Had dinner here tonight the food was amazingly delicious. The chef came out and was very proud of the food that he's still serving. Explained to us that they don't use dice and everything was made fresh they had cricket and playing on the TVs and our service was polite and unintrusive. The samosas were a little bit small, but they were very flavorful and very good. Our butter chicken was really well-made. The sauce was delicious. The chicken was nice and tender. We also had a sack burner which was also very good with nice chunks of paneer in the dish. The service was excellent. Beautiful decor and serving hardware. Gold colored silverware, marble tables. It is in the old outside food court area which is now mostly empty buildings. My curried chicken was very good as was the rice but my garlic Naan was very "dry". They offered to make me new naan but I was short on time. The good part was the owner came out to ask me about my food and they deducted the cost of the naan from my meal. I will eat here again. read more

You need to improve everything, it has been the worst experience I have ever in a restaurant, there were no naan available dayold food that was not even properly warmed up, as it was so called buffet, nothing ever get refilled, there was only 1 person who was mostly in Back of house and barely came up front, no one ever come to grab plates or no one even asked if we need more water. And for all that paying this astronomical price is literally waste of money. Will never visit back again and never recommend anyone here coz this is a shame as I have a couple guest with me. read more

What a great find. It's easy to miss this restaurant as it's at the Triangle Town Center but does not have high visibility. What a shame. Everything about our experience was wonderful. The waitress was very attentive and the chef/owner visited our table several times. The food was excellent and our party of 4 all had different dishes. The portions were great. I had put on my reservation (not really needed) that we were celebrating my son's birthday. Not only did the chef acknowledge this but served us a nice sized delicious cake (made by the chef) to celebrate. Such a great spot! We started with the shrimp appetizer--so fresh and perfectly seasoned. Then we had the chicken shawarma wrap with fries, and everything was flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The place was super clean and beautifully set up, creating a calm, inviting vibe. This seems to be the only restaurant in Triangle Town mall that is open; it's in the former court adjacent to the mall. It was hard to find and we almost gave up finding it. However I am pleased that we did. We purchased the lunch buffet and it was worth the cost. I love that we were able to try the different dishes. They were hot and delicious. I was also happy with the table service. The waiter was attentive but not overbearing. I look forward to going again. read more

They Call It a 'Favor'--I Call It a Ripoff (food not good) I'm extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled. My first visit here was great, which is why I came back and spent over $100 on a large order for my family. This time, it was a completely different experience. When I got home, I found that dishes had spilled in the packaging. On top of that, the food was shockingly bland--completely lacking the bold flavor you expect from Indian cuisine. It honestly felt like a different restaurant compared to my first visit. I called right away about the spilled food, and the person I spoke to was very understanding. They apologized and told me that the next time I pass by, they would remake the order. I appreciated that and was willing to give them another chance. A week later, when I called to let them know I was in the area, the story completely changed. Suddenly, they said they would only remake the spilled dish and that I had to pay 50%. After I pushed back, they had the audacity to say they would "DO ME A FAVOR" and offered 60% off instead. I'm not about to pay another $50 for food that was already poorly made and improperly packaged the first time. You asked for the opportunity to make it right--this isn't a favor to me. Between the inconsistent food quality, careless packaging, and unprofessional handling of the situation, I won't be returning. read more

This restaurant is such a hidden gem. Went to dine in-person and was treated like royalty. The service here is absolutely amazing, and the owner tended to our every need, made amazing recommendations, and was such a great guy to talk to. The food itself was delicious, ordered the Chicken Biryani and some sort of lamb and goat dish by recommendation of the owner. Very nice ambiance, would absolutely dine here again. Reading others' experiences makes me think maybe we did ourselves a disservice by doing the lunch buffet. We stopped in around 12:30 on a Friday, there was only 1 table occupied. The server said we could sit anywhere and brought us water when we were seated. No "would you like something else to drink" or anything, so we drank water. The buffet was pretty modest compared to others I've been to, but there were veg options so I was happy. The food itself was okay, not particularly spicy, although the naan was good. We tried a little of everything except the goat. Overall, pretty underwhelming, especially for the cost ($22 a head). The lunch buffet price isn't listed anywhere (signage, web site), so I felt like that was a little deceptive, but I should have asked. I will stick to Bombay Curry or Lazeez. read more

