    the inside of the restaurant

The outside is not very inviting, but the inside is very nice. Lots of booths and tables and an outside area, with sports memorabilia everywhere. On a Friday night, they were very busy so it took awhile for a server to stop by. The menu is extensive, but pretty much sandwiches, salads, appetizers and flatbreads. The beer menu is extensive and at $3 for a bottle of beer, it's a steal. They have daily specials for sandwiches which are pretty good savings. I had my heart set on French onion soup, but the server said there were no soups available. Maybe they should block those items off the menu if they don't have soup. We settled on some Buffalo wings to share and I had a cheeseburger and fries. We waited a really long time for our wings and we knew that our sandwich would arrive at the same time, and they did. That drives me nuts. The reason I ordered an appetizer is I wanted to enjoy it BEFORE my meal. The wings were good and fairly meaty. My burger was cooked perfect, and the bun was fresh. The fries were fresh cut, but could have been cooked longer. Service was spotty, but with nobody wanting to work right now, we were happy to have someone serve us.

A fun little restaurant! Lots of Cleveland sports memorabilia on the walls. The food was pretty good! They had a lot of options for their menu. Burgers, wraps, pizza and more. Your typical bar food menu. A gluten free crust for the pizza was right in my wheel house! Casey was our waitress and she was fantastic! Very attentive, she brought my pizza out and it wasn't the gluten free crust. She said it didn't look right and brought it back. Good on her and the kitchen!! A neat little place to check out if you are in the area!

Five star meal tonight! Service was friendly and efficient. The food was awesome. Meaty and tender ribs slathered in sauce. Took 2/3 of the full rack home to enjoy tomorrow. Mac and cheese was some of the best with the flavor of multiple types of cheese. Thick fresh cut fries finished off the perfect rib meal. Ruben with homemade corned beef was great balance of traditional ingredients. One of the best I have had. Took half of it home too! Finally, best ever homemade sauerkraut balls with a zippy homemade sauce. Splendid evening out! Come hungry.

5 stars for the service with Casey. Followed all Covid protocols. I had the grilled chicken sandwich without a bun with my all time favorite sweet potato fries. Not sure exactly what seasoning was on the chicken but it was tasty and the chicken was so tender!!

Family of 5 stopped. Super cute. Bar/food. Train decor with lots of Cleveland Swag. Lots of tvs for sports. Friendly atmosphere. Everyone's food was great. Service was okay. We will go back.

Brinner burger and their amazing hand cut fries. Love this place. Great food, great service, awesome atmosphere

Awfully sad To update this review. The last 3 times now that we have come here they have skimped on the fries BIGTIME! Used to be our favorite stop for a burger and fries, now it makes more sense to go somewhere else for the cost. So sad. Ps this picture was after the waitress said "I'll make sure you get extra fries" when my husband mentioned the last two times we were here they skimped, sadly it is more than last time. Also my egg was cooked so long the yellow was hard :(

Pizza is a close second to frozen. Food service sauce and crust. Not impressed. Ambiance is what you'd expect.

From Cincinnati and on vacation for a couple of days in Huron! We wanted to go to one more winery…read morebefore we headed home. My Mr did some research on some dog friendly places and he found D & D Smith Winery. Mixed reviews but we had a feeling that it was laid back so we took a chance. He called before we headed out ( he had a couple of questions) and the owner Danielle answered and was very down to earth. We got there and the patio was shaded with picnic tables. I was very impressed with the selections of wine they had to offer. Many drys and some sweets. So we decided to get a flight: 6 for $5.00 $1.00 each for additional tastings Pinot Grigio Sauvignon Blanc Riesling Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Sangiovese Crooked House (red blend) Cabernet Franc Port Blue (port wine made from blueberries) My fave was the Cab Franc and Sauvignon that I had to get two bottles to take home. $14.00 a bottle. We didn't want to leave just yet so we decided to get a glass a piece for $5.00. I got the Sangiovese and my Mr got the Crooked House red blend. We thought about it and got another bottle to take home of the Port Blue as a dessert wine. All were so good! Besides wine this place has a lot to offer. They serve Appetizers, Meals, Soups, Pizza, Salads, Desserts, Beer, Mixed Drinks, Hard Coder, Non Alcohol Beverages (coke, sprite, Diet Coke, water, hot chocolate, tea and sparkling grape juice. The experience was great and I am so glad that we payed them a visit. I left happy and wine to take home back to Cincy.

I did have a taste of the watermelon wine. It does indeed taste like a jolly rancher. I thought that wine was delicious. But I am a sweet wine kinda person. Food smelled good and people were ordering it. We just weren't interested at the time. Next time I'll try food. Place was steady crowded and people were having a good time. So something needs to be said about that. I'd go back and try other wine and food. It's worth a 2nd chance. I just won't get the moscato.

Beware cause you'll smell the food on you when you leave. Parking is around the town square (street parking). Overall, I would come back again. It's great supporting a local diner and the food was good.

(the Denny's and IHOPs have all been terrorized by accountants, apparently, as their offerings have all declined exponentially in quality.) The nearest Cracker Barrel was literally 100 miles in front of us. Nope, I was in the mood to find the tiny local joint where folks in the kitchen had a mission. This quest has been front and center in all my travel plans since always, and when I win one, it's always a bonus (find my Yelp about "Lu-Bob's" in Greenville, IL) As wife was driving, I had time to reconnoiter Yelp, and the "Invention" in Milan (a few miles ahead) looked like a bullseye. Milan is a quaint little town with a picturesque town square, and the "Invention Restaurant" was smack dab on the corner- it looked EXACTLY as I hoped it would. It was crowded inside with Families (2nd good sign). We got seated in a tiny booth right next to the kitchen and restrooms- Siberia in any other place, but at least we wouldn't escape the eye of the Waitress when our drinks needed a refill. The Lady Chef expediting was a riot to watch and listen to. I could tell these folks were serious about their jobs. The Waitress seemed right out of central Casting-jovial in a good natured smartass way. Wife went with the "Triple"- Eggiwegs, Pancakes and Bacon. I swung with the special "Hot Trash" which was basically a "garbage plate"-a bit of everything mixed up with potatoes and eggs. (this one promised to be "spicy") A really Good Cup of strong coffee was the 3rd good sign, but the "Pepsi" was a bit suspect. Luckily that was the onliest barnacle on this visit. Not enough to foul the mood, but If we're ever there again, we're drinking Iced Tea. Both Breakfasts were max yummy. The "Hot Trash" wasn't especially spicy, but the dish was really great. I didn't care about the spicing. Wife was happy with hers-everything was top fresh. My plate was so sumptuous, I couldn't finish. Made sure the Chef knew it was a matter of capacity, not lack of quality. Prices VERY reasonable as well. This WAS a "small-town winner" for the books. One note-The unisex toilet was about as spacious as the last one I visited on a Boeing 737. Although clean, you could wash your hands in the sink without leaning forward on the throne. I'm a man of size, and if I was 10 pounds more, I would have had considerable trouble navigating the facility here. Not enough to sour me on the place, but I'm glad I didn't have to do major work there, if you know what I mean. If you're enroute to or returning from Cleveland, take the little detour off of I-80/90 and visit the Invention Restaurant in Milan...
