    Pitcher of Blackberry Margarita!
    Dwayne H.

Okay we went here after going to the miracle theater across the street. Now the service was slow, I ate like 2 1/2 helpings of free Salsa & Chips before we actually got our food. But let me tell you the food was Sooooooo Gooooood once we got it. Because I ate so much before my main course that after I finished the main course which was three Jerk Chicken Tacos.... I had the meat sweats + we had drinks too of course. Overall the food was delicious as well as the Salsa that came with the Chips. It has an upstairs dining room as well, and part of it is outside which was pretty cool. But like I said; The food & drinks was bomb, So you'll definitely be doing your stomach some justice. My only beef is that we waited along time for our food, but other than that it was a good food experience!

A fun spot with a rooftop! Unfortunately, we weren't able to enjoy the rooftop because it became very crowded by a large party. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the lower level. Happy Hour drinks prices were under $10, a steal! They offered HH bites but were limited on what was available. However, the menu was also under $10. Our waiter worked really hard as did the busboy, but sadly some of the food came out extremely late and some of the drinks were forgotten. And while this part of the service can be improved, I would say that their drinks and food were enjoyable. House Margarita: refreshing and delicious Chicken tacos: the flavor on the chicken was incredible Aside from the poor service, which we heard they are in the process of improving, I would visit again and see whether it's worth my continued support.

First stop on our Cinco Demayo journey...Great place for out of the gate. Relaxed environment, with b p th adults and children. Full Bar, with broad choice of foods. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious...our challenge was to keep some room in our stomachs to be able to eat and drink at the next few stops. We managed to beat the crown...we had reservations and was immediately seated upon arrival. They provide guacamole and chips (free) once seated...by the way it was absolutely delicious...clearly made in house and served warm. There was off street parking....However, it is DC a few blocks from Navy Yard...so if driving, pack your patience. Definitly calls for a repeat visit. BTW, the wings ...let me put it this way...I would drive there just to get an order of the wings.

Smoked Beef Birria Burrito, rice, black beans and maduros

I was culture shocked with the smoked bbq birria meat which usually you have the dipping sauce that's called consume but they didn't have it with this taco. So biting into it was a shocker but not in a bad way, just a surprise that it was bbq. Will I eat it again? Maybe. Will I go out my way to eat it again? No. The drink was delicious, I was driving and very happy that I had an option to have no alcohol in it

Came here with a friend for Happy Hour (4pm to 7pm btw) and really enjoyed it! They have frozen Margaritas for $5 all day until Oct 31st. We have been sipping on those since we've been here. The service here is great. Wait staff is very attentive & kind (our server is Dan/ Daniel). The ambiance is pretty typical of a Mexican restaurant. But I do love the nod to Mexican professional wrestling (lucha libre). As a wrestling fan, I greatly appreciate it. We only ordered the Ceviche. My friend wasn't a fan but I did enjoy it a bit more. I think if it was less sweet (without tangerine in it), it would be awesome. It's walking distance from Eastern Market metro station so it would be ideal to go that route. I will likely come here again to explore thw menu.

Mondays and Tuesdays are the best as it's all day Happy Hour! The chicken wings are great, no matter the flavor but mango habanero is the common best. Tacos are good too. The ambiance is active and festival on happy hour days or times. My favorite bartender is Thirteen (13)- he is busy always but he is a in the biz guy. Drinks are served well, strong and the food gets in quick. If he likes you, you are good. On game days, it gets packed and there is an eclectic mix of people coming in. Overall, I recommend this place at busy times to talk to people or not and you can stay to yourself and see other quiet people.

    Pork belly tacos. So good!!!

Edgar was fantastic!! We had such a great meal and the service was excellent. We brought our two kids and they loved the Mac n cheese and chicken tenders. It was honestly some of the best Mac n cheese I've had! I got the spicy margarita (so good) and the pork belly tacos. They had a delicious, spicy and sweet glaze and the meat was so tender. Their rice and beans are also perfect. Highly recommend!

We visited The Flying Mexican on Tuesday evening for a taco Tuesday outing. We arrived at 5pm to a fairly empty restaurant. We were seated immediately at a small half booth in the front. There were only two servers and it took a long time to put in our drink order. We said we wanted tacos but she never came back, I had to flag her down. While we waited I noticed the small plates on our table had hair on them so we asked for new plates and when those came they had food stuck to them ... definitely not a good impression. My partner then ordered a double on the rocks the double came with no rocks and no lines and we never got to order. By 6:48 we made the decision to take our food to go and close out. We went with the shrimp fajita and jerk chicken tacos to go, both weee excellent buuuuuut probably would have been better in the restaurant! I would return for the tacos but be sure to order everything at once. They had a pretty extensive happy hour and the place gets packed!

The food was amazing! My friend and I stopped in one random evening. The bartender and owner suggested a few things for us. We enjoyed it all! The queso was amazing! The drinks were tasty. The lighting was nice and low but enough to allow you to see everything. I would definitely go back again soon!

Definitely 10/10! Both Nuvia and Bryan have excellent customer service, they are friendly and helpful! They gave excellent suggestions, and did not stir us in the wrong direction. The drinks were delicious and Bryan is innovative with his shots and mixes! The steak is amazing!! the music is good! Definitely will be back!!

We ordered the Mac and cheese bites but they did not have any Mac.. it was just fried cut up mozzarella sticks. Which is great.. if that's what it was called on the menu. We also ordered a fried chicken sandwich and a pub burger. The chicken sandwich was fine. The pub burger was ... meh. The pretzel bun they brought out was over toasted and looked like it was pretty dry before that. Like it was HARD. No one came to check on us after the food arrived so I had to take my plate to the check out desk to address the issue. Cait took care of it right away; I asked for just a new bun - I don't mind swapping it out myself. But in the end the burger was still just meh. Almost forgot to mention the fries .. not great. They were salted well but the fries themselves were almost chewy. When we checked out, Cait said apologized and mentioned some staffing issues. She offered to get in touch with some sort of compensation but didn't offer to waive our one beer. We left paying full price for everything. Again, fine spot if you just wanted to hang out and drink beer.

The customer service is attentive and friendly. The wings and Walkers Smash Burger were a disappointment in the flavor department. The burger was bland and the wings did not have good texture. I like that Walters has adequate and ample booth seating. There is indoor and outdoor seating options, with plenty of big screen televisions throughout the restaurant. On big game nights, you can see the game on multiple screens and from various vantages. The bar is centrally located and seemingly accommodating for the size of the venue. The one downside of this experience is the mens restroom was downright filthy. Apparently there was an overflow or clogged urinal which spilled all over the floor and created an unsanitary situation. Overall, a good experience and viable option that is closer to South Capitol Street and not deep in the heart of Navy Yard.

The bars and restaurants on the main level of this area are always packed - I don't think the masses know about this nice bar quite yet. This outdoor bar overlooks Nats stadium (you can see about 60-70% of the field ); the views are absolutely fantastic, especially on warm weather days. There are 6-10 bar seats at a long bar and another smattering of 6-8ish bar tables scattered on the rooftop. There are also some more unique lounge style seating which really makes the spot seem comfortable and relaxed. There are a couple TVs hung in the bar area which also makes this a great place to catch a football game on Sundays.
