Speed of service earlier this week was unsatisfactory. We waited nearly 40 minutes for two burgers and when they arrived, the buns were hard as bricks and l had to forget the bun... We ordered via Uber and it was unsatisfactory. Our wings with 2 choices of sauce, HOT&HONeY MUSTARD) were placed together in a box. Our order consisted of 18 wings, 2 sauces, Wing Chips medium and a kids meal that was 10$. Our total with tip was over 60$ and very disappointed. I'll post pictures. read more

First off: I ordered from here before, it was wing chips as a side. Those were a little over done and virtually no salt whatsoever. This time ordered fries for a side, the same thing. They were a little over done, and virtually no salt. I still ate them all, as I didn't want to waste anything. If y'all ever tried those Utz dark russet chips, that's what they remind me of in terms of taste. I've seen reviews where wing chips and fries were that nice light golden brown color, but it looks like I was unlucky both times. However! Everything else was amazing. The sandwich had plenty of meat (roast beef), and nothing was dry. The bottom bun was lightly toasted, to ensure it doesn't get soggy and can hold the liquid of the au jus without falling apart. That au jus was really good, not too salty nor was it flavorless. The fried mushrooms, though, dang. It's my second time ordering them, and I will order them AGAIN when I go back in the future. So good with that crunchy outside and delicious by itself, or enhance that deliciousness with that ranch dressing they always give you. Despite the fries, everything else was really good. read more

I was looking for a restaurant for a family birthday - and a friend suggested Bogarts. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was worried when I saw that it was in a strip mall- and overall plain (no fancy chairs, tablecloths, or candlelight).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But the waitress was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Each of us (7) ordered a different dish [from catfish to cheesesteak to chicken fingers] and EVERY ONE of us loved our dish. I had a house salad, steak tips with mushroom gravy, and a baked potato. Delicious! I heard compliments on the sweet potato fries and wing chips (nicely crisp!), too. Not one complaint. I had high hopes for Bogarts - it's named for one of my favorite movie characters who had impeccable taste and it had good reviews. I, however was not impressed. I ordered the daily lunxh special - meat and three. I got meatloaf, hashbrown casserole, greens, cabbage and corn bread. First the meatloaf. It was actually pretty good, but was cold on the outside and hot in the center as was everything else on the plate. Hashbrown casserole was more cream of something soup than potatoes. That said, it was probably the best thing on my plate. The greens and cabbage came right from a can. The cabbage tasted just like Margaret Holmes right down to the seasoning. That's more than I can say for the greens as they had no seasoning at all. A real cook would have cooked then with a piece of bone-in ham. Finally, the cornbread - Jiffy mix straight from the box. So the meal was meh. Best thing I can say is it didn't cost much for the amount of food I got. $13 including a substantial tip as the waitress was nice. read more

We drove by today and after looking at the menu we were really excited to try. We walked in and the staff was super friendly but appears that the food is using recipes from Denny's. Nothing that was cooked there had any flavor and the only reason the pork belly bites had a flavor was based on the sweet Thai chili sauce. If they used a little salt and pepper this would be a good place to eat. When we brought the food home and reheated and seasoned everything was good but would have preferred to have that experience from the kitchen. If the staff wasn't as good this would be a 1 star place. read more

2019 was a terrible year for me. So when I had my birthday I wanted to have a steak. I came here and sat down and ordered. I wanted a beer. If you want foreign beer here, forget it. This place caters to American beer lovers. I myself like rich, full German beers. I ordered a Yeungling as the closest thing to it. I ordered the bacon cheese fries and they were good and a massive amount. When my steak came, I noticed it was undercooked, having ordered it medium. As I got halfway through it it became so rare that I couldn't chew it. So I waited to get someone's attention and sent it back. It came back, this time well done, a hell of a lot later than it takes to walk a steak to a kitchen and cook it. But at least it was warm. No apologies. Bill was full price. Until recently I really liked this place but on Saturday 6.25.22 I had the worst experience I have ever had here. Stopped in for lunch and a beer with a friend I wanted to introduce to the place. They were only about 10 people in here at the time and our waitress took our beer and food order promptly and she was great! The problem was we sat there for 15minutes and still did not have our beers, we noticed that the bartender ( an older blonde woman with a attitude) keep doing everything but drawing our 2 drafts that we had ordered. She would chat with several gentlemen sitting at the bar and wipe down the counter and go back and forth doing practically nothing. The waitress keeping reminding her that she still had not drawn our beers and she finally retrieved two frosted glasses from the freezer but then she just stood there at the bar talking for so long that the frost from the glasses had melted and she still was in no hurray to get our drinks. I asked the waitress, who had checked on our drink order a couple of times, again a very sweet and apologetic girl if there was a problem and she begged our forgiveness and but by this time I had been patient enough and tipped the waitress for her efforts and time and we left ...no food and no beer. Took my mother and two sons for dinner. I ordered a cheeseburger with mushrooms and with no mayonnaise and FLOPPY wing chips. My mother ordered a cheeseburger all the way and FLOPPY wing chips. One of my sons ordered chicken and a hamburger. One son's order came with wing chips, the other did not. We waited about 20 minutes for our order. When the order was served, the burger with mushrooms had mayonnaise on it. I told the waitress that I ordered my burger with NO mayonnaise. She said, ok can we switch the burger with your mom's and I'll get you another? I told her No because Mom doesn't like mushrooms. So she took the burger and told me that she'd go back to the kitchen and scrape off the mayonnaise and put on a new bun. I told her I wanted a new burger with NO mayonnaise. It took her another 5 minutes or so (so she scraped the mayo off, not time to make a new one) to bring it back out. While she was gone, Mom and one of my sons tried the wing chips. They were cold, like they had been recently removed from the refrigerator. When she came back with my burger, I told her we needed new wing chips, since those were COLD. We then ate our burgers, and when we were finished, the new hot wing chips were delivered. Never really had a problem before, so maybe we went on a bad night. Seems the waitresses don't really care about the service. Really a shame, because the food is good most of the time...... read more
