Don't come on a Friday night unless you bring your own food from McDonald's other wise you'll regret going to the Fat Frog. Sitting and waiting for 2+hours, empty glasses and paying full price not worth the wait. Service was poor even when the restaurant was overstuffed, and paying full price for food that tasted like it was Burnt to a crisp from sitting on the grill too long is ridiculous. The owners and management need to take a hard look at what the restaurant needs and not to sip on coffee at the bar when customers are waiting for food in the dining room and patio. read more

I have to say, from the servers, bussers to the chef the service is exceptional. Whoever is training the staff, kuddos. My husband and I went for lunch today. Wait staff was friendly, nice sports bar atmosphere. I ordered the Southwest chicken salad and was disappointed. VERY expensive for a plate full of lettuce with a few things mixed in, zero presentation, even the dressing was nothing to write home about. If you go, don't get a salad. read more

Food and service was excellent. Overall vibe excellent. Great sports bar to go to as all the walls are loaded with TVs including in the beautiful extended patio. We have been to enjoy this new establishment 5 times since opening. The first time was their 2nd or 3rd night opened. We knew we would wait, but the TV's and willingness to put 'your' game on were our inspiration. Although our first visit we waited a long time for our food, drinks flowed and the service was outstanding! When the food arrived, it was great-not your typical bar food. The next few times were with parties of 6-8, sat pretty timely, service was outstanding, everyone is always happy!! Food times continue to get better and Damien the manager is always willing to put the game you want to watch on a TV near you. What a great addition to our town and so desperately needed. Food was really good. We went last Sunday, and it was packed wall to wall with people, which concerned me, because I had a limited amount of time to make it to plans I had afterwards. For as many people that were there, it took abt 25-30 minutes for the food to come out, which I'm perfectly ok with. Got the mushroom/swiss smash burger, and sidewinder fries. The garlic aioli was a nice touch. Was able to crush the burger, and make it to my plans afterwards. We'll definitely be returning to try some different things out. read more

Had dinner at the fat frog tonight in Prescott, Arizona. New location opened on Highway 69. Had my doubts. Went with some friends. Was pleasantly surprised. We were seated and our server, Brooke, was great. Out of the four of us we ordered, chicken wings, the shrimp appetizers, pork belly, appetizers, loaded potato skins, and a fried chicken sandwich. All of the appetizers were very good. I really enjoyed the loaded potato skins, pork belly, and the shrimp was delicious. The chicken sandwich which we ordered with the onion rings, was also very good. We had different beers and also white wine, and margaritas. I will say that I was pleasantly surprised the place was busy but not overly loud. And Brooke, our server, was fabulous. But be prepared for the long, very long wait for your food. Wings are delicious. Ribs and pork belly were amazing.the wait omg 1.5 hrs for the food to come out and they do run out of things like mac n cheese. If you're a sports fan there's plenty of TVs to go around and around the whole inside and outside seating areas. Don't go hungry or go after 8 to eat. Service is good waitress was very nice. Too cold to sit outside at night. Gave it a 4 cause of the wait but it's a new place so I'm sure in time they will get it together with waiting for food. read more

