals, their response was, "we do what we want and they do what they want, we don't really tend them." I like the idea of free-range animals, but the vendor then went on to explain that they travel for great lengths of time and lots of people come and help out. It felt disconnected to me, like it was all for profit not out of love for the methodology of farming and providing the community with great food. Anyway, this is not about the "other guys," this is about Da-Le. I have built a beautiful relationship with Ashlie and her Laguna Beach Farmers Market crew, they always make great recommendations, and are truly engaging when you come to their booth. I don't feel rushed, I feel cared about! 3 years later, I am writing blogs for Da-Le, something that brings me the deepest joy, because I am so passionate about sustainability and wellness. My digestion of meats has greatly improved, and I personally feel it is because the animals live low-stress lives and eat quality food. I feel good about my consumption of meat when I support operations like Da-Le, and my body does too!
