    a band playing on stage
    Irma M.

This is my first time going to the Flamingo. I loved the music by "The Poyntlyss Sistars Rockin' Show Band". It's a great band to dance to, lots of oldies. I went with some women friends. I loved the music and the dance floor. My complaint is serving drinks. One friend had a Amoretto and Irish Bailey which she said tasted terrible. She didn't return the drink. She did add some creme to it but it didn't help much. I wasn't going to comment until the bartender added a different white wine to my glass because she ran out of Kendal Jackson which I had ordered. KJ doesn't come out of a screw top it has a cork.

When I'm in SR I usually arrive at night and it's the pink neon that dances in the sky which is often so alluring. No Cal Happy Hour carries specials and in these parts its great to check them all out, wherever they be. I stopped by recently to see what the scene is like here. Guest services greeted me and explained that it's end of season and not as lively but to stop in and check out their HH specials. There were at least fifteen plus or so in the pool and a few were perfect hard-bodies. The bar overlooks the courtyard, pool and other relaxing, garden seating. I sat by the pool on comfortable wicker seating with a large table. The wonderful Alicia was my server and recommended a few tasty tapas plates. Pricing on plates during the special were $5 - $6 dollars. Draft and house wine specials were $4. Their beer menu is terribly short but I found a decent micro, Speak EZ drafts. It was a pleasant day with good sights, lovely bar staff, tasty tapas and an inexpensive happy hour. Don't forget about the Flamingo, they are open to the public as well and appreciate the stop in.

It wasn't bad but there are just too many other options in Santa Rosa for me to repeat a Happy Hour here. The seven of us tried ALL the appetizers - favorites were the nacho fries and the polenta sticks. Redeeming factor for this place is the outdoor pool/patio tables but I'm not sure if you can sit out there for happy hour anyhow. It was a lovely view though!

This is the band we went to see yesterday they're called crossfire was a great experience we were dancing getting our groove on all night

Great place for music and dancing. I hope they will have djs or live bands soon! I especially like R&B or classic rock.

There's almost zero damping and no acoustic management whatsoever. It has the appearance of an attractive venue without the functional reality. It was incredibly painful with the voices of all the talking along with the music ringing in our ears. The conversations of people were amplified by the design of the facility to the point where they were competing with the fully amplified '90s band that I heard called joose. In addition, they appear to have no comprehension about how to actually create an appropriate acoustic management system. There are no damping systems, no soft surfaces, it's like they didn't even ask anybody who knows anything about anything about how to do acoustic design. It's entirely appearance based. We will never return here again for anything other than a cocktail or maybe a karaoke event. It was a waste of $20. Per person. We effectively paid $40 for a couple to be acoustically tortured for 2 hours. We kept hoping it would get better but it didn't I thought maybe once more people came in they might help but it didn't help they just got louder. I can't believe that nobody else has complained about this before.

However, these performers just lip sang and walked around collecting tips. Hardly any interaction with the crowd. The '3 course meal' was awful. First course was a small cinnamon bun and mini chocolate crossiant, second course was a tiny portion of french toast casserole and egg frita, and then dessert. It was all sugar- no protein, or fruit. Definitely felt like a rip off.

The chicken was good, moist, accompanied by a tasty slaw and pickled veggie bits. 4 stars The greens were okay but mediocre 2+ stars *Service--our server was pretty much going through the motions, perhaps a long day. 2+ stars, The host was pleasant and helpful. 4 stars. *Price--expensive. Hosts were super friendly, just like the last time, so no complaints there at all. Overall, this escape room was much, much better than the Charlie's Candy Shop escape room. It felt much more intuitive, and the clues were written clearly, which made the experience more enjoyable. The only issue we experienced was in the second room, during the part where you use the dowsing rods to find the letters on the wall which are needed to open the safe. We weren't able to get any readings from the dowsing rods, we weren't sure if the magnets were not strong enough or if something else was affecting it. We ended up calling the host for help, and she was very nice and helpful. She gave us a hint about using a specific word on the metal board, and we immediately understood which five-letter word she meant. That hint worked perfectly for us. Other than that one part, we had a great experience and enjoyed the escape room!

We enjoy bowling during football games so we can watch and bowl and get boneless wings from victory house (and sometimes Bloody Marys). The waitress was so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu and cleared up any questions we had. The food is so delicious. We ordered Parmesan cheese and ancho French fries, queso fundido, and chicken bacon pesto pizza. The fries were so crisp and quite seasoned. Will say they are a go to option whenever I come back. It's nice to find places that serve crispy fries like that. Crispy on the outside, nice and soft inside. It was quite a treat. Queso fundido was a great option because we had a hankering for nachos and this definitely filled the cravings. If you're someone that maybe doesn't do onions, just make sure to ask for no onions. Luckily I'm able to do onions, but you never know if someone has a preference. The cheese and chorizo combo was amazing, and the best part it wasn't greasy or fatty from the cheese. It just looked so clean. The star of the show had to be the chicken bacon pesto pizza. I love a good pizza but my favorite are the out of the ordinary toppings and sauces. They had other amazing options but it's not everyday I can try a chicken bacon pesto pizza. This was a homerun and a half. I definitely recommend this pizza to anyone who wants to try an out of the ordinary combo. The pizza was cooked to perfection and it was fluffy. The cheese was all over the place because, I had an amazing cheese pull! If you're one for cheese pulls, this one's got your number. All in all an amazing experience. I'll come back here again
