I'm happy to have called Fitness Together Arlington to give personal training a try. I love and am…read moreimpressed by their level of personalization. All of the trainers known your name before you even known theirs, and they always greet you with a smile even if you don't work out with them. It is clear that they love their job! The gym is very clean and well-maintained. They have two very clean bathrooms with showers and provide you with towels. They also have water and more towels to use while working out. They are also extremely accommodating with scheduling. On a personal note, I decided to give personal training a try to help with weight loss and to improve my overall health. I primarily workout with Paul who makes you feel like he is truly invested in you and your results and pushes you (in a safe way) to try things you would not try on your own. Every workout is personalized and adjusted for you; I've done so many new things that I did not think I could do! He really is like a friend who wants you to be the best version of you! Overall, I am extremely happy to have joined and would highly recommend it to others!

Paul and the team create a supportive and funny atmosphere and I LOOK FORWARD to each session. I have a home gym, but I still go to FT-Arlington because it is just a better workout. Do yourself a big favor and schedule and initial consultation! Also, for the people who posted that it's "expensive" have not seen other clubs prices, and perhaps do not understand the long term value of physical health, mental health, and over time the cost of having poor health.

If you're a busy dad of three like me, you know the fitness struggle is real. It's been a loooong…read moretime since my high school Track days, and trying to maintain a workout routine between kids and work was just not going to happen. I've lost track of the number of times I've said, "this is the time I'm going to stick with working out." I started going to Fitness Together last year and it's been exactly what I needed. No crowded gyms or waiting for machines. Expert trainers who handle all the thinking (and racking weights!) for me. Sessions on my calendar that keep me accountable. The trainers plan the workouts, track my progress, and actually make sure my form isn't awful. It's amazing how much easier it is to stick to a workout routine when all you have to do is show up and focus on picking heavy things up and putting them down. It's been the only way I've actually stayed consistent. If you've got fitness goals but zero time to waste, definitely check them out. Super glad I found this place.

I decided to try Fitness Together and the experience has changed my life! Unlike other fitness places I had tried, this program is tailored to my specific needs on a daily basis. I work with trainers one-on-one and they have come up with a workout plan and a meal plan that fits my personal goals. The trainers at Fitness Together in Belmont are extremely knowledgeable, encouraging and friendly. If I have any physical discomfort when I arrive for my session, they alter the exercises to accommodate my needs. Coming from someone who has always hated to exercise, I actually like going there because I feel supported and cared about by the entire staff. After working with them for two years, I am 40 lbs lighter and feel physically better than I have in a decade. I am so grateful to this amazing team of people for helping me obtain a healthier lifestyle! "

This is a gym that's not too expensive, not fancy, and is convenient for me to workout after or…read morebefore work. Its a fine gym. Nothing more or less. There are a lot of machines and the gym never really gets too busy. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for a machine or bench. There's tons of cardio machines and I haven't had to wait for one of these either. There's a good variety of equipment. I've been working out here for 4 months and have been able to make progress towards my fitness goals here. The gym etiquette is really lacking. I wipe down my cardio and machines before and after. I'm used to seeing people not wipe down a bench (for whatever reasons??), but I've seen a lot of sweaty people walk away from a spin bike or trendmill. Just gross. The staff is inconsistent- some times helpful, some times not so helpful. The layout is a little weird because the aerobics studio is in the center of the gym. There's no squat rack and you'll be banished forever if you attempt any deadlifts. This is likely because of the offices below, but those are pretty important exercises for most people. Membership is $30 or $35 per month (with guest privileges) and there is often a Groupon going on to give it a month tryout. The annual fee is $50 bucks- typical for most gyms in this price range. I wouldn't go out of my way to get here and you can certainly find better options. But if you live close to Assembly- it's worth the $30 bucks a month.

I called today with a simple question about their advertised 30-day trial. The woman, who raspily…read moresounds about 60 years old, answered the phone and sounded DEEPLY inconvenienced by having to do her job. When I asked whether stopping by today for the 30-day trial would result in a charge, she snapped that it would be a $20 day pass if I'm going for just a day. Fine. I then asked a very basic, reasonable question: if I tried the gym during the 30-day trial and decided it wasn't a good fit, would I still be charged? Instead of answering, she replied, verbatim, "I mean, come on, we're trying to grow a business, honey." Her fixation on "growing the business" came across as aggressively cheap and wildly unprofessional. I kept my composure and kept it professional, unlike the miserable front desk speaker. I repeated my question and she finally confirmed that no, I would not be charged. By that point, the damage was done. I went to try out a different gym and signed up elsewhere! And not to mention the neon green and blue theme would've been a sensory nightmare to be in anyway. It takes real talent to turn a simple question into a reason to lose a customer, but she managed it effortlessly. Ridiculous! And by the way, there is absolutely no way to justify this experience, if the owner tries and responds. She knows exactly what she said, and she most definitely did NOT grow her business today!
