Happy that KFC is back in town…read more 9/10 of my KFC orders are the chicken pot pies. Whenever I eat out and get a chicken pot pie- I compare it to KFCs. Been to boujee places, diners, National chains - and I keep coming back to KFCs. It's perfect. Good size. Flaky crust. Great chicken to veggie ratio. I also like the original fried chicken. The colonel got them 13 herbs and spices right. Tuesdays you can get a 8 piece drums and thighs bucket for $10. If you want sides and biscuits you can get it for $20. We also pick up the $20 fan favorites box quite often. Comes with 4 fried chicken, chicken nuggets, biscuits, and fries. Wedges are back! Finally!! I find wedges to be superior to fries. Mmmm they're coated in the same chicken batter coating of herbs and spices and it's delicious!!!!! Oh and the fries are good too. But you can't even get wedges in the frozen section of the super market anymore. My only gripe is that the KFC sauce (red wrapper containers) is not a choice option on the app. But they never have any problems giving me the sauces when I pick up my order.

This time, we left happy, and full! Garlic knots with marinara, on point! My husband enjoyed his Caesar salad with house made dressing. And the pizza was delicious! The spinach and artichokes had just enough flavor not to be bland. The ricotta was a nice layer - not thick- and flavorful. The crust was light and airy, just enough crunch. Maybe it could have used a drizzle of olive oil after cooking, but it was still very good. Our server, Cassie, has been there for a long time, and was right on top of everything. It was slow... Mid Sunday afternoon, but we know they can get busy. There is a large parking lot, as well as outdoor seating. If new to the area, you could miss it... The plaza sign is covered with overgrowth, so watch closely!!

Being my first time here I was pleased with the view as it was a lovely day to be by the water. We had a 45 minute wait for our table. Though you're able to go to the bar seating around in the back where we waited for our table. We ordered our delicious drinks as we had a wait time. I ordered the pain killer drink which was so delicious and strong. Only drinks and can't order appetizers though which I was disappointed as I didn't have anything to eat prior and I started to feel my drink. Once your buzzer is called you finally get your table which they have 15 tables available. The hostess in this area escorts your party to your table. There really isn't a bad seats there. There is a separate waitress for the bar area so you have to settle your bar table before moving over to your table. The menu has a plentiful of meals to choose from. I went with the fish & chips which was a good amount of cod. Also we had the oysters to start off with. The food was very delicious. We declined with the deserts as we were full. If you haven't been to the Dog Fish Cafe you should as you won't be disappointed with the fresh seafood they serve there.

Warmly summer day, sitting outside under the umbrella and watching the comings and goings of the dock. Awesome! We had a wonderful lunch. And a blueberry crisp special was shared by all. We will make the trek here again!

And sadly I have yet to find anything close to New York style here in Westerly. And I know that Domino's is NO New York slice. But I don't want to pay $20 for a sub par pie. I'm going to stick with Domino's and their $6.99 medium 2 topping pies. Tonight I got 3 medium 2 topping pies, an order of 32 piece Parmesan bread bites, and an order of (3) chocolate lava cakes. All for $40.18. All of the pies are customizable. Not only dozens of topping options but also you can have different sauce bases and also having different toppings on each half. Great for families with smaller kids with smaller appetites. No need to get a whole pie for each topping. I also love the sausage that they use. I miss the old sausage but this is all good too. I like that they use fresh mushrooms here. No soggy, tin tasting mushrooms here. The pineapple is drained very well so no soggy pizza. Many other places that I've ordered Hawaiian pizza from seem to crack open a can of pineapple just for my pizza- and it ends up so soggy. Another plus is the herb garlic crust. Huge upgrade! I know it sounds silly- but the loaded tots are really good. I got it for my youngest but of course I had to give them a try. You know. For science. And Yelp. lol. Usually when you eat out and order tater tots they're usually deep fried. These are thrown in the oven along with what ever toppings you choose. They're really perfect. Their sandwiches are on a hard crusty bread if that's your thing. Also their pasta are ok. Just saying. Domino's is a great option for big crowds, picky eaters, those on a budget, or anyone wanting to try a new flavor.

The GPS led us to a parking lot, with a good number of spots and Nana's was 20 steps away. They do have a patio with a few tables but because it was raining, we went straight inside. When we arrived, there were only a couple parties seated, but by the time we were mid-way through our meal / leaving, the place was packed. Our server helped us with understanding some of the items on the menu and also warned us about some of the iteme they didn't have, like pepperoni, mushrooms, and donuts. With that in mind, we ordered risotto balls to start and the pesto egg and cheese sandwich (baked fresh eggs, pesto, cheddar cheese, lemon aioli, brioche roll) and Dijon and lemon chicken salad sandwich (slow roasted chicken thighs, lemon aioli, herbs, local greens, pickles, and side of fries) for the main meals. The Yaupon iced tea caught our attention since it has indigenous tea with rotating fruit fusion so we ordered one just to try it. The risotto balls came out a little sooner than the other items. We loved the crispy outside, but not a huge fan of the inside since it was mostly risotto with not enough cheese or something to glue it all together. The sauce tasted like a fancy marinara - it was tart, lightly sweet, but a tad acidic and herby too. In our minds, we imagined our main plates looking differently, but I think it was mostly because we didn't do a good job of reading the menu. The pesto sandwich was good. The eggs reminded us a lot of a quiche-spongey and light. It did not have a strong pesto flavor. The roll seemed homemade; it was good and airy. The Dijon lemon chicken salad sandwich was okay. The chicken thighs chunks were tender, and I could definitely taste the pickles, lemon, and Dijon. I think it needed more salt or even something sweet to balance out the acidic flavors. The bread was well toasted. The fries were delicious with the right amount of salt, crispiness, and variety. The iced tea was not our favorite as it tasted overly sweet which might've removed any fruit flavor. The staff was very attentive, they have lots of tables and high chairs to choose from, and lots of natural sun coming through the large windows.
