Both the burgers and bowls are good here. I like the chicken teriyaki bowl. The burgers are freshly made and a decent size.

This tiny little place is what I'd like to call my "financial advisor." Because after I eat here, I can't walk around the mall anymore. Haha. I love the burgers & plates here. I try to get something different every time, and I've never been disappointed... Except the one time I got a salad, but that's my own fault, who the hell eats salad? A little pricey, kind of a long wait for food to come out, but so worth it in the end. I also love that the portions are perfect. I can pretty much finish the food, be only a LITTLE uncomfortably full, and not have to walk around with leftovers around the mall. I definitely can't wait to go back to try another burger soon. I usually don't review food places I really enjoy because I notice that once it becomes popular, the service goes to shit, but I guess I'll share just this once... I tried. I really did. But I consistently received poorly made food at Burger and Grill. The Katsu is over cooked and the chicken is way too thin. Most of the BBQ items taste like the griddle more than the wonderful flavors Hawaii has to offer. Mac salad is bland, kids food is cheap. But at least they have juicy whip! There are a few other great eats in the food court you should go to instead of this place, or if you're really craving, head over to Ono and you'll be set. read more

Ordered the BBQ Mix and got it in 5 minutes which, is horrible considering that it should take a little longer to prepare which means it wasn't fresh. Macaroni salad was really old and dry and tasted gross. Something as simple as rice was poorly executed. Chicken was old as well. Only thing good was the ribs though I know they weren't fresh either. We've had lunch and dinner here several times. The chicken katsu combo is our favorite. Once you order, it may take a good 10 minutes, but the food is freshly prepared and tasty! The counter staff and chefs are friendly and helpful. We eat dinner at Burger and Grill at least once a week! read more

BEWARE!!! My experience here was HORRIBLE!!! When I got my food the rice smelled bad and upon further inspection it was very sticky and slimy! I went back up to the counter and politely informed the cashier that I thought the rice was bad. She told me "it couldn't be, it was just cooked that morning". I said well I believe it was and I wasn't going to eat it and asked if that was the only rice and she said yes. I then asked for a refund. She said they don't give refunds and it was posted. When I asked her where it was posted she looked around for it and didn't know. That was when I noticed it was hand written and taped to the front of the register. She was like "oh yeah...there it is". Then she referred me to the cook whom I assumed was in charge since she was so dingy and didn't know what else to do to remedy the situation. He asked what was wrong, I said I thought the rice was bad, he went on to say it was just cooked in the morning, I asked him to smell it. He then got very rude and starting mouthing off to me saying I was wrong and I don't know when food was bad etc etc. He refused to give me a refund and said he had more rice in the back (after the cashier said there wasn't any other rice). He was set on not giving me a refund so I said fine get the new rice. After he plated new rice and the rest of my food he brought it up to me, shoved it in my face and said smell this rice! You sure it's not spoiled? I told him he was very immature and an ass and took the food, walked over to the trash and threw it in. After knowing the rice was bad, and he would not even acknowledge it or check the rice cooker it came from, it stands to reason that the other food in that place may be bad from poor food handling and I decided not to chance the food poisoning or worse! A place that doesn't give refunds cannot and does not guarantee the quality of their food! I'm sure that plenty of customers complained about the food and had come up for refunds so they wrote their little hand made sign and posted it. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Great little spot. Excellent burgers, I love the chili burger. It's messy but definitely tasty. Like someone said before, your food is grilled so it takes a bit but its worth it. Cheap, great food but terrible location. I definitely recommend it if you're in the mall. read more
