I walked into the dealership today with a loan from my bank all ready to go and if the truck I was interested in looked good I probably would have made the purchase immediately. However, when I walked in the door the gentleman inside was laying on the couch and talking on the phone. I got a "how ya doing?" and he went back to his conversation. I waited around for a few minutes, looking at cars, but it became apparent that I wasn't a priority so I left. I don't expect to be waited on hand and foot or anything, but if you're in the sales business I would think that at the bare minimum giving the customer your attention would be something important to do. Daniel is the owners son, I called in to see why they are holding my truck registration hostage. They photocopied the stickers and sent the picture to me in the mail stating that if i did not pay them $315, then they would not release my vehicle registration. When I purchased the truck, we agreed that all taxes and fees are included in the sale price. When i called to ask why, Daniel yelled at me and hung up on me. I called back to ask his name and he said "fuck you" and hung up again. Nice business ethics guys. I guess times are hard on your little run down lot. Some bullet points: 1- Their BBB Report is an "F" (that's the worst possible rating, there is no F-) 2- Yellowpages Review is 1 out of 5 stars - go figure! 3 - Mercentcirle Review is 1 out of 5 stars...another sign folks... 4 - Insiderpages Review is 3 out of 5 stars on 2 reviews. Why so high? One of the reviews is left by a "Sergio H" - what you know, a "Sergio" works in the front office there...these folks aren't too bright either. 5- Yelp review history is pretty crappy You know the saying, "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me." Don't get fooled folks! I gave these crooks the benefit of the doubt because it was a very rare car, and I was car-less! I had been looking for two weeks and this was the only one within 300 miles! Let's just say I spent $5,000 in 10 days on SAFETY related REPAIRS on a $15,000 car. I could have sued and probably won, but talking to one of the state's top vehicle fraud attorneys, he says I could win a case and make them take the car back but I would probably cost me as much as I'm already in the repair costs ($5,000). This place is absolutely garbage. Don't ever buy from them. I bought a 2003 dodge ram on July 4th 2013 and it's a beautiful truck. For some reason without telling me the down payment went from $1000 to $2500 I almost walked out but I was too emotionally attached to the truck at that point.. I had the machanic look over everything to make sure everything was good, he said he checkd the oil and fluids and all engine stuff, said it was good to go... Come to find out I bring it to another machanic and there's $1500 in engine repairs that need to be done.. The powers steering cable wasn't connected which could of caused a fire, the exhaust was leaking, there was a crack in the oil pan, the spark plugs haven't bend changed, and worst of all there was NO OIL in the truck and what little oil was in the truck was filthy.. So now I'm stuck with a truck that I don't even wanna drive =\ These guys are nice but would do anything to make a quick sale.. I would never recommend this place to anyone, buy elsewhere. read more

We went to this place and got a car and 3 days later it got a check engine and they told us the car should at least last us 4 years but 3 months later it needed a new whole transmission and costed us an extra 1200$, we tried to talk to them and they would take it there shop to fix it saying it would be 3 days but 8 days later we got impatient and got it back and they did nothing, but just take out a chip for the car seat so I couldn't move it forward and spent another hour at the dealership just waiting for the guy to finally put it back in Do not go here! THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES. My 81-year-old disabled mother wanted to buy my 17-year-old son his "dream car", a 1982 VW Westfalia. Ernie assured us that it was in perfect working order which was 1000% false. To add insult to injury, his wife personally owned the vehicle, not the dealership. They absolutely​ knew that it was leaking oil and making a knocking sound. We purchased the vehicle for $7200.00 and had it shipped across the country to MA (for $1500.00). When it was taken off the flatbed it was leaking oil. It was in the shop for the first month he owned it. We spent $ 2500.00 in repairs. My son drove it only 1,800 miles and the engine needs to be replaced for 6-7,000. When I called Ernie he refused to do anything. RUN! read more

