It had been some time since my last seafood boil and I was in the hunt for one. Thanks to my Yelpies, I ended up at the Fatty Crab. Overall experience was good but here are some pointers. The all you can eat on Tuesdays: Only shrimp, crawfish, mussels and clams. Nothing else. If you want potatoes, eggs, sausage or corn::: is all extra. You can add lobster or crab for an additional fee as well. Other offers they have: Free snow crab all day Wednesdays AYCE brunch 12-4 pm Sundays Cool laid back ambience and overall good experience... but the $25 ayce is misleading. The bill for 2 was $110 with tip.

We ordered the 1lb shrimp boil and omg.... this is one of the best seafood boils I've ever had! The sauce was soooo delish. they weren't stingy at all with the portions. I am absolutely obsessed, we got a buy one get one from uber eats but they gained a new customer regardless of the $$!! This will be my new spot

I ordered lunch for pick up and I honestly think they forgot to make my order. I put in the pick up time as 12:16pm and I waited almost 20 mins. It was not crowded so I think that wait time for a pick up is excessive. That aside...I would come here again, maybe sit down and eat inside. I'll update this review if I do that. The lunch specials are very reasonable. I ordered the $9 Cajun Pasta and it is really really good You can add a house made flavored lemonade for $4 (usually $6.50)...I had the watermelon lemonade. Pretty good. FYI...This lunch special is take out only. Being that it was my lunch hour, that 29 min wait really killed a lot of my time. But again, I think it was an oversight and that pasta was so good I'm willing to give it another go.

I've seen advertisements for Fatty Crab and its seemingly omnipresence's on Social Media and was excited about trying this Cajun/Creole place. Will it remind me of home......insert thinking emoji. The place is a nice size and they have definitely taken lessons from those popular joints in my neck of the woods. I met some friends here after work with a couple of their little ones. It was one of the ladies birthday (not actual birthday but she celebrates the entire month) The menu is expansive and there are some items you don't expect to find here in South Florida like Frog Legs and Corn Ribs. Surprising indeed. The offerings are everything from standard seafood boils, soups, Beignets to pasta and rice dishes. We ordered a variety of items for the table and Chicken Fingers for one of the kids Fried Shrimp and myself, mi amiga and one of the other kid ordered Boils we all ordered different Boils, Snow Crabs, Mussels/Crawfish, Mussels/Shrimp. We all got the combination spicy sauce, even the little one. My mussels and crawfish were good the sauce was pretty decent. I tasted something from all the Seafood Boils and the seafood was cooked perfectly. The Frog Legs were also cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Corn was good as well. The service was good even though our waiter was training, he did a good job. The manager came over a couple of times and participated in our shenanigans. A great time was had by all even the little ones enjoyed themselves.

Amazing Seafood Boil!! We came on a Tuesday so they had the AYCE option for $25. We ordered the: -fried calamari -fried catfish -seafood boil: shrimp, clam, crawfish in dynamite sauce. The sauce is SO SO GOOOODD. Our server Anita was so quick and super nice. I will definitely come back when we are in the area again. It is a family owned restaurant. One of the members came by all the tables and thanked us for dining and choosing them. I loved this!!

Went for the Sunday AYCE brunch deal, and it was very delicious! There was great r&b throwback music playing, which I thoroughly enjoyed The food was top-notch, I ate as much snow crabs as I could physically eat. The dynamite sauce is always my go-to. Service was great even considering the busy volume during the day, always making sure our orders were entered and food came with reasonable wait times. Highly recommend coming here for brunch!

This was a request from our daughter and since we've been to New Orleans many times didn't think much of it. Well, let me tell you we were pleasantly surprised how good the food was. You get plenty to eat and if you go on Wednesdays you get a free order of Snow crab. This is a major YES!

All you can eat for $39.99! I'm not a seafood person, but the other 14 people I was with definitely were. Luckily for me, they offer plenty of other dishes and sides that aren't seafood. FYI-- To do the all you can eat deal, everyone at your table has to participate. You can only order three dishes at a time, so for my first round, I went with the chicken tenders (3 pieces), corn ribs (4 pieces), and chicken pesto pasta. The portions were on the smaller side, which I actually appreciated--it made it easier to try more things. Overall, the food was pretty decent, but I know the real stars of the show were the seafood boils! The vibe here is high-energy and loud (they had a DJ), and the service was great. They also have a drink special: 2 drinks for $22.

    Why is this so congealed?

