Boy what a blast from the past walking in this place. The ambiance was awesome, the beer tender was great and the outside perfect for chatting up with friends before the Wednesday night market with Gas money and Fuel. Will definitely be back to try some food.

Stopped at Belly after some shopping. The menu offers a variety of pub favorites in a relaxed atmosphere. We had the the crispy beef tacos which were expertly prepared, offering a perfect crunch and flavorful fillings, cheese curds which were irresistibly gooey and savory, and refreshing margaritas. The lively and fun atmosphere makes it an ideal spot to indulge in delicious eats and drinks with friends. We will certainly return. Staff: fast and friendly service.

Stopped by this plate for dinner and it was pretty slow so they had close the kitchen but they squeezed me in. The server I had was friendly and the two tacos were tasty and filling. Will return again. Also had a nice blueberry beer which hit the spot.

Belly has some of the best cocktails in Sonoma County! I often stop by here for drinks with friends and staff is always super welcoming. This is my top pick for a quick bite and drink in town. Location is perfect. 10/10.

Walt from Walt's Adventures...continuing my adventure in Santa Rosa, California from Belly Left Coast Kitchen. We were shown our seats immediately in their outdoor dining area. If the eatery had heaters, they were not in service. The service, on the other foot, was on fire, to coin with a phrase. The dishes were presented well and all possessed quality. The appetizers were large enough to share, the fish and chips were a great staple and the burger was the 3rd best tasted by its consumer. This restaurant now holds to be one of my favorites in Santa Rosa. If you seek fine food, then seek out Belly Left Coast Kitchen

Sunday all day happy hour - need I say more? After a walk around spring lake stopped by for bites and cocktails. Seating out front to enjoy the sunshine and watch everything going on downtown. Inside is a typical sports bar atmosphere - sports games on the Tv's and moderately loud. Service was friendly and we were checked on multiple times during our visit. Cocktails $10 - beer/wine $7 - $10. Bites - $5 to $20 options. We ordered the peppered fries and spicy artichoke dip with tortilla chips. Cocktails - dirty martini, red sangria & margarita. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I wish I had ordered the queso fondido with chorizo (next time). This is a very chill relaxed casual place. They don't rush you, able to just visit with your group and enjoy your food and drinks at your own pace. Great spot to just drop in - worth a try.

Always have to try at least one signature cocktail!

n my humble opinion, any restaurant that hangs a picture of Anthony Bourdain over the door to the kitchen deserves my support!! Belly Left is definitely a vibe all it's own! It's a blend of trendy taproom, old school dive bar, fusion food hall and downtown hang out spot! We visited Santa Rosa for the day and decided to sample the local spots so although we didn't have a full meal, we did sit at the bar and have a couple cocktails and a snack. The bartender was efficient and cocktails were fine, he just wasn't really friendly to outsiders, tended to stay hooked in with the locals. We opted for the pork belly because when it's on the menu, who doesn't!! First of all, huge portion for an appetizer, we loved that! Issue was, since they're "burnt ends" there were too many small pieces that were way overcooked, making it more like pork belly jerky. Not a bad thing, just not what quite right! Personal preference and opinion on the sauce, it's quite vinegar forward so just know that going in! All in all, nice experience and would go back.

Service can be slow here but the people are great. Some come with a good attitude and some patience. Stopped by for some dinner not too long ago and was pleasantly reminded of their all day happy hour menu. Ordered the cheese curds and the brisket tacos ($10 HH) and sent a couple beers for the chefs. Food was good. Not what I normally ordered but I would definitely get the tacos again. Ambiance is your typical sports bar with loud chatter and multiple tvs playing a variety of games/shows. Always a good time.

Walking in downtown Santa Rosa always makes me want to sit outside and enjoy people watching on a sunny day. We went to Belly Left Coast and loved the outdoor seating patio. Our waitress informed us that the kitchen was a little behind but we were in no hurry. The Bavarian pretzel bites came out without much delay, warm and soft on the inside with a generous amount of salt on the crust. The cod fish and chips were excellent. The fish was flaky on the inside and the fries were crispy with amazing seasoning. The truffle mac and cheese had plenty of flavor from the truffle oil but other than that, it was missing some salt to give it some more flavor. It was a nice lunch that I would try again.