Stay clear. They sale garbage. First they befriended you so they can sucker you into buying unsafe, unreliable transportation. Yes, I bought an older 96 Ford Explorer. It looks great on the outside but a real lemon on the inside. Bad transmission, blown head gasket, metal on metal brake pads, mismatched tires, contaminated brake fluid and the hood would not stay up. The Dad is major talker would not shut up ever doing the test drive. Only to distract you. Be warned. Wanting to make the car i purchased nice and safe. I bought new used tires all around as the old ones were all mismatched. The tires on the front were two sizes smaller than the rear. I wanted the car to be safe. Had a nice radio installed with phone blue tooth. One day later I Went to pay my cellphone bill the car would not start. Pep Boys to my rescue. Purchased a new battery as the other had bad cells. The mechanic walked by and notice no pads on my rear brakes and called me out to see. Wow, how can the Fine Auto Store sale such a car? They asked if I wanted a brake inspection, "yes, please". Bad leaking transmission, oil in the radiator meaning blown head gasket, brake fluid contaminated and parts actually glued to the transfer case. I paid $1800 for the car plus tax $2150 total. Then the tires I purchased and the battery and the Radio the hood lifts I was out $2700. They did give me $100 towards the radio making my loss 2600. Be late, I researched the company and their bad history along with ways to complain to BAR and other California protection agencies. After listen to Ernie Jr. explain how he was my buddy and how he was going to do me a favor, I got back $2100 after returning the truck. It still took everything to control my anger. I still lost $500 which I am not happy about. Do yourself a favor, with so many places to buy from stay clear of this place. If you read this and you still go there, Wow! Check also the better business bureau, they have the lowest grade possible, an F! All these reviews cannot be wrong. So I'm here updating my review... I had a week with my car & my radiator over heated because it had a leak. I called up Ernie jr. And let him.know they sold me a car with a leak and they said there wasn't anything they could do until we talked to the bAnk Nd told them.everything was okay then they would fix it for us. We went and sorted out the whole bank thing because in then beginning we didn't have a phone so we used my brother in laws phone number and they about shitted theirselves when they found out the phone wasn't my hubby s "personal phone" Ivan did help us out tho went right next door and hooked up my man with a cheap pre paid phone with a month's service so we could get this thing settled. okay so it was time to regulate on the leak at first they wanted to charge us half. Nope!!! You fix it!! I paid more than expected for my car YOU fix it. So thankfully they did. $800 for a water tank... I highly doubt it. Another big bother was I owed them $500 on the 8th I called them up and let them know the money was there on the 8th... I spoke with Ivan. He said he was to deposit the blank check later that night and never did. Called Saturday and Sunday... they were closed. I called again on Monday checked my bank to see if it went through and nope.nothing. since they lagged it I had another payment take out a couple bucks from that money. I called and told Ivan I would be in later with the cash. I ended up getting busy. And couldn't make it. So I call him.on the phone and give him my card info. And says he will call me back to let me know what happends. He never did. Go back to the Chase app and see it did Go though I got charged an extra $75 that I didn't have. I was all ready having a pain in the ass with all this. Call and ask why was I being charged $75 extra and he said it was a late fee. When I had called the day of the payment to take the money out allready. I demanded my money back and he said that There was nothing he could so because the machine automatically charged it. Bullshit. And I called the. Next day to talk to ernie Jr. He said he couldn't return it that it would just go towards next month's payment. I had the worst experience in my life at this dealership.... I would never recommend this to anyone, I have purchased many vehicles and this was by far a terrible experience. I just needed to purchase a truck to pull a trailer and located a 2004 Silverado and I was a cash buyer so I looked over the truck and the body was in good shape and interior was fair. I asked Chris the sales gentlemen if any work has been done to the car, he replied and said yes but the folder is locked in the owners office. So u drove the truck and it was very squeaky and he replied well it has high mileage. I thought to myself just because a truck has miles on it does not mean that it should be this bad, the mechanic said that it is just the back brakes... So they said they would repair them to fix the squeak and the Ac switch was having a issue as well as a door not opening .So I agreed for the repairs to bring it on Tuesday. So I brought the truck early and went by at 6pm to pick it up and they barely are getting started on it. This is only the beginning!!!! So the next day they don't call I called and they said it is ready for pick up so I get there and notice the the side of the door is ripped now and they said they would fix it Saturday are Monday so I take the truck home and sure enough still very squeaky. So the truck is not driven at all and I decided to drive the truck and go waived down on Friday bc a pedestrian said my brakes were on fire it was smoking tremendously and had to pull over... I called them they said they would check it out!!! So I bright the car back Monday with my wife followed me and notice the brake light were out so I asked for it to be address and they agreed. So I go to