I reached out to them YET AGAIN after another week and instead of communicating about my vehicle she wanted to argue about the bad review I left stating they attempted to call me. I printed out my phone logs just to further prove my point that during this entire fiasco they have attempted to call me only once. I sat in their office having a face-to-face conversation with them stating that the cosmetics mean nothing to me I need my vehicle to operate mechanically and safely just as it did before I was hit. Weeks go by and still no word. Once again I call them and I was told was that they completed cosmetic work prior to even looking at the mechanical work and were still waiting to assess the mechanical portion. On what planet would a mechanical shop perform cosmetic work prior to any mechanical work?! What if the car is totaled? I mean, I'm just a mechanic too, What do I know? We have now started a brand new year. It's a week in to 2025 and the last time I have heard about my car was at the beginning of December. If you want your car fixed correctly and in a timely manner, do not bring your car here.. I wouldn't wish this place on my enemies. Lessons learned.

Found Haynie's Garage while looking to replace an auxiliary battery on my Dodge Durango. I had the…read moremain battery replaced at a Valvoline in Lewisville. Valvoline replaced on the main battery and failed to strap it back down where it sits under the passenger seat. That's how Haynie's found it. So this cause out Durango to not start properly due to not having the auxiliary battery. I called Haynie's garage and a really nice guy answered and when I explained what I needed he went into all this detail what that auxiliary battery does. I had no clue. Found out I was talking the owner Chris. Super nice and absolutely knowledgeable. They close at 5:30pm and I got there at 4pm for the battery and to have my oil changed. No problem. I didn't ask for the oil change til I arrived and he said he had literally just used the last oil filter on a Jeep but would get one right over and was apologetic. That was absolutely fine with me and I didn't mind waiting. Chris also told me that he found my battery was not strapped down from Valvoline. This garage is off a dirt road since he moved to this newer location. His shop is sits off the road but it's still easy to find with a GPS. It's worth the trip. Haynie's Garage is absolutely awesome. I will only take my vehicles here from now on.

In short, this Brakes Plus location isn't very punctual, they do a mediocre job with their work,…read moreand they aren't completely honest with you. To elaborate, I got my rear brakes, rotors, and calipers replaced at the end of May/start of June because they'd been grinding for a while. I called ahead to see what the wait would be and was told there wasn't much of a wait, but I pulled in to see that their wait list was overflowing into the neighboring Starbucks' parking lot. After dropping off and waiting for over 4 1/2 hours, they finally give me an update, tell me they'll have to hold my truck overnight, and say they'll call around 11:00AM to give me the OK to pick up. At 11:15 the next day, I call up there because I hadn't heard anything, and they tell me it's gonna be another 20-30 minutes and that they'll call me when it's ready. At 1:00PM, I call again because they still hadn't gotten back to me, and they tell me that it'd been ready for about an hour. I get over there, pick it up, and go about my day. About a month later, I start hearing a grinding again, so I take my truck back to them. Again, I called ahead to see what the wait would be, and they tell me that they could check it out pretty much right when I get there. I drop it off and see there's only a few other cars and figure they're being legit this time. I don't hear anything for almost three hours, and when they finally call, they tell me that the rear left brake pads were installed backwards, so they had to replace the calipers and pads once again. Furthermore, they found a few new things that need to be replaced (which they somehow missed when I brought it in a month prior), so I forked out a few hundred extra dollars on some of that. They let me know when it was ready to go this time, so I went back about 40 minutes later and picked it up, thinking I wouldn't have to do anything else on my brakes for a while. Cut to last week. I'm pulling out of a parking lot and hear a completely different grinding noise from before coming from the rear again. I pull over to check it out, and my rear right caliper has fallen off and is grinding against the wheel itself. Both bolts holding it in place apparently came undone and popped out. I thankfully have a cousin whose a mechanic (who I probably should've gone to in the first place) and he gave me a temporary remedy for the situation and told me how to fix it once I have the right parts. I won't be going back to Brakes Plus because you'd think for a place with "Brakes" in their name, they'd do a better job of servicing and installing them. I actually learned how to replace my front brakes myself about a week after they replaced my rears, and I've had no issues with them thus far, and as a first-time brake technician, I don't think I should be outperforming the trained professionals who've been doing this for years. While the evidence is very circumstantial, it really feels like they do a subpar job just to get you to come back and charge more for other services. I will say, though, that I'm giving them two stars and not just one because the techs are very personable when you talk to them at the counter, they did cover the brakes they replaced after having installed them wrong, and they knocked almost $100 off of my initial brake replacement. However, when I pay $865 for someone to fix my brakes, I want it to be done right the first time.

