I have been here twice for events. Once for a baby shower and once for a baptism. The staff is friendly and the space is very cute. Their wine selection is great! The parties I went to were catered from SALTED nearby which was great. I'd love to go back if I'm in the area.

I haven't been here in ages, even though it's so close by. It's under new ownership, same owner as Salted on the harbor which is a fav of mine as well. I stopped by and grabbed a drink after work and it was quite delicious. The drink was for the record. It's gin with lychee so you know, that was what I was going to pick. The place has changed since I've been there and for the better, there are tables along one wall, and a nice bar on the side. They have cocktails as well as wine and food picks, plus on alternating days they have Salted's full menu and Maroni's menus to pick from. I liked the vibe. It was very warm and cozy. The young lady at the bar was friendly. I'm sure I'll be back multiple times.

Nice bar atmosphere with small bites and drinks. There were a variety of drink options, but limited menu for vegetarian folks. Good spot for large groups or date at the bar. Service is good. Street is nice for walks or visiting other food places nearby after getting some drinks here.

    Pistachio spread and Pinot noir

After walking around town on a beautiful afternoon, grabbing drinks at the brewery and dinner up the block we decided to pop in for a night cap but ended up ordering a couple small plates too and let me tell you I would run from Babylon back to this place for that pistachio spread. The bartender described it as a pistachio Nutella spread and she was spot on. It was creamy and delicious-don't let the appearance fool you tho cuz it looks like baby vomit smeared on a plate but it was soo good. It came with mini toasts to dip. We also got the burrata which came with toast and prosciutto-that could have used a balsamic glaze though but it was half off apps on Tuesdays so that was a nice surprise. I got a Pinot Grigio and my friend got a Pinot noir. Staff was very friendly and there's nice romantic vibe inside. I would come again for dinner.

Wow. Atmosphere is a 10. Menu is a 10. Service is a 10. FOOD? 11. My FULL review of The Wine Cellar on Main. Came here with my hubby, and our babysitter (and her wonderful family!) - to celebrate her graduation. Congrats Kara! Overall the bites and wine were wonderful. The selection was bountiful. The waitress expertly assisted us in choosing the perfect glass. Thoroughly enjoyed the descriptive captions with each wine. The food was truly amazing. We loved the spinach dip, pretzels, and the prohibition pizza. Kissing that chef! Lol!!!! Will be back soon. Thank you for a wonderful celebration.

Wine bar on main Cute little wine bar on Main Street In Northport. We ordered a glass of Sauvignon blanc and Chardonnay from Napa. Hummus is not the best as advertised but it's good enough. It could be a little less acidic No gluten free crackers:( Guitar player on Sunday evening starting at 6 pm is a welcome addition to the cool wine vibe - [ ] Overall a solid C/3 stars

Amazing spot in Northport with a great wine selection! I'll start by saying I'm not the most seasoned wine drinker. I came here with the lady a couple of weeks ago and we both enjoyed the stop. There was a guy playing his guitar as we walked in. We sat at the bar in the back. Lindsay (owner/operator) was behind the bar and was very helpful. She walked me thru all the different wine options she had. I got to sample about 5-6 different wines on the menu. Unfortunately, we didn't get to order any food but there's a decent number of small plates to munch on. I'd definitely come back to explore some of the food options. Overall a really cool experience and will be back!

Could not say more good things about The Wine Cellar! They have been AWESOME during COVID and I really love going. They have been great with enforcing social distancing inside and they have cute tables outside in the alley way too. The staff is always so friendly and I love the vibe. Always a great spot!