The food was amazing, and the restaurant looks pretty nice, but we weren't expecting it to be more of a sports bar theme. The servers were untrained, and forgot food, drinks, silverware, etc. it got busy quick, and was very loud, between all the tv's blaring, and people having to talk over them. this is my 3rd visit and it keeps getting worse. first we were seated outside and once drinks arrived they moved us to the dj could play. it was 630 and they raised all the shades and the sun was brutal. my biggest complaint is that now the charge $2 extra for all sides on the burgers and sandwiches. REALLY? why not just build into price. that changed since they opened. my husband order waffle fries and got onion rings. they did not ask if we wanted receipt and when i left to get one it took 3 servers to figure it out. The place itself is beautiful inside and out, was seated and where they put us was right where the sprinklers were and it was kinda too much, so we had to switch tables. Our server Trevor A, I think it was didn't seem very friendly at all and he only came to check on us once. We placed our order, which came out in a reasonable amount of time. We ordered the combo app of fried zucchini and mushrooms, it's really hard to find the mushrooms up here so I was really excited to get them both. I took a zucchini and dipped it into my ranch dressing and took a bite and I kid you not it was so hard I could not bite it; I even had a hard time cutting it with a butter knife also. They were way overcooked, I was able to eat the mushrooms, and they were good at least. My husband ordered a chicken sandwich which he said was dry and hardly any sauce on it at all, I ordered the meat lovers flatbread, and it looked good, but you could tell the pepperoni on it was way overcooked as they were really dark like burned, the mozzarella cheese was not gooey at all, it was hard and I had a hard time cutting through it. We did not have a good experience, and we won't be back. It's really sad that you can't email the place to let them know how things are going for them. Oh, while we were sitting there this table had a dog with them, and he was fine, but I saw a waitress feed it something and then went and put the bag back and then continued waiting on tables without washing her hands, so they might want to tell them (employee) not to pet the dogs while working. My bill was over $52.00 which I don't mind paying if the food and service was good. After I paid the bill, he handed me the machine so I could add the tip, so I hit no tip and said we leave it on the table so then the waiter just stood there like he was waiting for us to hand it to him. I went there on Saturday. March 8 for a late lunch. Cute place with a nice bar and lots of tvs. The service was quick and the servers were very friendly. Our wait time was minimal although it was very busy. The menu I saw on line was very different than the one in the restaurant which was disappointing. I opted for a salad with chicken added and my friend had a smash burger. The salad was not very good and it tasted so off putting as if oregano or some spice was sprinkled on the lettuce. Tasted so weird. The chicken was ok and the other added ingredients besides the awful tasting lettuce was tiny store bought croutons. Very unimpressive. I definitely would not get this again. The menu selections are mostly what I call bar food. Not too many healthy options besides salads. The burger my friend had did not look appetizing but she liked it. The ambiance of this place is straight forward. What you see, is what you get. It's pretty much a sports bar. All good. Lots of TVs to watch so many different games. Bonus for sports lovers. Where we were sitting, I counted 20 TVs that I could see. The service was good as well. Attentive but not in your face. My order of wine was forgotten, and she was very apologetic. Not her fault. No big deal. The food, however, is a different story. If you come here to eat, which most people do considering its a restaurant... don't. We had the smash burger. Dry, dry, dry. I think they may pre-make the patties in anticipation of the dinner rush (we were there at 1730). Never, never a good idea. The onion rings that came with the burger were, how shall I say... horrible. Again, feeling as if they were premade. We also ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich with a side salad. Salad, okay. Bunch of greens. Very small, cubed tasteless tomato and what I could taste, was onion. Lots of onion. A chef should know that raw onion in a salad should be soaked in water and then drained to prevent the acrid onion flavor. Lovely onion taste will still come through, but the harsh onion taste is prevented. That did not happen here. The Hot Honey chicken sandwich which was an insipid chicken breast (overcooked - chicken sticking to your teeth) was poached? and dipped in some sort of sauce to resemble hot honey. No grill lines or any indication it was seared on a cooktop. Sweet hot sauce was more like it. Came on a dry cold bun with one piece of iceberg lettuce and one slice of tomato. Nothing else. Nothing. Else. I ordered a glass of house Pino Noir. I was asked "the house?". Yes, the house, please. $12. $12 for one glass of wine!!! House wine!!! Seriously??? And I didn't discover the price out until the bill came. As I am one to continuously hit my head on the brick wall until I walk away stunned and bleeding... I ordered dessert. Bourbon Pecan Pie. It was a 2" wide slice of pie presented to us with the words "Did someone order pie?" said incredulously. As it was placed before us, we understood why. This tiny pie was on a plate with one spoon to accompany it. That's all. This cold, out of the refrigerator pie just had a spoon to keep it company. No whip cream. No ice cream. Okay. Okay. Let's have a go. Cold pie with what might have been a decent crust at one time that no longer can be since it has been refrigerated and not even slightly warmed was... meh. The pecan part was pretty good, actually. You could taste a hint of bourbon, which is all one would want. But the crust which was so tough it had to be cut with a knife, distracted you so much, it was very difficult to enjoy. All in all, if you want a beer and sit on the patio, a great place for that.