pick up my car Wednesday and the brake lights do not work so there mechanic took my floor mat out and put it on the ground while he is us ring it to look underneath the dash and when he got up I notice a meth pipe right on top of the floor mat that he just put on the ground so I said what is this s**t he said not mine lol with Chris the sales man as the witness so they were going to take my truck next store to have my brakes check and was going to let the guy drive my truck I said no way I address the owner about this situation and his response was very ridiculous and was very rude to me . I have a mixed review. So I'll just tell my story and let you decide. We are from a different part of the state. Saw the ad online for our dream car for the right price. We contacted them and talked to Ivan who was really cool. Also ended up talking to the owner who seemed equally charismatic and we felt good enough to put a deposit on the car until we could fly down the next day to check it out. I really appreciated that they inquired about my flight and were waiting for me when I landed, even though my flight was delayed twice. Great customer service there. Got to their lot, checked out the car and loved it enough to make the commitment. I didn't appreciate being charged "their fee" because I paid in full and put it on my Visa. For some reason they thought I would be bringing cash. So I was charged like $275 just for my choice of payment. And I wouldn't ever allow that to happen again though. I just got caught up in the moment with the car and was on cloud 9. All in all it was a moderate interaction. Now, I know (because I'm a gearhead) that it is fully my responsiblity to thoroghly check the vehicle inside and out BEFORE purchasing and definently NOT take their word for anything. Unfortunately because of my delayed flight I got there after dark. I still checked it out but not as good as I would have liked. One tire had a small bubble in the side wall, spark plugs, air filter, brakes basically zero maintenece appeared to have been done. I noticed to what degree when I got home. For me it's an inside job, I fix cars so I fixed the issues I found wrong with it but anyone else would pay hundreds if not thousands in repairs so it's a little troublesome that they don't seem to have a mechanic on the payroll who can at least make it a car someone could just maintain as opposed to having to have it repaired or have it blow up a short time after buying it. Not so good customer service here. And bad for business, hence the reviews. You gotta spend money to make money guys! Come on, it's simple economics. So the last thing was that three months passed and we had yet to recieve my registration,plates and title in the mail. The woman I spoke to stated that they hadn't reconciled my purchase yet because they were waiting on a document that needed to be signed by the previous owner first. I expressed to her my disappointment in their choice to sell me a vehicle that they did not yet legally posess. They certainly didn't represent themselves as a consignment dealer so I felt reasonable in my line of questioning. I also expressed that I wasn't happy that they had not made an attempt to contact us within the three month period to explain that there was a delay and why there was a delay. "Why am I having to call you three months later?" I asked the woman and of course she had plenty of excuses, none with which I cared to hear. I did receive the registration and plates within 2 business days after my conversation with the woman so that was good. All in all it was an okay experiance. Would I do business with them again? I tried to make a deal with the guy and we couldn't make a deal. The Van was worth $2700 in KBB and they wanted $6995. No deal was made and everything was fine. When i was leaving his office he started speaking to his manager out loud that I didn't want to pay taxes and lic and if i came back to charge me more on the van. So i got very pissed and went off on him. What type of owner says that to his employee while someone is there. Horrible customer service with over priced cars. The one issue I had with the car was fixed without question and I would never have known it was a problem they saved me 1500 dollars and didnt have to. When purchasing a used vehicle, if you don't keep in mind that its a used car. You can find yourself frustrated if things go wrong after the purchase. The first thing is you have to know the car you are buying, and know that its being sold "As is". Though if you identify any safety issues, they should have already been addressed by the dealership. But minor things well the dealership isn't going to rebuild the car for you.! Before your purchase inspect the car. If you deem it fit, buy it and understand ITS A MACHINE! you could drive away no matter how thoroughly checked. And it can break down 2 blocks away. Unpredictable! Doesn't reflect on the dealer. The dealership wants you back. They arent in the business to F you over. The business wouldn't last. 2011 I bought a 2012 CLK Mercede, 23 miles on it. 4th day cruising the beach the engine blew up. If only I had read these reviews on here first! Everything that happened to them is exactly what happened to me. I was very honest