I spoke to a woman in the bathroom and she said even if you don't have a reservation, you can always find a spot on the grass or chairs. There's plenty of room to hang out. Our server Les was incredible! You can tell when you have a great experienced waiter that is truly good at their job and love what they do! Pay him whatever he wants and never let him go! He truly made the dining experience above and beyond. I ordered the Sauvignon Blanc and he asked me if I wanted a glass or a bottle and I told him I couldn't drink a bottle because I had to drive home. He told me if I was gonna have two glasses. It would end up being about equal to the bottle price and that I could take the rest of the wine home! What a nice surprise, and the fact that he pointed out made me feel like he goes above and beyond for his customers! Now let's talk about the food! I was in a party of three and they had ordered the appetizer sandwich for the table which was gigantic! Both of the other guests love the sandwich, but I didn't try it because I do not like prosciutto. The truffle chips were fantastic; I'm still thinking about them and I didn't even know I liked truffle! I ate 90% of them. The portions are massive but in a good way because the food is exceptional! One guest was so full from the sandwich that she opted to not order an entrée I ordered the margarita flatbread and it had to be over a foot and a half long. I ended up taking half home and my husband ate it and said it was delicious as well. The other guest ordered the meatballs and I tasted them and they were quite delicious. By the time the meal was over we left with half a sandwich half a flatbread and some extra meatballs. For dessert: we got a llimoncello flute and I got the largest lemon beautifully presented with lemon sorbet! I told us I don't usually take pictures of my food, but this was photo worthy! The wine was one of my favorite Sauvignon Blanc that I've ever had in my life! We will definitely go back for the food and definitely will be purchasing the wine again! 4/5 food 10/5 for the service and ambience Thank you for a wonderful experience on a beautiful afternoon! Overall, ranking above five just due to the experience

The potato was pretty good took. I didnt mind so much grass (lettuce) for once. The cheese on top of the lettuce is pretty salty but the creamy dressing balances it out. The spicy sauce on the side was way too spicy for me. 3/5 Bavarian pretzel $17- pretzel itself is standard, comes with honey mustard, spicy brown mustard, & mayo sriracha. I liked both of the mustards. 3/5 Meat & cheese board $59- didn't try the meat or bread but comes with grapes, cranberries, dates, olives & nuts. Everything I tried was decent.

The restaurant was busy, and they offered valet parking, which made arrival easy. When we arrived, our table wasn't ready yet, but the staff kindly asked if we wanted high-top tables by the bar, which we declined. The bar area is quite expansive and has a cozy feel, so I'm not sure why I didn't recognize the restaurant from my previous visit. Once seated, we were promptly approached by our server, who took our drink orders with promptness and friendliness. One thing that hasn't changed is the restaurant's lively atmosphere. Its noisy and can be difficult to hear each other, especially if you're sitting near a crowded table enjoying sangria. The lively ambiance is part of the experience, but it does make conversation a bit challenging. For our meal, I ordered the Lobster Meat & Shrimp in garlic sauce, which I found to be very flavorful. My partner ordered the Chicken Lemoine, and she enjoyed it very much. Overall, our dining experience was pleasant, and the service was excellent throughout the evening. Sangria 71, I will most definitely return for Happy Hour.

Our waiter, Steve, was incredible, and the entire staff couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. I believe Rich, the owner, stopped by our table several times to make sure everything was perfect, which added such a personal touch. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, like stepping onto the set of an old-world Italian movie. The soft Italian music, warm lighting, and elegant atmosphere made for a perfect dining experience. The drinks were spot on. I had two Belvedere vodkas on the rocks with martini olives, and they were perfectly prepared. The specials all sounded tempting, but the regular menu offers more than enough outstanding choices, with an impressive selection of pasta, chicken, veal, and seafood dishes. We started with the Insalata Mista, featuring romaine, Boston lettuce, chicory, radicchio, tomatoes, and anchovies, along with roasted peppers and anchovies. I can never get enough anchovies. For our entrées, we shared a bone-in chicken special served with a rich Gorgonzola cream sauce, and a simple but perfectly executed linguine with garlic and oil. Sometimes the simplest dishes are the most satisfying. Dessert was outstanding--a slice of rainbow cake served with zabaglione, fresh blueberries, and whipped cream, accompanied by two flawless cappuccinos. Yes, the food was outstanding. Yes, the service was outstanding. And yes, the atmosphere was outstanding. But what really sets this place apart is something that's hard to describe: the vibe. It's warm, authentic, welcoming, and just feels old world special. Years ago, my favorite restaurant on Long Island was Caracalla on Jericho Turnpike in Syosset. Sadly, it burned down in 2013, and I've been searching ever since for a restaurant that could fill that void. Nothing ever did--until now. Sempre Vivolo has officially earned that spot. It has become my new favorite restaurant on Long Island, and I can't wait to go back.
