Finally made it over to Italian express!!! I absolutely love the service and all this selections of Italian food. I enjoyed the salad bar, the pizza, the lasagna, the breadsticks!!! you can't go wrong when you're personalizing your own plate of food!!!! The service was amazing too as soon as your drinks go down he's bringing another one out!!!! The vibe in there was really good as well. But let's talk about the price!!! it was basically $14 per person, and that includes a drink!!!! So happy I found this place !

Super friendly and quick service and the buffet was quick and perfect for lunch. Didn't get a chance try the spaghetti so hope I will next time.

Italian Express has an excellent lunch buffet at a bargain price with a wide selection of Italian cuisine like spaghetti/pasta, meatballs, salads and vegetables. Great service and relatively spacious interior atmosphere. Recommended!

Do the words "Italian" and "express" belong together? You're probably saying no to yourself right now, but nonetheless we dared to find out by dining at this inconspicuous eatery downtown. We found this place on Yelp and were excited to try it out. Unfortunately, that's where our excitement ended. The food wasn't bad at all. But it wasn't anything special either. Based on the high praised Yelp reviews, we were expecting more. The selection of food was moderate and I would say that the stars of the show are the salad bar and pasta bar. The pizza served was a little bland and struggled to compete with good frozen pizzas from the grocery store. The price was a little high for what you get. Other buffets in the metro area offer more options and better quality food if you don't mind driving a bit. Is it worth making a trip out of your way to check this place out? I'd say no. But if you work downtown and need someplace quick and close for lunch or just find yourself in the area, it will do in a pinch. The "express" part of their name holds true - good service and quick food. "Italian".... well that's debatable.

Homemade Minestrone soup hits the spot for the cold days and pairs well with the fresh salad bar.

Must try: T-Bone Steak and a Double Deuce Beer!…read more Why: I've been craving steak for a few weeks and when I arrived at OKC a few people recommended Cattlemen's. Ordered a medium rare steak and it was juicy and tender. It was also a large steak. Meal came with a house salad, baked potato, bread and a roll. I was also going to order Lamb Fries as an appetizer, but the waitress was able to let me try one piece on the house - great service! It would have been way too much food for one person. I washed it all down with their refreshing Double Deuce Beer. Everything was flavorful and satisfying - the steak hit the spot for me. Notes: It was a quick drive from downtown. Right when I walked in I was welcomed by hostesses and seated immediately. Everyone was warm and friendly. Def felt historic and legendary inside with their table booths, photos, and decor. A great hearty meal for my last night in OKC!

The breakfast options and classic cuts are solid, and you can really feel the tradition in the place. My only real gripe was that my lunch steak came out medium-well when I asked for medium-rare, and it took a bit of flagging someone down to grab A.1. and refill my water since they were slamming through a big rush. Even with the temp being a little off, the flavor was still good and the friendly charm kept the visit really pleasant. The historic, nostalgic charm and the genuinely friendly hospitality are what make this iconic spot so enjoyable. The lamb fries were fried to a perfect golden crisp, the breakfast menu is legendary for a reason, and the whole restaurant carries that authentic western heritage vibe that is super hard to find these days. On top of that, the servers treat you like family from the moment you sit down.
