We are currently doing a full house remodel. We purchased LVP flooring a looong time ago but because of all the delay in construction it took over a year since purchase to actually pick it up. The only issue was that week we wanted to pick it up, it was transferred to the warehouse in Pittsburg. Luckily Diana expedited it back to Sunnyvale and we were able to receive it only a couple days later. Then we were short quite a bit and Diana was able to get some more for us in a timely manner. Thank you to The Floor Store and Steve Boardman for helping us at every stage of our DIY flooring project. They helped us choose the best maple engineered hardwood from what was available and the variety of flooring offered was better than any other store we went to (Lowe's, Home Depot, S&G, etc). I was doing a remodel on my house and needed new flooring, and new countertops. I looked at Home Depot and Lowe's but didn't find something that was durable and could last. I have 5 kids and pets so I needed something that is easy to clean, waterproof, looks nice but doesn't cost a fortune and one that is easy to clean. I came in and saw Charlie and he knew exactly what I was looking for. He helped me with the flooring and also with the countertops. I get lots of compliments on how nice my floors look and the countertops from the color, the edges, and the price. The floors are perfect because the day after it was installed, one of my cats peed on the floor in the middle of the night and when I saw it first thing in the morning, it picked up so easily and didn't seep through or warp the new floor. My husband and I chose The Floor Store because of all of the positive reviews and experiences shared by others. I wish I could say the same about ours! We chose our plank flooring and the installation started yesterday. We were shocked to return in the evening from work and find our Home is such a MESS! The installers didn't bother to cover anything with plastic including our new leather sofa and love seat, tables, TV, etc. They didn't bother to put up a barrier to areas that aren't getting planks laid like our kitchen and bathroom...the result a THICK COAT of DUST on EVERYTHING! We didn't pay over $10K for our new floors to have our Home treated like this. Needless to say we are livid and this is completely unacceptable. I sent the Salesperson that helped us, Chris, an email first thing this morning and he is unresponsive after 5 hours. My husband and I have tried repeatedly to reach someone at the Sunnyvale to no avail. Someone either needs to clean or pay someone to clean this mess...it's not going to be me and my husband! I was greeted by Steve who was extremely kind, patient and professional. He took the time to understand what I was hoping to achieve and Used those samples when he came over for meAsurements. Steve was so patient with my indecisiveness and remained very professional and patient even after about 2-3 changes. The ordering and installation process was seamless. I had an excellent experience in dealing with The Floor Store in Sunnyvale, CA. I had the linoleum in a bathroom removed and needed to have it replaced. I spoke to the manager, Chris, in my first inquiry call and he patiently explained that what is currently used in flooring is tiles or luxury vinyl planks. When I went to the store to find out more, Berto helped me to find an appropriate choice. When my first choice became unavailable, he called to offer an alternate and to bring a sample to my house for me to look at. I ended up going to the store and decided that it was a good choice. It was easy for me to schedule the installation and to make a date change. The installer, George, arrived on time and told me approximately how long it would take. He kept me informed throughout the installation process and it took less time than anticipated. When he showed me the results, I was very pleased as the luxury vinyl complemented my cabinets, which I wasn't sure about since I hadn't compared a sample to the cabinets. Charge $56.95 for one piece of used tile for sample! This is my first time going to the "The Floor Store." I was interested in getting a sample of one 6"x 12" white tile. It is a used tile with two lines of silicon on it. The salesperson took all my personal information and then said, "There is a $56.95 deposit." I was shocked. I have gone to many tile shops in San Jose. They all have samples for free. I understand if I need to pay for one piece. but to check out one piece and pay for the whole box? I don't think this is a right way to treat customers. This is an overcharge. read more

Here are some photos of our floor separating called Diana in late December and did not get a call from the insulation department till late February was not happy that it took so long and she never reached out to touch bases to tell me what's going on they finally called and we set up an appointment for February 25 between one and two and they said no work was gonna be done the guy showed up at the door at 11 and looked at the gaps and started shuffling the boards with his foot in Stafford falling off the shelf I'm not a floor installer but I think there's a better way of doing it the installer spoke very little English and it was hard to understand so I called Diana And she said she spoke Spanish but the gentleman had already left and he moved the Gap from one spot to another So again I had to chase Diana down She is such a hard person to get to return your calls I did not feel like dealing with it at the time so I said I would call them back and I have to take pictures where the new gaps are read more