about a repair needed on a car I was trading in... And made it clear that I needed something reliable and was willing to pay the money for it. I was sold a car and when I took it into be inspected by a mechanic after buying it I was told that the engine was missing three of the bolt that would keep it in place. Not a minor detail in a car! At any point in time the engine could have fallen out... I blame myself for not having someone look at the car before I bought it but I also trusted them that any work needing to be done on the car would not be this serious or at that level. He acts as if he is very concerned for you and has your best interest in mind but I don't think he gives it a second thought and is only looking to sell something that is falling apart off his lot. I went in to confront him and he tried to play the game of getting very angry at me for saying such things to him and how could I accuse him of such stuff.... I do not trust them for a minute! They gave it the "green light" with their mechanic but my husband took it to the auto shop down the street from our house and they found $1500 worth of repairs that needed to be done, 2 of those repairs were urgent because it was a safety hazard. We've had the car for almost 2 months now and still no licence plate or proof of registration. when my husband called the owner, they couldnt remember who sent out the papers and kept telling us to call back. when we did, they said "oh yeah it was sent because its not here". well guess what?! I bought a car from them in 2015 an 07 dodge charge everything I was looking for..I only had the car for 2 days in it cut off on me while driving (dangerous) I called them and told them they took my car gave me a loaner( which was worst off than my car was) in the total of 2 month I had my car for 2weeks they keep taking it back "fixing" what was wrong with it. The owners father is very helpful but the actual owner is the biggest jerk I bought the extended warranty and he told me there was nothing they could do for me I needed to use my warranty and pay them but why if they sold me a lemon? So in the mist of all this my family and I moved to AZ and the car broke down on me on the way there with my 3 kids in 117 degree weather I had to trade it in for a newer car so I called and canceled my Extened warranty and the owner told me i can't do that but the paper work state that you can cancel they send the check to the dealership and the dealership cuts you the check. They sent them the check they cashed the check but never sent me my money. The owner claims he never received the check but the extent warranty company showed me proof he received and cashed the check! So long story short this place is a rip off they don't do things the legal way they play military families because they know they are good for the money (through loans) DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! THIS PLACE SUCKS! Absolutely dishonest with me about my purchase. Had a similar experience as S. T. who posted in 2013. Spent over $1500 just getting to drive and see a 2005 Dodge. Beautiful truck, come to find out that their mechanic lied about engine issues. I went to drive the truck all the way from Santa Cruz and bought a one way rental car just to turn around and purchase another one way back home. They try to make a quick sale and when I tried to get my deposit back they refused to talk about it and tried to make me sound like the bad guy. I don't appreciate their way of doing business. Yes they were nice but they do really shitty business and try to make a quick sale without being candid. As a matter of fact Memo, AND Ernie confirmed verbatim that the truck was "in perfect condition." I would NEVER recommend this place. As a matter of fact I found a perfectly conditioned truck that was less expensive and had no engine issues and I am a lot happier that I didn't buy it from The Fine Auto store. I don't trust them one bit and I don't recommend it because they are still trying to sell the truck that had lots of engine issues for $23,000, DONT BUY IT! Do not buy a car from this dealer. They are very dishonest. They quote one price on their website and when you get there, they tell you that is the cash price only. When they sell a car "as is" you will have to be a mechanic to keep the car running. There were so many things wrong with the car I bought and they refused to admit to or fix any of the major problems. I had a complete diagnostic done on the car from a professional mechanic and when I showed them the work order, they refused to fix any of the problems. I hate this car now and they won't do anything to help. plates were expired and months down the road they finally called saying bullshit about how they kept calling me but I never answered. They kept lying and lying. I tried everything I could, but they didn't even care, just feeding me lies. If you are looking for a car, don't go to them! Even the DMV doesn't like them! They already have bad complaints from them through the DMV and already have red flag on their files. I can write a novel on what happened on all the bad shit that happened to me because of this dealership. Do yourself a huge favor. Don't even come close to them or buy anything from them.
