They were great when they first opened up! Then the quality of their food went downhill, portion sizes got smaller and they took away some of the main things on the menu they were awesome like the meeker mansion sandwich. The food is alright, the service was ok. I went to The Forum as an out of town guest with a group of colleges here for a conference. We arrived around 4:30 pm being told it was happy hour until 6 pm. I ordered food and drink, later around 5:35 pm I ordered a second drink, whiskey, to sip on. We had other guest join our group, all out of town. After several attempts to contact our waitress, I asked for my check. When I received my check happy hour pricing was not honored. I question my waitress about the happy hour prices, she informed me that since I got my check after happy hour that happy hour could no longer be honored. I shared that everything I ordered was during happy hour and from the happy hour menu. The waitress stated its 7:35 pm and happy hour ended at 6 pm. Luv this part of downtown Puyallup loaded with stores, businesses and food establishments. Been to The Forum a few times so far and it is cozy and love the brick and wood esthetics. Some outdoor dining is also available at times. Shout out to Cindy as she has been our bartender each time so far. Service is fast, attentive and Cindy is super friendly and fun. The Mac & Cheese Balls are delicious, so is the Bruschetta (would luv less topping and more balsamic). Will be return again to try other menu items. read more

Service was nothing to brag about. We received everything we asked for, but when asked for clarification about their happy hour menu the waitress became snippy and sarcastic. Well we decided to order from The Forum on Uber Eats. So many issues wrong with our order. My husband asked for a burger with no toppings except for onions and he added mushrooms. He didn't get that at all. He got all the toppings without mushrooms. I had asked for a French dip with pepper jack cheese and onions. I didn't receive that either. My suggestion is to read what the customer wants. Forum you got one more chance to go before we ban your restaurant. Hopefully you read the ticket from now on! read more

Love this place. Foods always good- and they make sure to make you happy. Fun seasonal drinks- although I usually stick to the same- I have tried a few and they are really good. They infuse their spirits with all kinds of flavors (fresh apples, oranges etc...) right there at the bar in big jars. Hubby and I passed by this place everyday and it's always busy. People in line all the way from outside to wait to be seated. Went on our date night and thought we'd try this place. Came here with my sister for the first time, we have been to the Forum Downtown Tacoma. I think I enjoy this one much better, great atmosphere, great service, and great entrees... especially the drinks. The entrees and appetizers were delicious and the drinks are amazing. Love our waitress she's the best. Very friendly and have a varity of good music selections. Although they play more hip hop later in the night on the weekends. Fist time coming here since they rebuilt the place and it looks even better than before! Came in for lunch and the service and food of course are still amazing; I had the tater tot app, which comes with a side of ALL of their sauces (they're ALL GOOD!) and the Jucy Lucy for my entree, it was amazing. Drinks are great too, I had a couple of margaritas- I just wish they were bigger lol and tried their peach cider, which I'm not a big cider fan but this one is definitely worth a try, you won't regret it! Hubby and I came here for date night on a Friday night! The place is small and was packed literally (chairs are super close together) but we managed to get a table upstairs immediately which was great! Super cute bar with exposed brick... waitress was great, checking with us constantly and keeping our drinks full! It was super noisy and very hard to have a conversation because everyone was yelling trying to be heard... Even had to yell at the waitress to place our orders so she could hear us! We started with the Queso dip, unfortunately a small amount of luke warm dip and not much flavor to it either for the price... For entrees my husband had the fish n chips which he he said was good (not great) and I had the BLTE sandwich with fries. Fries were delicious, crispy and tasty but the sandwich was SO bland and definitely not stuffed with bacon as per the menu... (see pic) I had one rasher of bacon in each half! Lettuce was barely visible and what was there was soggy and I didn't even taste a tomato in it! The only good part of it was the bread... I had to add my ranch sauce to give it some flavor.... Do not order to go, dine in or take out from the Forum! I ordered through door dash, received my sandwich as ordered. It was cut in half and I took a big bite and as I was chewing, I bit down on something hard and started gagging and vomited. What I almost swallowed was a plastic bread tie. The WHOLE square plastic bread tie! I immediately called the forum to let them know and for a week and a half got the runaround that someone would call me back. First it was the manager (Christine)that never called then I was assured that the general manager would called(she didn't). Each time I spoke with someone it was because I reached back out to them! I was willing to give them a chance to at least refund my meal but after calling and talking to the general manager ( I believe her name is Janine?) she apologized and said she would refund my money through a gift card and that she would put it in the mail the next day. A week and a half has gone by and nothing! I'm a patient and forgiving guy but c'mon man! Next call is to the health department! I cannot recommend this restaurant for their food OR service. I usually like the Forum, have been there many times over the years. Decided to meet my 2 friends for happy hour on a Wednesday. It was a nice day, so we sat outside. The server (I wish I had asked for his name) brought us drinks, then took our food orders. About 10 minutes later he comes back to tell us that he "forgot" that they did not have taco meat for the 2 taco salads that we ordered. Didn't even bring back the menus so we could choose something else. I sent him back to grab the menus, and we ordered something else (fish and chips). Meanwhile, he brought out the food that my other friend had ordered, but no silverware. She asked for silverware, and plates so that she could share with us while we waited for our food. We proceeded to wait for another 10 minutes. I finally walked in to ask again. There were maybe 3 other people in the entire restaurant (they were not busy), and the server was just standing behind the bar chatting with the bartender!! I asked for the plates and silverware, and he finally went back and grabbed them. I also asked for water, which I carried out myself. Our fish and chips finally arrived, and the fish was disgusting; mushy and salty. My friend and I could not even eat it. My friend ordered another drink, and it never arrived. The next time the server came by we asked him about it, and he said "oh yeah, sorry", and went back in to put in her drink order. We finally asked for our checks, and I let the server know how bad the fish was, but he clearly didn't care. $18 for nothing. Horrible experience!!!! read more

