We started off with a white sangria that we felt was a bit light on the alcohol but it was good. For appetizers we had burrata cherry bombs and grilled octopus. The grilled octopus was great and the burrata was good. Our main course was a pork chop and the chicken parmesan for me. My chicken parmesan was great and enough for me. A taste of Italy @ Mohegan Sun! The Farm Italy in Mohegan Sun blew me away with excellent food, terrific service and gorgeous decor and ambiance. I was so happy to have made reservations here before our show. Even one of the bartenders from the other bar mentioned it was her fave too:) We started off with some wine and then shared the Meatball appetizer. It was perfect for 2 and smothered with cheese. How can you refuse that? For entrees, I ordered their Eggplant Parmesan w/o pasta. If you want pasta that is an upcharge. It was big enough to eat without. My husband had the Cacio Pepe. Both were delicious, satisfying and couldn't stop eating them. I never knew that an Italian restaurant would be so good in Mohegan Sun. We both were pleased with how everything came out and the service was impeccable, hard to find these days. Plus, the restaurant is gorgeous with high ceilings, romantic lighting, it makes for the perfect date night spot. Not sure why this place did not receive 4+ stars but they surely do deserve it. Maybe check them out again. I always give places at least 2 tries before writing them off completely. We did book for 445pm so it was a bit earlier and felt like the restaurant was busy but not overly crowded. It was a very organized operation! We enjoyed the Burrata appetizer with tomatoes, crostini and aged balsamic. Burrata was smooth and creamy and the accompaniments were perfect. My husband and I ate here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We brought along our 10 month son who is special-needs. The restaurant and staff were very accommodating to us and found a table and made space for our son and his stroller. The ambience in the restaurant is very nice almost romantic. Our waiter Kyle was absolutely great. He answered the questions that we had regarding the menu and recommended a few wines to go with our meal. He was very gracious regarding our son as well. We also really enjoyed the fact that he waited until we were about halfway done with our appetizer before he placed our entrée order with the cooks. He made sure that we had enough time to finish our appetizer before our dinner plates arrived, which was a very nice touch. There are not many restaurants and staff that do this. We tried the charcuterie, board and bread for our appetizers. The charcuterie board presentation was beautiful and it was a very tasty board as well. The bread was good, but nothing outstanding. Very nice time before the show two weeks ago on a Saturday. We made the reservation months ago and thank God because people were getting turned away left and right and the bar was completely full. If I was ever going to the casino on a night of a big show, I would always make a reservation in advance due to the volume of people in the casino. For reference, we waited an hour to get our car at the valet after checking out the next morning. Probably would never valet again at the hotel. Ok more on the restaurant. They bring you pieces of Parmesan cheese, which went well with the wine. I got the swordfish special and it was incredible. Normally swordfish can be very bland, but this had a chili oil on it and artichokes, potato and the highlight - banana peppers underneath. Everything blended so well - delicious. Man got the Papardelle (bolognese). He said it was good. Ambience is beautiful inside and our service was very good considering it was packed in there. They got us out on time so we could make the show. What's nice is the GM/maitre'd came over and asked us if we were going to the show as well as our waiter. This restaurant is a well oiled machine. Brand newly renovated located inside Moheghan sun. Just open 3 weeks ago so maybe they are working out the kinks. Artichoke hearts were disappointing. It looked good nice n brown on the outside but It tasted vinegary not fresh. It tasted like jarred picked artichoke. The flavors didn't go well. It almost tasted spoiled. Needs improvement. Specially for $18. Dont just open the jar put in the oven, n charge $18! I can do that at home. A place like this should have fresh. Portions on the pasta are big so it's shareable. This was our first time to Mohegan Sun and as we were seeing a concert, we wanted a good meal before the show. The choices were diverse, and we shot The Farm Italy. the design of the dining room was a grotto style with great lighting. The options were awesome and the food arrived piping hot, and quicker than most similar establishments I have enjoyed in the past. I chose the veal and my wife has the shank of lamb and they were both outstanding. We actually enjoyed a desert to share and the tirramasu was light and flavorful. Visited The Farm Italy in Mohegan Sun a few weeks ago, so here's a shotgun review: - Located in Mohegan Sun, obviously - Literally huge - there must be close to a hundred tables - Pricey, but are we surprised? - Potentially the worst mezcal cocktail I've ever had* - Steak was good, but not the best ever - Fish dish was phenomenal, definitely the winner of the night** *Oh goodness gracious, this cocktail was unbearable. High end cocktail bars don't generally include "simple" or "sweetener" as a cocktail ingredient on the menu. So when I read the ingredients for the "Mezcaluna" & didn't see simple on the list, I guess I still didn't expect it be entirely unsweetened? But it was literally just booze, grape essence, & lime juice. It also was about 1.5 oz of liquid. Unbearable. **My partner ordered the branzino & I stole bites of it all night long. That fish was DELISH. It wasn't too "fishy," it had a mix of textures, it was savory & craveable, & omg my mouth is watering typing this now. I probably won't return - I think when I want to break the bank, I have other restaurants higher up on my list than The Farm. But it was enjoyable & I'm glad I tried it! read more

