After talking to Kellie about the issue I had, she agreed to resend an arrangement & explained what happened when FTD sent them the order. Today, another arrangement was sent for my daughter in laws birthday & I was amazed!!!. It was absolutely beautiful. She went above & beyond to make it right. I would highly recommend this business. On Wednesday they sent a flower bouquet in my house that was unbelievable, probably the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. The owner called me on Saturday after she read my first review and she was extremely sincerely apologetic. She then offered to send me a replacement and no charge and I accepted. Please avoid! I wish zero stars was available. I would not recommend. Flowers never even arrived! Customer service is horrible, so I cannot get in contact with anyone at the actual flower shop. I called FIVE times and each time it was a call center. The call center told me, each time, that they would contact the florist, and I never heard back. They even said they would contact a supervisor. When I asked the representatives for a phone number to the florist, they said they do not have the ability to process. When I asked to transfer to the florist or supervisor, they said they do not have the ability to do that either. They said all they can do is add a note. I have emailed three times. Horrible customer service where you cannot get any actual support. And, unfortunately, you don't get your delivery either. Guess I'll try calling another five times today and maybe get my money back at some point. DO NOT order from them unless you want to just throw money away. read more

I placed an order today around 9am. Called around 12pm to see if the flowers would be delivered before 4pm. I was told that my order had just been accepted and that it wouldn't make it to the business on time. They said they would be able to deliver to a home address. Well, it is now 8:30 pm and have not received a delivery confirmation or anything. The flowers were for my mother. This is my first and last time I order from this place. I understand that they had a big volume of orders but if they knew this would not make it out on time or get delivered, why not send an email or call? I would've been able to make It to a store and get her something had known they would never deliver. Can you imagine how bad this would be if you were at home with your wife and the flowers never arrived? It's Valentine's Day! I'll just call tomorrow and get a refund. 02/15/18 First thing in the morning, I called for a refund and asked for the flowers not to be delivered. Called a few hours later and was told my flowers were on the way to be delivered. Agreed that I would return the flowers if my mother did not want then to get a refund. My mom calls me all excited because she got her flowers. Keep in mind she didn't know how much they cost or how they were suppose to look. When I seen it my mouth just dropped. This place was Awesome today. I went in with short notice to have flowers delivered to Rush-Copley. My neighbor came out of ICU today and I wanted her to have flowers in her room. They were able to get them there fast and they were beautiful. Price was reasonable, and delivery charge was lower than other places I called. The Flower Basket was hired to provide Flowers for my moms funeral. The flowers were horrible! Thankfully, we ordered additional flowers through TeleFlora. TeleFlora used The Yorkville Flower Shop. Her work was gorgeous! You should never have to mourn your mother with subpar flowers. I hope no one ever have this experience. read more

Ordered this amazing arrangement from this florist via Teleflora for Mother's Day. Paid over $90 and they sent this horrible dollar store vase of cut flowers with brown leaves and dead snapdragons. Not even remotely close to what I did order. It's like they tossed in all the flowers and crap left at the end of the day. If they couldn't fulfill it, then just call and say so but don't send this crap and think I'm going to pay for it. Teleflora is refunding my money and the florist can come get this thing. read more

The flowers are brown on the tips of them at delivery, they wilted overnight, and sent no flower food for them but they are definitely not fresh to begin with. Also sent much smaller and not as nice quality as pictures on the website they show much nicer flowers but send cheap fill in flowers. Also the arrangement itself was not put together well the flowers were all either short or taller not mixed into a nice pleasant shape. Highly over priced for poor quality I have had better flowers from Aldi or Walmart read more