First off, this was our first time here. Amazing service to start out by (Leesie) (sp). Paid our tab and Jessica took over. Carl, the main owner, was completely welcoming. Both my husband and I was impressed by the professional attitude. The professional attitude and amazing service makes this place a must frequent. The VIP room offers a great option at a reasonable price for anyone who wants to make a special occasion more impressive. Myself, being a bartender, even more pressed by the service and the food. On a recent sojourn to Puyallup for my annual pilgrimage to the Sew Expo, I found myself wondering..."does anybody have a good happy hour around here?" So I turned to my trusty Yelp app and The Forum came up on top of the list. It was only a few blocks from the Expo, and since the weather was nice I wandered on down and found myself a seat. Surprisingly, there were a lot of other ladies there from the Expo - gotta love sewing *and* drinking! I enjoyed a Cosmo and a couple of their yummy appy's - the deep fried mac & cheese balls were HUGE and so filling. And the bruschetta was delicious, too. As I was leaving to head back to the hotel and finish up a couple of seams, a band was setting up to play live music. Wow how I cannot say enough good things about this place. First, the staff is always friendly, welcoming and efficient. The Manager is amazing, he is constantly doing things, helping out, making drinks, greeting people as they come, shaking their hands as they leave. He takes pride in what he does. Second, the location is great. Perfectly placed in the heart of down town puyallup. Not very far from the fair, and great is when your walking around town and need a bit to eat. This place has a wonderful selection of food, I have never had anything bad here. Never. Third, they pour their Guinness perfectly every time. Their drinks are always on point. And, may I add their bloody marys are excellent. Only place around doing what they are doing with bloody marys. Good price, and good ingredients. They make their own spices, the food they put on the bloody marys are very good. I have had the mini burger bloody Mary, the supreme and shared the pizza. All good. Also, they have poutine. Only place I have found that serves poutine. Beers always cold, constantly trying new beers, and always keeping local staples on tap. I really hope one day they get left hand nitro milk stout on tap. I have suggested it, and last time they seemed interested. If they did, I don't think I'd ever leave. I go here on weekly basis. Literally the best bar in town. They cater to everyone's needs. From kill the keg Tuesdays, walking dead viewing nights, karaoke nights, Saturday night 90's music, any sports you v want to watch they will turn to, happy hour everyday. *review from MULTIPLE deliveries. (Haven't dined in) We first started ordering The Forum about 7 months ago! It was amazing! Of course the fries are soggy and the burgers but we understand the quality dwindles a little with delivery. We still kept ordering. Last time we ordered (about 2 months ago) we received my patty melt and it had onions when I specifically requested none. It sucked, I couldn't eat it. After that we stopped ordering because it just wasn't worth the $60 for 2 meals to be delivered wrong. We decided to try again tonight, I got the French dip, from the description ON the menu it does not say onions. Well mine was smothered in onions. I can't stand onions, and I cannot eat them. ALSO they just threw in tator tots instead of fries? I don't understand how you mix those up when I chose fries. Boyfriends patty melt is actually raw on the inside. We never had these problems before. Maybe new kitchen staff from 6 months ago? I'm not sure. But we can't continue to order from a place that deliberately does not care about their customers. Who would have thought a downtown Puyallup bar for the World Cup would end up such a great experience? The new bartender, Karl the Irishman, did an awesome job of balancing the bar, mixing great drinks, telling jokes, serving food, and making us feel welcome on a day where the bar was full of soccer fans. My salad was huge and delicious with the in house made salad dressing-which I really appreciated! I told Karl I wanted a drink that tasted good but wasn't filled with calories-he came through and everyone at our table ended up ordering that same drink!