We came here before a movie to fill up and kill time as we opted in for a late showing. What a mistake. I feel maybe I am to blame to think this place would serve good food, but I think they are probably better known for their bar scene. We ordered the caramelized onion bacon cheeseburger, the wings, and the smoke brisket tacos. We started off with the wings. We were disgusted with how dry they were. Even dipping them couldn't save the mouthfeel of the dryness. To top things off with the wings, I picked one up from the untouched wing plate and I was shocked to see that half of the wing was missing. I first accused my boyfriend of biting into it, but after telling me he didn't do it, I thought maybe someone else ate it. We shrugged it off and started to try to finish the rest off when all of a sudden my boyfriend picks up another one and shows me the exact same issue with another wing. We found out half our wings were like this. We ended up telling our waitress about the issue, and she told us that it was possible that the chicken coming out of the oven got stuck to the baking medium they used. We however were kind of annoyed that the kitchen tried hiding them from us and didn't even give us the parts of the chicken that were missing to at least give us all of the chicken we ordered. Cheeseburger was ok.. was pretty lackluster and not much flavor to it other than old-tasting bacon and cold disgusting fries. I think the best thing that we ordered were the tacos but even that won't bring us back here for a meal. Would probably come for a drink or two next time but seriously, spend your money elsewhere for something better to munch on

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat, and it was great! We had the pork belly burnt ends and the Brussels sprouts. Both were amazing... So much flavor on the brussels sprouts in the pork belly was excellent!

So crispy and garlicky! And, the kitchen (plus our amazing server Gustavo!!) was kind enough to make a custom pesto cavatelli for me because I didn't want the cavatelli with morel mushrooms! I will be thinking about the texture of this pasta + the pistachio pesto for a long time. They kept the corn pudding of the original dish at the bottom and it was such a good combination of flavors. I got chicken added on top. I got an espresso martini with gin; pretty good, just wished there was a bit more espresso flavor. Probably would order one of their house cocktails instead next time. Lastly we had the stone fruit cobbler with ice cream and a pine nut/pistachio brittle. Unlike any other cobbler I've ever had. Perfection of different textures. Also, we had the duck fat fries on another day; they were delightfully crispy and lightly seasoned with garlic. The ranch it came with was so yummy and definitely dill-forward. I'd definitely come back! Thank you for your hospitality.

This location in greater San Rafael is a bit out of my way, but a recent trip to Marin was an opportunity to make up for the lost. Located in a business center, parking here is not an issue and they were not particularly busy on a Sunday night. We were seated immediately, noticing how clean and modern the two-story gastropub looks. The food menu is more or less pub food, executed well. Mango-habanero wings were crispy and came with two dipping sauces, both delicious. We also tired the pretzel, which is on a smaller size, so next time I'll take our server's suggestion and order two. It also came with mustard and cheese for dipping. All their burgers are more or less a la carte: no fries, but chips and house pickle on the side. The burgers were fine though, with smash being smaller, but a bit tastier than their signature Monk's burger. Simplicity is sometimes the best. The beer list is expertly curated with focus on other styles besides IPA, but I assume that Russian River's Pliny the Elder and Blind Pig are always on the menu, in addition to ultra-local options. For pub fare, Monk's Kettle is a bit pricy, which is not totally unexpected in today's economy-especially knowing the area. However, elevated food, drinks, and service quality usually comes with the elevated price tag. We might not be back next time in Marin, but this was surely not the last visit to Monk's.

I'm allergic to seafood, so my mind just goes blank. I can tell you that the meal was enjoyed. It's a fairly large restaurant with great menu options. There are two huge televisions which thankfully didn't have the volume up on. The server was very attentive but not overly bothersome which was a bonus.