12/30/2025 7pm. Worse experience ever. I'm not sure how to even begin this review. 30 min wait was no big deal. It was cold so we returned our car to wait. I looked at the front outdoor trash can overflowing with so much trash and the spilt drink inside at the host counter as "maybe they're just short staffed." we sit down at our table and I tell the waitress it's our first time. She looked so annoyed at me as she tried to explain how the menu worked. But so no big deal. Food took forever to come to the table. I'm talking apps took 35 min. Drinks took about the same. I ordered the $25 drink and I had a total of 2 because the wait was just too long! Calamari was complete trash. Fried shrimp was 10/10. Although I asked for some cocktail and was brought 1 that was 1/4 way full and all horseradish. I asked for more not it never arrived. Mac & Cheese was decent with 2 whole shrimp it was decent. Now.... I can toss back a metric ton of crab. Soon after the first seafood boil arrived my face started to tingle. I'm a nurse and I told my husband to go get my EPI pen (I'm allergic to bees). I had already ordered another (2nd) round of snow crab. By the time it arrived my face was so tingly I didn't want to eat or drink anything else. I went to the car. The only things I had different from my family was the drink and clams. The reaction I had was most likely caused from spoiled or properly handled seafood. I'm now at CVS purchasing some Benedryl. There is no kids menu. So you have no option for the kiddos. I will never ever return. Service was slow and rude.

    Poor Quality Food for 79$
    Don D.

This is an honest review. It's not worth the $39 plus service charge and taxes. The food is awful, and it's not even buffet-style--it's more of an order-as-you-eat setup. The lobster costs extra at $79. Honestly, you're better off going to Harvest Buffet, which is far better than this place. This restaurant feels like a scam.

    Miya J.

Staff were friendly. Food was okay. Gumbo was bland and missing the authentic gumbo flavor. The fried shrimp were tasty. Drinks on point.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Doral and the Cajun cuisine is definitely tops. The flavors are authentic and delicious, and the portions are generous. The dining area is clean, well organized, and wonderfully decorated. The ambiance is lively with great music selection. The cocktails are creative and mixed perfectly. The best part is the staff and the service. Everyone is friendly and happy. Miki, who took care of us was simply amazing. She made great suggestions and was always available to make sure we had a great experience. I highly recommend the Fatty Crab for a great time and a truly wonderful meal.

Came here to celebrate one of my friends birthday and the food was pretty amazing. The lobster Mac and cheese is fire with the garlic toast it was a nice touch. The gumbo soup was pretty good and very tasty and spices were perfect. A great way to start your meal. The crabs and mussels were awesome and the dipping sauces were super fire. The waiter was good and very attentive. He got the stuff of what we need right away. The environment was great and cozy.

We rotate locations to keep it fair, and last month brought us to Doral. We started at a cigar shop, wandered into Sports Grill Doral... and never left. At first glance, it feels like a classic sports bar. But spend a little time there and you realize it's operating on a different level. The food is outstanding, the beer selection is strong (especially if you're into IPAs), every major game is covered across wall-to-wall screens, and they even have a DJ on certain nights. What really sets it apart is the service. The manager, Manny, and his team created an experience that felt intentional, not transactional. When they saw we wanted to play dominoes, they didn't hesitate. They set us up with a proper table on the terrace so we could enjoy cigars, order cocktails, and settle in for the night without feeling rushed. That level of awareness and flexibility is rare. If you're in the Doral area and want a place that delivers on food, drinks, atmosphere, and experience, this is it. Whether you're catching a game or running a few rounds of dominoes, this spot earns a return visit.

Second the only table available was under the tv so we couldn't see and there was a whole other section "closed" where they were not seating people until we had to ask as few time, so not good on service and organization. When we could finally seat at a table to enjoy the game things improved a little, servers were friendly but you can feel the place is not organized, we really didnt even know who was really serving us, we kept asking to whoever walked by for things. The food took long and honestly food was ok nothing impressive, I would rather eat at any other sport bar nearby or even a franchise for burgers or chicken. The only thing I really liked was the margarita, perfectly made and very delicious (not made with mix but the real thing!) so cheers for that!

The food was great and they had a small arcade. I figured this would be a great place to watch a game but never got to do it since I do not live close by. Forward to last weekend: there was a World Cup game that I wanted to watch and an errand to run at Dolphin Mall afterward. So I figured: what better place than Sports & Social? They required a cc deposit for reservations so I didn't make one. And also realized I didn't need to when I walked in. There is an outside watch area without service in the heat (no idea why anyone would watch it there and nobody did since it was empty). When I walked in, the host barely acknowledged me and kept chatting to someone else. We were told it's self seating but that I can't sit in a booth since we are only two people. I sat in one regardless and it wasn't a problem. Why would you tell a mom with a child to sit on a high top if there are other options available? Especially since there was a single man in booth next to me and a family of three on the other side next to me. Anyhow, my waitress was nice but service was so slow! I ordered a cheeseburger for my son and boneless wings for me. The food took a whole hour to come! They brought out the tiniest cheeseburger patty I've ever seen for my son. All the sauces I asked for were missing and I had to ask again for the side salad I ordered. Wings were supposed to be mild but way to too spicy. I didn't finish them. Asked a few times for unsweet tea but they didn't have any. Yes, the big screens are great but the TVs went out two times for a few minutes. They said it's because there's a cloud outside. Also, the arcade stuff was completely gone and under construction. Wanted to order desert but since everything took so long, I decided to order the check right before game end.