Absolutely delicious! We stopped by for dinner this evening after quite a few recommendations from other people in our neighborhood. The restaurant is surrounded by a lot of abandoned storefronts in the outside portion Triangle Town Center, but that doesn't take away from its charm and definitely doesn't take away from its food! The food was flavorful, with large portions. The tandoori chicken was the biggest hit, having been some of the best that we have ever had. We were hoping to eat in the restaurant but things too a small mishap with the fire alarms (the tandoori chicken comes out in a similar fashion as fajitas do and the smoke from the hot plate set the alarm off) we had to take it to go. The food travels extremely well and was still piping hot on the 10 minute drive home. While we were in the restaurant, the staff were extremely kind and helpful, albeit a bit soft-spoken which made it a little bit hard to understand at times. Despite this, they made myself, my husband, and especially our two-year-old feel right at home with small treats and kind check- ins as we waited for our food and packed up everything during the alarms. I can't wait to come back especially to try the lunch buffet, one of the few left in Raleigh. Lunch or dinner, definitely give them a try! I'd love to see them succeed and finally have a regular Indian spot in North Raleigh. read more

Nice , family run restaurant in the old Moes at Triangle Town Center Our meal was excellent . We had a potato appetizer that had chickpeas and amazing flavors . For dinner we had butter chicken , shrimp tandoori and salmon tandoori . I highly recommend this hidden gem. The service was excellent . There are no extra additives and they have dairy and vegetarian dishes . We had a wonderful evening . Looking forward to going back for the buffet ! read more

They try, really they do. But I can't give five stars to a place that just isn't cutting it. I can look past the post-apocalyptic mall surroundings they chose to occupy. I can look past the wacky waving arm-flailing inflatable tube man calling attention to their existence amidst emptiness. I can look past charging 1.5x what the food costs on average. But it better blow me away for 5 stars. It doesn't. I ordered salmon tikka masala and saag paneer. The 8oz of fish for $27 was marginally passable for a sauce that should make me want to come back tomorrow if you want to be a five star destination. The paneer was hard to find. The saag had a sour taste, either old dairy or hopefully not culinary inspiration because it misfires badly and soured the whole meal. The service was kind and friendly. An owner-looking person stopped by and asked about the spice level, and I thought it was a good medium spice but the heat lacked dimension, like it was all coming from one kind of pepper. read more

Fresh herbs, natural ingredients, and served within a reasonable amount of time. It's a little pricey for Indian in the area, but it's still worth going back for. read more

Has a natural and inviting atmosphere, staff will check on you at regular intervals and the food is great. I've been to a few Indian restaurants but this has the right portion size, right amount of spice and hotness. I would recommend to anyone that likes Indian food. read more

We had lunch there around noon on Friday. There were two people in the place. The waitress offered a buffet which was not there, it had not been put out because no one was there to eat it. I ordered lamb vindaloo spicy. It was price $28 and had maybe 6 small chunks of lamb the rest potato and carrot chunks. The first bite was sweet, it was hot but not like curry it was hot like cayenne, it tasted like they had taken a jar of Heinz chili sauce and kept adding cayenne to it to make it hot. My husbands lamb Saag medium spice was better but still nowhere near worth $20. The Roti $5 and garlic nann $6 were quite good as was the rice. The service was good, the place is nice, but this was the absolute worst Indian food I have ever tried to eat, and the most expensive needless to say I did not eat very much of it. I do not know where the reviews here came from but I can't imagine it was this place. I gave it one star because you don't have a zero. read more
