My review is based solely on customer service as we did not get our TV mounted by this business. This one-person company is a total flake. Communication is inconsistent or flat out nonexistent. Scheduled an appointment for Tuesday and Clayton provided a window. I reached out 30 minutes into the said window and didn't hear back til almost 2 hours later with an excuse that he was stuck on a different job. Forgivable which is why I rescheduled for the next day (he offered). Next day comes and I called and texted an hour after he didn't show. His response didn't make sense saying he was stuck in the city that I live in. He then asks if the next day works and you guessed it, nothing. He stopped responding altogether. It's fine to be "busy", just don't commit to the job. Extremely unprofessional. read more

I wouldn't even give him 1 star but had to give 1 star for me to post this review. If you dont want to waste your time and vacation/pto hours i would not do business with Clayton. He is very responsive when scheduling an actual appt but very flaky and very unprofessional when keeping actual appt. We had scheduled for him to come out on Tuesday at 4pm and that my husband would be taking time off from work to accommodate Clayton's schedule. Tuesday 4pm comes no Clayton and no text or call letting us know that hes running late. 430 comes nada, 5pm no Clayton so my husband sends him a text asking for his ETA. No response. I texted him at 5:55 asking him if hes still coming. No response until 755 pm saying: I'm so sorry I got stuck under a house for the last 3hrs trying to track down electrical issues I understand things happen. BUT a simple text letting us know that he was running behind or is not going to make it would have been nice. Everybody has things to do. It would have been good business ethics to keep your customers in the loop. It doesnt take more than a minute to text. Respect your customers time too especially my husband used his PTO to leave work early. (Complete waste of PTO hours) Would not recommend based on this. read more

Says he can come the next day at 2:45, I say sure. Again, no word, and no show. After calling around, I give him another chance 2 weeks later, he says "I'll be there tomorrow at 9am". At 8:55, he texts me and asks if he can come at 9:45am - running late. Sure, no issue. Then he asks if he can come later in the day, I give him a time, and no response. Call him and text him - nada. I'm sure he'll give me the same song and dance about being a one man show- yada yada yada. I also run a one-man business, and I'd be broke if I had this guy's responsiveness. Committing to times and no-showing is a non-starter. I'd rather he just not respond. The work he does is probably fine, but to waste two days waiting with no response is not cool. Clayton did an excellent job mounting and hiding the wires for my Sony XBR65X950G and Sony sound bar in my family room. He ran the wires through the wall and directly below, creating a new outlet box behind the TV and one behind the TV stand for the HDMI cord to run to the cable box and for the power for the TV and the sound bar to tap into the existing lower outlet. He provided the low profile mount as well as a couple HDMI cables and Optic cable for the sound bar. I didn't have a COAX directly behind the TV stand, it was 6 feet to the left, so he ran the COAX from outside the house into the wall and created a new COAX outlet behind the TV stand. This was an exterior wall so you can't run the coax sideways through the studs and insulation. Clayton did the install in just under 2 hours and was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a lot to talk about and had great conversation. I had shopped around for the best price and Clayton was able to beat the competitors. I can't recommend his service enough. He does all his own work as well as managing the scheduling, so please be patient if he doesn't get back to you right away. It's great to support a small business owner, especially one who is managing everything themselves. I will bring him back when I'm ready to do the next room! read more

Disclosure: I did not end up using them, but found their lack of good communication something I should point out. I called/texted/emailed Clayton multiple times and found him rather unresponsive. I could not find him on his phone (understandable), but upon leaving multiple emails and texts, he didn't reply with a definitive answer re: whether he will take the job. He gave me a quote and timeline a week away that works for him, but I asked him to confirm a time multiple times and he said he would check his calendar but never got back to me.
