A grilled burger on a buttered bun with crispy smoked bacon strips, melted Swiss Chesse, lettuce and tomato with Guava BBQ sauce. The Guava BBQ sauce added that extra taste to the burger. Very nice! We tried their watermelon mojito drink in an oversize cup. The lime, mint, and watermelon juice with ice cubes elevated my taste bud to fight the humid Florida Summer sun! The only question we had afterward was, why did we wait so long? Our server, Shannon made our first visit memorable. Her service was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and she made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we sat down. She was easily 10 out of 10. My wife and I split the daily special, a full slab of ribs two your choice of two sides. We had the mashed potatoes and baked beans. For $17.25 it was an incredible value. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, packed with flavor, and easily earned 5 stars. The baked beans were delicious, and the mashed potatoes were creamy, homemade tasting, and just as impressive. Every part of the meal hit the mark. The only small area for improvement was the young gentleman who delivered our food. He simply slid the plate onto the table without saying a word. A little interaction, such as a friendly greeting or asking if we needed anything else, would make the experience even better. Overall, our first visit exceeded our expectations. The 3 seltzers we tried didn't taste right but maybe we just didn't pick the best flavors, not sure. We chose the pizza food truck for the kids- the pizza was so good, thinner crust, and not burnt, so loved that! The adults chose the taco truck: I had the meat tacos and they were bomb, meat was tender and delish. My sister had their specialty fish taco, equally just as wonderful! Love that we stumbled upon this event, kids had a blast and adults loved the food/beers. It's a win win for me!
