This place was closed for awhile but it has opened again under new management. We went there with my sister who is in a wheelchair. They were very accommodating and friendly. I never went to the restaurant before so I can't compare but we were all very pleased. We had the perch and the walleye and they were extremely tasty and cooked just right. The perch was especially tasty. Both dishes were breaded and I wish they would give a grilled option, hopefully in the future... I got their strawberry cider to drink and would not hesitate to order that again. I have never had it before, but I think it lived up to my expectations just based on the name. It is a little small inside for what is likely to be a favorite dining spot for many, but since a lot of people still think they're closed permanently, we had plenty of room. Still, by the time we left it was just about full inside. There is plenty of parking with a nice wheelchair ramp. There are things I can suggest, as I have, but I'm happy to give them 5 stars as is. read more

I am writing this review to get the attention of the management/owners. We have been going here for several years and were glad it re-opened under new management. We have had some great experiences there. But Sunday night was a nightmare. 1. The table had something spilled on it. We had to ask twice to get it cleaned up. 2. No silverware or napkins were supplied until we asked for them. Then the waitress said that it wasn't her job to get silverware & napkins. 3. Ordered Blue Moon draft, got bottled. 4. Soft drinks & appetizers were delivered at the same time. Beer took an extra 15-20 minutes. 5. Appetizer served without silverware or napkins. 6. Ordered a burger with white cheddar horseradish cheese (which was listed on the menu under extras as "white cheddar, horseradish" as if there were 2 items.) After we had been sitting there for a very long time, we were told they were out of that cheese. 7. It took over an hour from the time we sat down to get our food. 8. The fries for both myself and my husband were cold. 9. My Cheesesteak sandwich was ice cold by the time I got it. 10. Burger was ordered as medium, served as medium rare. 11. Asked for mayo with burger, served sour cream. The waitress said "Oh, that's mayo." 12. Asked for extra onion on the burger, did not get it. Waitress said she did not hear my husband ask for extra onion. 12. Both the Manager and the waitress said several times that they were very busy. Being very busy is not a good reason for poor service, cold food and incorrect orders. read more

The outside is not very inviting, but the inside is very nice. Lots of booths and tables and an outside area, with sports memorabilia everywhere. On a Friday night, they were very busy so it took awhile for a server to stop by. The menu is extensive, but pretty much sandwiches, salads, appetizers and flatbreads. The beer menu is extensive and at $3 for a bottle of beer, it's a steal. They have daily specials for sandwiches which are pretty good savings. I had my heart set on French onion soup, but the server said there were no soups available. Maybe they should block those items off the menu if they don't have soup. We settled on some Buffalo wings to share and I had a cheeseburger and fries. We waited a really long time for our wings and we knew that our sandwich would arrive at the same time, and they did. That drives me nuts. The reason I ordered an appetizer is I wanted to enjoy it BEFORE my meal. The wings were good and fairly meaty. My burger was cooked perfect, and the bun was fresh. The fries were fresh cut, but could have been cooked longer. Service was spotty, but with nobody wanting to work right now, we were happy to have someone serve us. read more

A fun little restaurant! Lots of Cleveland sports memorabilia on the walls. The food was pretty good! They had a lot of options for their menu. Burgers, wraps, pizza and more. Your typical bar food menu. A gluten free crust for the pizza was right in my wheel house! Casey was our waitress and she was fantastic! Very attentive, she brought my pizza out and it wasn't the gluten free crust. She said it didn't look right and brought it back. Good on her and the kitchen!! Five star meal tonight! Service was friendly and efficient. The food was awesome. Meaty and tender ribs slathered in sauce. Took 2/3 of the full rack home to enjoy tomorrow. Mac and cheese was some of the best with the flavor of multiple types of cheese. Thick fresh cut fries finished off the perfect rib meal. Ruben with homemade corned beef was great balance of traditional ingredients. One of the best I have had. Took half of it home too! Awfully sad To update this review. The last 3 times now that we have come here they have skimped on the fries BIGTIME! Used to be our favorite stop for a burger and fries, now it makes more sense to go somewhere else for the cost. So sad. This place is an old, locally owned pub. There aren't many tables. At least, that's what it seems like on a Monday around 1:00 when the place is packed. After I checked in at the hostess stand I was seated in a booth. Seems like the sandwiches and burgers are the winners here based on previous reviews. I read the description on the menu for the Reuben and it sounded like a winner. It arrived less than 10 minutes after I ordered with a side salad. The bread has a buttery exterior crunch. The filling seemed like it was grilled together and also created a nice texture crunch with the tips of the beef mingling with the sauerkraut. The perfect amount of sauce is on the sandwich so it balances the tang from the kraut without being overpowering. This is a well crafted sandwich. Very good. The side salad was a typical side salad. Arugula base with small diced tomatoes, onion, and a heap of shredded cheese blend on top. Ranch tasted homemade. I enjoyed the visit. The 70's rock music playing was a nice touch for a place that may have been started in the 70's. It's exactly what I was looking for today. read more

Went on a Saturday evening with some friends. First time we've been there absolutely no complaints. We had everything from the garlic cheese curds(very good). We used Yelp to find a hometown restaurant in Norwalk. The reviews were good so we gave it a whirl. The food did not disappoint. Wings are large and crispy. The french fries are thick cut and fresh. They were outstanding. Lake Erie perch was great and at a great price. Loved the train that goes around the entire dining room and bar. Nice hometown sports and Cleveland sports memorabilia. We were able to keep track of the playoff game during our dinner without it dominating the meal. We really enjoyed our dinner and will go back. Great holiday cocktails too. read more

Great beer, good food but not special. We waited for 20 minutes for a table for 6. After being seated, we waited another 20 minutes for someone to take our order. We got the 2 different types of egg rolls which were good but not special. The sauerkraut balls were very good-lots of creamy cheese flavor. Buffalo chicken wrap was just ok. Today was my 1st time eating food from this establishment. I ordered Ribs and 1/2 lbs burger for the boy. The Ribs are absolutely delicious the ribs are meaty the sauce is amazingly glazed with out of world taste My boy loved the great tasting burger very well put together he gave 4 star out of 5 on the burger he said it needs too be taller lol.
