After a Primavera Margarita and a Strawberry Basil Moscow Mule - both delicious - we moved on to a familiar bellwether, the French Onion Gratinée. Perfectly constructed and delightfully flavorful, we were off to an auspicious start. Our entrees were splendid! His salmon had a perfectly finished crisp and my lobster & shrimp pappardelle had a delectable sauce with copious seafood. Topping off the flavorful feast was peanut butter pie which was light and lovely. We were seated at the same table as last night (still cozy) and well-attended by Kari who knew who we were and chatted companionably with us.