On valentines day this year I received a bouquet from my boyfriend. He said to me when I got them that he ordered them earlier in January. Despite the flowers being beautiful and all, they were not the right ones. They were a small bouquet that looked like they were for someone's birthday with colorful streamers and all. I didn't think much of it because I thought they were pretty. When my boyfriend face timed me for me to show him how they looked and he was like wait.. they are nice but far from what I ordered. So I asked him to show me what the ones looked like that he initially chose. They were 100% different (the ones I got were like $30 and the ones I was supposed to get were $100) so I reached out, they contacted me back the next day, initiated a refund because that is what I requested and they were very understanding and said it was most likely a mixup. Then I was stopping at my house to let my dogs out in between my classes and heard the doorbell. It was the flower basket. They decided to re create my bouquet FREE of charge, with the vase I was supposed to get and let me tell you... they were so beautiful I almost cried. I have never written a negative review in my life! If I could give this company a zero, I absolutely would. I place an order online two days ago to make sure that it was specifically delivered today, May 10th. I even called yesterday to make sure they had received my order and give them specific instructions for my delivery which included three different contacts phone numbers to make sure this was delivered properly. I called today to find out what estimated time for the delivery was going to be and they told me that they did not deliver it because the driver could not find the recipient. I nicely ask them why they wouldn't have called the other numbers are called me to let me know and they told me that they don't have time to call customers back on deliveries. The lady I spoke to kept yelling at me and interrupting me saying that they were too busy to waste their time on my phone call. I then asked for the owner Tiffany. She came on the line and said that they could "try" to deliver it tomorrow because they were way too busy today. I told her that would be unacceptable being that today was Mexican Mother's Day and that's the whole reason why I placed the order two days in advance. She told to go ahead and write a bad review because she didn't care. She then put me on speaker phone and said that she did not recognize Mexican Mother's Day while her whole staff laughed at me over the phone as she hung up on me. I not once yelled or said anything inappropriate to her, wish she would have given me the same courtesy as a paying customer. I highly recommend calling somewhere else for flowers. I have no idea how they are able to treat customers like this and still be open. read more

Hey but don't worry if they steal your money because the foolish owner, Colleen, thinks that saying "she has been in business for 40 years" makes up for stealing my money. You have been warned. Update: Went in personally on 3/14/18. Employees kept insisting, "you already have your money." Well, if that's the case WTF am I doing here?! Had to have the police called and a civil case opened yet they still wouldn't give me my $68.14 back. Also, before ordering from here you should visit the shop. I am very disappointed with the service and flowers that I received from the Flower Basket and I would not use or recommend them to anyone because of the following issues: I was sent flowers for my birthday on July 6. They could not be delivered because I live in a gated community and I was not home to allow them access into the community. I received a VM from the Flower Basket that day advising me to call them to schedule another delivery date. I called them on July 8 and spoke to Carol. I asked her NOT to deliver the flowers again until I called back with a definite date. I was not going to be home because of scheduled birthday events. I called several times on July 13 to schedule a delivery date and received a message that the Verizon service was no longer available, so I couldn't leave a message. I was not home during the afternoon of July 13. That evening I received an email from my neighbor stating that flowers were on my front porch. I never received a call from Flower Basket indicating that the flowers had even been delivered! When I finally spoke to the manager (Brandy) the next day, she apologized and said that she would look into their error and get back to me. I also told her that the flowers that I received were not in good condition. The leaves were still on the stems that were in the water and it was very murky! She offered to send me more flowers, but I declined because I would have the same delivery scheduling issues!!! It's now July 18 and I have not heard back from the manager! If I could give this place a zero star rating I would. I ordered flowers on foryouflowers.com , i ordered the premium flowers (most expensive) , a mother's day balloon, and 2 latex white balloons. I paid 120 for this not including the tax and delivery fee. For starters when I left a phone number to call to let me know the flowers arrived... they didn't call, nor did they ring the doorbell. They left the flowers sitting outside on a windy day, the flowers fell all over our front porch, the balloon was completely deflated, also MISSING the two latex balloons i PAID for. I ordered these for mother's day and they looked very beautiful on the website but come to find out they look NOTHING like the picture on the website. This place is false advertising and when I called 3 TIMES I spoke to 2 different people, and the third time no one answered. They told me to wait after the mother's day rush that someone will get back to me... NO ONE has gotten back to me. It's been 2 weeks since, and i'm very disappointed in the flowers I bought my mother for mother's day. My family and I have used Flower Basket several times and have always been completely satisfied. One recent more incident sticks out in particularly in my mind. A friend of mine recently passed and I wanted to send flowers to the funeral. I hadn't had the chance to order until the day of. We called the Flower Basket up and explained the situation and that my friend was a huge Blackhawks fan. The girl on the phone was incredibly sweet, understanding, and said it would be no problem to get something incredible together for her that day. The Flower Basket put together a wonderful bouquet filled with fresh and beautiful red and white flowers with a couple of black feathers, completed with the Blackhawks logo. My friend's family LOVED the flowers. Thank you, Flower Basket for making that difficult time just a bit brighter. read more