Second time back since it was renovated and name changed. Both times at the bar and was helped promptly. Didn't receive the parm cheese on this visit even though it was on the bill as a zero charge. Never had an Italian restaurant charge for bread in my life. An $10 bucks to boot- the bread looks great but doesn't take near as good as it looks. Rigatoni dish with sausage is fantastic. Mista salad is okay- greens are okay at best. Eggplant parm is small same shaped pieces stacked on a plate cheese- almost deconstructed. It isn't traditional but its tasty. We used to love Ballo, so we've been very curious to see what The Farm Italy was like! My husband and I visited for date night during a stay here, and we were so impressed. So many great choices on the menu, and everything was delicious. I could've eaten a million of the prosciutto on flatbread, and the pasta dishes were so flavorful! Very disappointing since the appetizer was $35 and the pasta wasn't even hot nor was it $35 worth. I also tried the meatball appetizer which were also a disappointment. If you want bread.... It is an extra charge of $10. Our friends tried the fried; calamari, swordfish and salamon which they weren't thrilled with. My wife's mushroom ravioli with a cream sauce was good... but you only get 6. My ceaser salad was also very disappointing. It was drenched in the dressing. I only ate about 1/4 of it. My chicken parm was just ok.... Nothing to rave about. Plus, you get nothing with it. I had to order a side of pasta for $10. My friend ordered the broken lasagna was which he never finished nor wanted to take home. His wife ordered the Chicken with spinach dish that she did truly enjoy. Nice personality, friendly and attentive without hovering. He gave recommendations which were very helpful. They served fresh cut paremsean for the table. We ordered the house bread and tagliolini to start. All very good. The tagliolini reminded of a breakfast pasta! Egg and panchetta! So good! The bread was fresh. I got the pan roasted chicken. The tomato harissa was delicious and paired very well with it. The duck fat fries were good but I hoped they'd be crispier. The fingerling potatoes were crispy and yummy. My husband loved his Malfadine, pasta with lump crab. We didn't finish everything to leave room for dessert. Everything was boxed up for dinner the next night. The redone Bello, now called The Farm Italy is fabulous! Jesse our server was knowledgeable and professional. I would request him all the time. We were there to see a show. Jesse knew that and made sure our orders came out in timely manner. We had the baked clams, the charcuterie board and the Gem salad to start. It is a bit on the dark side of a place but there are candles around and at the bar too. I was excited to try this restaurant out as before I got to Mohegan Sun. I then called on the same day to see if anything opened up but the guy said no but that the bar area is first come first serve. So I was excited when I went and there was room at the bar. I did go on the early side though around 5ish. I was watching a show at 8pm at the arena so wanted to have a bite to eat beforehand. The two bartenders I had helping me were both friendly and took my allergies into consideration and they were helpful too. I got the Espresso Martini. I was a little bummed as I did not get any espresso beans in my drink but the couple next to me did, but oh well.My drink was on the stronger side so I could not finish it. A Lot of the other cocktails sounded great though. I ordered some food which was : House bread, Meatballs and fingerling potatoes. The house bread was good but thought it would be better. It comes with herb butter, olive oil. The meatballs are made with mozzarella,pecorino,pomodoro, and basil. It comes in an order of 2 and they were tasty. Then the fingerling potatoes are made with caramelized red onion. I do not think I had any red onions though. My food did take a bit long for it to come out though It was because they wanted to make sure that my food was not near any of my food allergies. We had for entrees: chicken parm, Ceasar salad with grilled chicken, cured salmon with vegetables, and a fritto misto appetizer as an entrée. All four were excellent. The Ceasar salad was well dressed and chicken cooked to perfection. The chicken parm was pounded thin and covered by a zesty marinara. The salmon was well seasoned and succulent. The fritto misto consisting of peppers, white fish, calamari, and artichoke was fried to perfection. The lightest fried food I've ever tasted. The box of cannolis, as recommended by our fabulous waiter, Sam, were some of the best I've had. Sam made our dinner very enjoyable with his attentiveness and humor.