At this time, the shop foreman was a very kind man named Danny Starnes, and he wrote a estimate for a frontal bumper and collision repair, and I had the eventual work dent repair done by technicians employed by the Autobody Brand and was pleasantly surprised by the superior end result. Now I am thirty five years older and still have a great future ahead, but I have a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan that has a nasty dent on the sliding entry door and I would eventually like to have repaired and color matched up as close as possible. I had a life changing brush with a deadly virus called Meningoccocemia, and instantly became a deaf quadrilateral amputee halfway around the world, in Christchurch, New Zealand, where I was an Organizational Behavior and Management Lecturer, teaching university undergraduate students in Commerce. I returned to Houston, Texas, where I received the technical training and physical therapy for my life back home in north Denton, Texas, 446 Strata Dr., Denton, Texas 76201. Special thanks to Matt and TJ (I learned the name of the painter) for repairing and repainting my new-to--me BMW 330i ZHP just right! Not two days after I bought this beauty from a friend, some low-life POS here in Denton keyed it. But since I needed a front bumper repaint and a dent fix on another door, it just got done all at the same time. Just like my front end repaint of my 1998 4Runner (below), Mat was willing to work with me on lowering my out of pocket cost as much as possible by allowing me to remove body parts to allow me to save on labor and reinstallation costs that the shop would charge. This actually allowed me to remove the black door and front bumper protection parts (black strips) and recondition them with a graphene-type black coating. Just like last time, Mats and crew did a solid job. I opted not to blend the rear passenger door panel to save a grand or so and they still did an excellent paint match! The key scratches along the passenger door are all gone as is the dent that the previous owner's wife put in it. Also, I had Mats and team paint the front bumper as it was faded pretty bad, and lastly there were a bunch of white door dings caused again by the PO's wife. Oh, the shop also does mechanic work. They fixed the rear passenger door's window regulator and now the window works as it should. The car looks AMAZING. She'll be a garage queen for sure for now and I have a bunch of little things I need to do to get it perfect. But again, the paint job is fantastic, the service was great, and the communications by all parties kept me informed and happy. My beloved 1998 4Runner (owned since 2000) spent most of its life in CA and has been one of the best vehicles I've owned and has taken me to far off places but has reliably performed on the day-to-day stuff that life threw at me. Needless to say though at 275K miles, I didn't want to break the bank getting it painted. I called about 7 different places and 5 of them never returned calls so I went to Carstars because it was close to my work place. Mats understood that I am a car guy and take pride in this vehicle. He allowed me to remove some exterior parts that I knew how to do to save on money, and I really appreciated that. From there, he and the crew there turned my vehicle over to me in about 8-9 days. The paint looks great! Oh, the prior paint job from an autobody place in CA had delaminated at the 10 year mark as they said it would, so this was a repaint. Anyways back to the paint job, I don't see a single flaw and I hope it lasts as long as they say it will. So far so good, no complaints. Highly recommend that you talk with Mats! I've attached a bunch of before and after shots though the after shots do not have the fender flares and the antenna back on as I'm waiting for parts.

Brought in my 64 corvette {c2 corvettes are a challenge to work on, so had issues finding someone…read morethat would work on it}, it was pulling hard to left when braking, I had guessed it was a front right piston, so left the parts with them and the car. They are busy, but were able to get started on it the first day, and found it was not the front piston after replacing. They were able to keep under covered parking while they worked through the possibilities, replaced rear pistons and some other needed parts along the way, and turned the rotors and it is now braking better than ever, and they did it all at a reasonable price. They are talented mechanics, I highly recommend them for any work needed, old or new cars.

As a woman many mechanics try and overcharge and tack on extra "issues", but not with this shop!! The first time I came here I had already changed my spark plugs twice (around $200+ each) and each time they would malfunction within a month or two. The last time I got them changed I went to AutoPro about a year ago and they have been great since! They work fast and have great prices! My second time was bc my alternator went out and even though Jose, one of the mechanics, was on vacation he helped me get my car towed and fixed within days! They have great customer service and are very professional! If you are looking for trustworthy mechanics who ACTUALLY FIX THE PROBLEM please go here!! Oh man, especially Jose, the owner. Amazingly great and understanding guy! And he knows his stuff without a second thought. I came to Texas from Louisiana on an evacuation order due to Hurricane Ida. It's 100 degrees outside and my a/c goes KAPUT! An entire 8 hour drive in this sweltering heat with no a/c. When I made it to Texas I decided to take my vehicle to a neighborhood Christian Brothers. They were nice people but their prices were just too high for what I could afford at such last minute notice. They ran diagnostics and told me that my HVAC blower motor needed replacement as well as the motor resistor. They quoted me almost $700 for the job and I just couldn't afford it. I called around and was guided to Jose at AutoPro. I told him my situation and immediately he swept into gear making me feel really confident about everything he was saying. The knowledge and kindness would've been enough but on top of it all he offered to do it for a MUCH LOWER labor cost!!! I was floored and immediately drove my vehicle to the shop. It didn't take but maybe 10 minutes tops for him to advise me that the estimate given by Christian Brothers wasn't necessary and that the only issue was my blower motor. That alone saved me and additional $200 off of the estimate. In no time he had me on the road in freezing cold air. I'm thinking about moving to Denton just to know I have him around if ever there is an issue. Really great, confident, laid back guy. It is IMPERATIVE that you do not hesitate to patronize AutoPro if you wish to be treated super humanely and with a great deal of compassion and honesty. They have my greatest gratitude for this.