I ordered a floral arrangement to be delivered same day. It was affordable. Well that came at a price because she never received it. The first time I called i was told mine was the only one on the table to be delivered and would be here shortly. Second call i was told that have many orders that it was on the the truck. I was put on hold and when they came back on the line was told mine was next to deliver. I did inform them that we were almost going to leave and did inform me that was an option for the time to deliver, i was unaware of that. We still stuck around for 45 mins and still nothing. No phone call or notice of it did deliver nothing. I just want a refund now. The person is no longer here. read more

The worst flower arrangements I have ever ordered. I sent myself one and my son and both of them were substandard. I understand that some flowers can be substituted with comparable flowers but this was not done. 0ne of the arrangements literally had three carnations in it instead of red roses, was not a Christmas shape as the picture stated, no ornaments , 1 sprig of holly and a tacky metal container. My arrangement was suppose to have red flowers and green orchids. Instead it had 4 white roses and no orchids. The Flowers's they substituted for the orchids were not the quality of the orchids and were dead within 4 days. Also, both of the arrangements had browned geeenery upon delivery. My arrangement literally stood about 8 inches tall and could not be used as a centerpiece Would never use them again. read more

My fiance ordered me flowers on Valentines Day as a surprise to be sent to my work. He used the shops website to place this order and followed up with a call to the shop to be sure that the flowers would be delivered that day. He was reassured that the flowers would be arriving by 6pm though would probably be earlier since my place of work is less than 10 minutes away. He called again in the afternoon just to double check and they said again that 100% that the flowers would be delivered by 6pm and that he couldn't change the address to our home, I get off work at 4. I stay 2 FU***** hours after work for the flowers to arrive and they NEVER came. I tried calling the store but it was an answering service who couldn't do anything for me. Nor did myself or my fiance ever receive a call that the delivery would not be made. On Valentines day this joke of an flower shop was CLOSED BEFORE 8! My grandparents owned their own flower shop for decades, my dad grew up working in that shop, and on Valentines day they stayed until the last customer was gone and all the arrangements were delivered, and they were closed by 5! I finally got a hold of the person who runs their Facebook page and was rightfully angry. Not only did I not receive flowers but stayed at work for over 2 hours after I could have left and spent time with my fiance relaxing and enjoying the holiday... and let me tell you... after her passive aggressive responses she reassured me that he would be refunded his money in the morning if he called "Carol"... he called twice and both times they stated they would call him back... now almost a month later they are stating that they gave us a product and are refusing a refund. THIS STORE IS A EMBARRASSMENT. My mother tried ordering flowers from here before for my grandmother's (who was a florist) 90th birthday and she was given the run around because they couldn't make special orders so she said screw it. THANK GOD she decided not to go with this shop because it would have been embarrassing for her to arrive with flower arrangements that are half a**ed garbage. Buyer be warned. There are tons of other flower shops around the area that have better customer service and product. This shop is run by a bunch of self-absorbed, lazy, lying, incompetent people who can;t even stay late on their most profitable day of the year. Update: Last week, after sending them messages and writing under some comments under their review section, the store owner reached out to my fiance and PROMISED a refund of his money. And sure enough, a week later still nothing has been refunded and they are giving him the same run around. This place is a joke. Don't waste your time or money. Update after the update: They blocked his social media so that his review will not show up on their Facebook page. Cowards. It doesn't allow for a "0" star rating, so I had to put a "1." Suffice it to say, THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! My feelings, as a Mom, is that a floral business shouldn't bother working with Prom, if all they care about is taking a teenager's money, disregarding their own employee's hand-written notes for a corsage, and then berating two parents as we ask for them to make a corsage again, with flowers that actually match the boutonniere ordered. Oh, lets not forget the part about embarrassing the male teen (who ordered and paid for the corsage) by telling him he didn't spend enough money to get the two little silver sprigs. I have been to many florists over the years. I have NEVER encountered a situation such as we did last week. From the moment we implied the flowers were completely wrong (color, type, etc.), we were forced to listen to an owner tell us that we should feel lucky that the designer made a corsage that held more expensive flowers (forget that they didn't match), and then act offended when we asked to just make the corsage as was ordered. Then to embarrass the teen over two silly little pieces of sprigs (that were actually shown to him originally by the salesperson who helped him design the corsage.) Oh, and the slamming down of the corsage and boutonniere and telling us "take it or leave it!" Hmmmm, well, we paid a week prior, so did we have a choice? Seems all they cared about was the line of people purchasing perhaps more expensive items, in preparation for Mother's Day. Shop Local?? I think NOT! Not for this business I wouldn't. read more
