Not sure if that's healthy but it is what it is. It's clean. It's medium sized. It's bustling. It's got a vast array of slots and all the table games. Best of all, it's got low minimums. I like to play craps and blackjack, but I'm not a high stakes gambler. The norm nowadays seems to be higher and higher minimums which at a craps table can price you out of a full strategy unless you want to risk a significant amount of cash at once, for blackjack, higher minimums mean less playing time on average for the same bankroll. This place had $3 blackjack, which meant that I could sit around for a while and play for fun without it being a big $ decision to do so. For that I am thankful and I'll definitely return if I'm in the area again. Nice people, cheap blackjack, good clean space. What else can you ask for from a casino off the interstate? 5 stars.

I ordered a simple cold brew with sweet cream, as I'm drinking, I noticed the cream has curdled. I go back and ask if I can have my drink remade and explain what's going on. The girl tells me that's how the drink is made. I tell her it's not supposed to be chunky, but she insists it is, and then she proceeds to charge me to make a new drink. Not only that but a disheveled girl sitting at the table, who I assume works there and is hanging out at her job off hours, requests to see the drink, then they start trying the curdled coffee to see what the problem is! Like who does that?? I had no words.

Italian Express - Pizza doesn't come out as quickly during the end of lunch hour (after 1), but there's still plenty of variety and it's kept hot

This unexpected gem is a seriously underrated steal for visitors and downtown office folks seeking…read morea quick, casual, and reasonably healthy meal at fantastic value. There are no price points listed anywhere, but the lunch buffet is all-you-can-eat for just $14 flat after all taxes and fees (as of April 2026). The restaurant has been here for 22 years and the owner personally greets guests, buses tables, fills and refills drinks, and sets your table. Super nice. There's a full salad bar, pasta bar, and pizza bar that's constantly refilled during lunch hours. The salad toppings were fresh and premium for the price point: Salad mix, chopped hard-boiled eggs, black olives, red onions, pepperoncinis, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, croutons, and half a dozen different dressings. The pasta bar had several different types of noodles and sauces. The protein choices were meatballs in red sauce (super delicious), Italian sausage, and chicken (a little dry). The marinara sauce in particular was super flavorful; I'm used to paying more for less quality and quantity. Finally, the pizza bar had at least four different pie varieties. I believe unlimited fountain drinks are also included in the price, but I stuck with water anyway. All told, this must be one of the best deals in town - made me feel like I was back in the 2000s with this price point! The cash register is old-school enough that I didn't end up being asked to pay a tip like all the new systems do, so I brought $6 in cash over later on to make up for it. If you're staying at the Sheraton for work or fun, come here for lunch - it's a way better deal than the hotel restaurants.

Italian Express - The meatballs in sauce were fantastic. The marinara sauce along the back is also really good. There's a daily soup as well.

Well, I was quite pleased. I'm not sure what Jan brought home qualifies as chicken strips? They were very large. Filets or breasts are probably better descriptors. They were excellent, and two was more than adequate for dinner. The remaining two will make their way to the air fryer to crisp-up for Saturday lunch. To quote DanO: Yum, yum, get you some".

Took a few minutes and we decided on coconut shrimp dinners for my wife and her friend and I had the beer battered cod(fish and chips) all with baked potato. Comes with the soup and salad bar. They have the best salad bar around IMO. Very well stocked with a nice variety of veg and fruit. Also known for their French onion soup as well as a tortilla type mix with pieces of sausage. I had the FO. Was good but most of the onions had been taken. We got back to the table and our server, Ethan, had brought fresh bread. We had enough time to finish that and our entrees came out. Everything looked good(see the pics). Mine came with tartar which I thought odd but they did have malt vinegar. All food was cooked well. The shrimp were very large and tasty with a nice orange marmalade type sauce. My fish could have used a touch more salt either before or right out of the fryer. Overall good dinner. They have a full bar with dining tables there as well as an outdoor patio area. They have several rooms where they can accommodate larger groups for special occasions. Pelicans has been a local seafood heavy restaurant for a long time. Back in the beginning they were one of the few fine dining establishments in the area. They still rank highly and the family is local. Always try to support local. The decor is very nautical as is the ambiance.
