The inside of the restaurant is bright and also very roomy you're not sitting right next to another table. Service was excellent after we were seated we immediately brought menus asked what we wanted to drink and our server was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The food is very good portions are tremendous. Definitely worth the ride there. I had the half wedge salad with Gorgonzola cheese that was yummy and made for another meal the next day. We always hit Evie's when we're down in the area. We're fans of their other restaurants because they're always consistently good experiences. The menu is solid and has something for everyone, all while not being generic pub food you find everywhere else (looking at you, Steak Bomb Naan). The staff here is great and I've never personally encountered the bitch that Paul S. is talking about (thanks Yelp for refusing to remove that review even though it sounds like it was written by a 9 year old). Parking: large lot share with other businesses Decor: feels like an upscale diner inside and very clean and lots of space including a patio area. Staff: very friendly and remembers guests and their preferences which is a great attribute to help bring people back! Food: I had the rice bowl and added chicken and it was amazing! The chicken bites appetizer were so fresh, not too crispy but just right. The French fries were cooked in clean oil and salted perfectly. Went to evies 6/30/26 at 530 pm for a cocktail and dinner sat at bar bartender is very rude. Second time we had to deal with her gave her the benefit of the doubt first time this time she completely ignore us had a drink. She never came over to ask what we wanted for dinner. All she did was talk to her friends that were on the other side of the bar. So we decided to just have a drink and we left without dinner. Debbie our server was friendly, attentive and overall a happy person. Local beers on the tap list with great prices. We both ordered the Steak Bomb Naan with French fries. Very generous portions. Our plates were full of delicious fries. The naan was loaded with shaved steak, roasted red peppers, sautéed onions and mushrooms, pepper jack cheese and chipotle aioli. Delicious! Normally I hate to complain, I've worked in the food industry and I understand things change, however being charged 17.50 for a grilled cheese that didn't fit the description is insane. Brie prosciutto roasted red pepper arugula and balsamic. The only 2 ingredients that are actually I there is the brie and red peppers. The prosciutto is just ham and the arugula is spinach and no balsamic to be seen. Yes I do enjoy the sandwich but it's definitely not worth what they're asking. read more

What a hidden gem! Well, not hidden...it's very visible off the main road...but after 3 years in Westerly we finally stopped in for the first time and WOW! Ambience is a 10/10, I loved the funky wallpaper, comfortable stylish seating, and oversized family photos. We started with the Buffalo wings and let me tell you...the pickle brine is TOP TIER. You could really taste/feel the tenderized effect on the meat with just a hint of dill underneath the spicy but not too spicy sauce. I had the Evie's burger with truffle fries for my main, the burger was delicious and the sesame seed bun was super fresh. The food is excellent there. I had the cast iron cottage pie. A very generous portion is provided and it is a meal in itself. I'll also mention that our waitress Heather, who was very friendly and professional, but she was also very accommodating. I wanted the cast-iron dish which wasn't on the menu at the time I visited there because it was a brunch menu. But she was kind enough to ask and the Kitchen was able to accommodate. I would recommend that you visit there for brunch, lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed. read more

Ordered the fish tacos, immediately when brought to the table they were covered in oil and accompanied by a sauce that did not complement the fish whatsoever. It was extremely heavy, fries were incredibly greasy and soggy. Fish did not seem fully cooked, and someone at the table also ordered the shrimp tacos, to which the shrimp was also very undercooked. Seemed like they took cocktail shrimp and just threw it on. Next morning I woke up with the worst food poisoning I've ever experienced, lasted a total of two days. Found this gem while traveling for work. Fun atmosphere (came in on a Wednesday and didn't know they do trivia every Wednesday), but the food and service are really the stars. Our server (Hannah) was incredible. She was fast, friendly and made wonderful recommendations. The kitchen staff did great, as the food was not only delicious, but came out quickly and perfect. Had a special tonight of spring salmon with peas, pasta and micro greens , an amazing flavor combination!! Was excited to try Evie's when a friend had mentioned there was a new place in Westerly. The decor is cool and I just love the center bar with comfy stools. I actually heard someone else commenting on the chairs around the bar and how she loved them too. I was visiting during a peak time and it was too loud. I was struggling to hear our server and my friend that I was there with. They have a beautiful outdoor area that has a fence so it blocks the parking lot so it seems more intimate. We grabbed two seats at the bar but it seemed like they were turning tables pretty quickly for a busy evening. We had great service and our servers at the bar were friendly and attentive. I loved Mitchell! The drinks are great. The menu is small but has some good options. I ordered a garden salad with house made balsamic dressing and the beef stroganoff. The salad was fresh and I really liked the dressing. The stroganoff was good but I was expecting a different kind of flavor like more beef gravy ish. It wasn't bad it was just different than beef stroganoff that I've had. It was good just different than what I'm used to. The real hit of the night tho was the pumpkin bread dessert suggested by our server. Topped with ice cream and whipped cream which is the perfect combination. It was delicious.
