It's locate in a warehouse building in a business plaze because it's just a Venues & Event Spaces and not a restaurant, so they do not serve food or drinks here. However, we had arranged caterings to bring the food in, and we brought wines and cocktails which their staff helped serving them. So basically it is what it is, a very simple empty space which you can make what you can make of it. I am not sure the management provided the backgrounds and curtains as they looked simple but nice. The IT staff brought in the screen for presentations and the loud speakers for music and announcements. As the meeting getting to the end, I felt it went smoothly and thought the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I thought was parking could be a challenge. If you plan to have a large group of people attending a event here, there will not be enough parking spaces in front of the building. Your guests may have to park out in the back and walk around the building to get in.

There is a snack cafe on the way out to the gardens where you can purchase drinks & light food items. There is also a museum store and a theater inside the museum. I do recommend that you visit the museum as early as possible to have the best experience with fewer people and cooler temperatures. However, the real showstopper here is Roji-en (Garden of the Drips of Dew) - the 16 acre Japanese garden with over a mile of accessible walking paths to explore and enjoy. The original museum building (the Yamato-kan) measures approximately 2,000 square feet and is set inside the garden. There is a huge pond in the garden as well, and plenty of nooks and crannies to discover/ When driving into the museum grounds, you experience part of the 200-acre Morikami Park, which includes pine forests, nature trails, and picnic spaces. You can definitely continue to enjoy your day surrounded by nature in the park once you've toured the museum & garden. Open: Tuesday -Sunday 10am-5pm Adult entry: $18 Plenty of parking in the large parking lot Arigato!

Big bright green iguanas prancing around the property. It is a wonderful day trip, you can have lunch at the cafe on the outdoor patio and enjoy a variety of Asian dishes, boba tea, and other cold treats. There is a short movie that tells visitors about the inspiring life of George Morikami, the man who created this place and dedicated hundreds of acres back to Florida. There was an exhibition on Japanese Bridal Kimonos, Japan's efforts in American wars, and a model 16th century tea house with a very informative diagram explaining the traditions and build out. The gift shop had so many cool things bookmarks, Japanese candy, art, keep sakes, clothes, and so much more. Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens is unforgettable.

We got the family pass and were able to leave, have dinner and come back for more play time. They do have a bar area and you can order food and drinks. Service was good upon checking in, as well as the bar area. If you find yourself near here, totally check it out.

We had planned on going there for games afterward anyway. I didn't play any of the games, but I must say we were VERY impressed with the reception staff, wait staff, and food. They were kind do us and very attentive. There was a lot more on the menu than I had originally thought. I had the Chicken Caesar Wrap with the Jersey fries, and they were both very yummy. The thin-crust pizzas had a great crunch, spicy marinara, good cheese, and a nice char if you like that sort of thing. The kids enjoyed the quesadillas and mozzarella sticks. My husband enjoyed the wings, though he would have liked more sauce. You DO need to pay to park, but that is to be expected in that high-traffic location in Delray. I was surprised it was only $4.75 for two hours. We would definitely return to Silverball if we're in the area and want to grab cocktails and good quality bar food.

The IBM PC Model 5150 was developed on campus in 1981. The first PC keyboard was also invented here by IBM engineer David Bradley although he credit its popularity to Bill Gates who decided to license his operating system to IBM in what is now the 5000 building. The campus was built as IBM's North American Research and Development facility in the late 1960's. It was designed by Marcel Breuer who is known for his conic Brutalist architecture with minimalist and functional designs. The innovative infrastructure was designed to withstand a category 5 hurricane. CP Group acquired the property in 2018 and IBM departed in the early 2000's. It has now been transformed into a vibrant hub for technology and life sciences with amenities like restaurants, art galleries, and event spaces. Future plans include corporate offices, retail, hospitality, and residential spaces. There are miles of walk and bike paths around campus that are open to the public. My favorite place to walk is around the lake which attracts birds and ducks. 5.5 laps around equals one mile. The lake is 20 feet deep in the center and holds 10 million gallons of water. While on campus you can also check out the Art on BRiC Walls Art Exhibits. Take a self guided tour of art exhibits lining the common area corridors. Collaborations with Palm Beach County museums, schools, colleges, and art organizations line the walls. Also on campus you will find Marcel Brewer's Cafe by Carmela Coffee, a conference center, a 7,000-square-foot fitness center with locker rooms, showers, and group fitness classes, an on-site primary care office, bike storage, Bits Autonomous grab-and-go, and more. BRiC is well worth checking out for the history, architecture, and art while exercise enthusiast can use the campus to connect to other nature trails in the area. The campus is also the host of the Coco Love Fest, a family friendly event from the Coco Market that offers retail shopping, activities, and workshops. It looks like a lot of great things are happening at BRiC. I can't wait to see what pops up next.

Where Innovation Meets Community - A Hidden Gem in Boca Raton!…read moreThe Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC) is so much more than just an office park -- it's where the past, present, and future of innovation intersect. Originally IBM's R&D hub and famously the birthplace of the personal computer, BRiC has transformed into a sleek, modern 1.7 million square foot campus that draws in today's brightest minds in tech, life sciences, and entrepreneurship. And best of all -- it's open to the public! I visited BRiC for the ABC Supply Great Chefs Tailgate Showcase on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, and I was blown away. The event kicked off college football season in true Boca fashion -- great food, amazing energy, and a strong sense of community. Local restaurants, breweries, hotels, and mixologists brought their A-game for an unforgettable night of flavor and fun. Some standouts from the culinary lineup included: Eddie V's Prime Seafood Boca West Country Club Los Bocados Crazy Uncle Mike's Graze Craze Boca Raton Deep Eddy Vodka Prosperity Brewers How Ya Dough'n (yes, the pizza was amazing) And many, many more. It was an epic tasting tour across South Florida's best eats and drinks -- all for a great cause. The event supported Spirit of Giving's Holiday Gift Drive, helping thousands of local kids experience the joy of the holiday season. Love that BRiC hosts events that give back while bringing the community together. The space itself is impressive -- spacious, modern, and full of energy. It's clear why so many global enterprises and startups are choosing BRiC as their home base. Whether you're a local, a visitor, or just a curious foodie -- keep your eye on BRiC. It's a unique destination where innovation, community, and culture collide.
