Heavenly treats! Everything baked fresh--the croissants still warm! Delish--so grateful to be a local. In the pic is a chocolate eclair, chocolate croissant, regular croissant and Dutch boy cookies. Super sweet staff.

Great place with fabulous options for satisfying your sweet tooth! Prices are decent and you can tell their products are exceptional quality. Love their french mocha buttercream!

Still the best French pastry shop in Ormond. A wonderful selection to gastronomically take you to Paris. Get an Eiffel Tower cookie and a fruit tart you are set. The family that has been running the shop for years still has it and makes amazing food.

I was in the area and have been to the bakery before and since I wanted something sweet decided to make it a stop. I wanted one of their raspberry croissants but they were already out of them. They still had a selection to choose from so I got a regular croissant, a coffee meringue, a linzer torte, a black forest cookie and a chocolate man cookie. My favorites were the flaky croissant, the linzer torte and the coffee meringue.

Oh my goodness!!! I was so excited to find this place when we first moved to Ormond Beach! Everything is absolutely amazing! The croissants (plain, almond, chocolate, and raspberry) are delicieuse! *chefskiss Such a delicious breakfast! The mango eclair is hubby's favorite; my favorite is the almond tart (although the lemon tart is also amazing!!). All of the cookies are great - we did tins of cookies last Christmas to take back to family & friends and everyone loved them. I will take more pics on my next visit (which will undoubtedly be soon!)

I've enjoyed everything I've tried so far from The French Bakery. My favorites are the Coffee Eclairs and the Chantilly Cream Puffs. It smells amazing when you walk in and they have a great selection of fresh breads and pastries. If you're looking for some delicious pastries to bring to a gathering or just something nice for yourself, definitely try them out!

It's in the corner so DONT miss it! Not much on the outside but the sign is big enough to catch your eye! French ,Bakery and Pastry.. Sold..We headed in and found our server who was so friendly and glad to give us descriptions of all the flavors we would be experiencing in each bakery good. I think he said he was the owners son. Immediately we went down the rows of goodies and started filling a box to go. Everything so far is scrumptious. The coconut macaroons will have you regretting you didn't buy more so double or triple up on those. The lemon cookies were so HOME made fresh. Live the shaded cookies who look like little men! I think they sell sandwiches also which I. Sure are name just as fresh as the bakery items. Next time! They have my stamp of approval and this will now be a looked forward too stop when visiting Ormond in the future.

The history, ambiance, food, and hospitality were all exceptional. Renee, our server, made the evening feel so personal. She was warm, genuine, and incredibly knowledgeable. We talked throughout dinner, and not once did she make us feel rushed. She helped curate our meal, and her service will be remembered just as much as the incredible food. Panos, the manager, also stopped by our table and was so friendly and welcoming; everyone genuinely cared about creating a great experience. Every dish was outstanding. The escargot was perfectly cooked (not rubbery at all) with the ideal balance of garlic butter, paired with an incredible fresh-baked baguette. The foie gras was excellent, the steak au poivre was cooked beautifully, and the duck confit was probably the best I've ever had. The red wine-marinated grapes were such a delightful, unexpected touch. For dessert, the lavender crème brûlée was such a unique and incredible flavor profile, very light and delicate, beautifully executed, and the chocolate mousse was just as good. After I left, I checked a few photos out online and only wish I had a chance to try the burger and the peach dessert thing. Also the oysters - couple next to us had them at the end and I wish I had saved room for a few. It's rare to find a restaurant where every part of the experience, from the food to the people, feels this special. We only wish we lived closer. Such an incredible place. This will definitely be our first choice if we ever make it back to St. Augustine.

(This is exciting for someone who is all this stressed out about parking, lol) We made reservations the morning of the branch and we were able to be accommodated. We were promptly seated when we arrived. Our server, Nina, was polite, attentive and patient with all our questions. She even gave us advice when we asked about some local areas to go check out after the meal. We sat indoors, though they were available outdoor options for seating. The decor was well done and seems pretty classy. The food was fantastic! We tried the deviled eggs, raw oysters with datil hot sauce, and escargot. I tried one of the off menu omelette selections, which was expertly made. We also tried the bouillabaisse and Branzino. Everything was cooked to perfection. We also tried the lavender crème brûlée, pot de creme and Paris -Brest. We thoroughly enjoyed those desserts! I will highly recommend this restaurant for a date night or special occasion. The quality of the food was excellent, and as such, I will return.

Parking is available on the side of the restaurant, although the 1 available spot had an employee squatting down cutting rosemary from a bush. We waited several minutes to give the employee time to finish, but he never acknowledged us or offered to move for a moment. Eventually parked elsewhere, but was a bit concerned about the rosemary that might b in r dish. Love they grow their own herbs, but this rosemary is next to all the car exhaust and where someone might dump their leftover drink or let their dog go potty. Eek. A raised planter or gated area for herbs would b better. Inside, decor is ok but could use some elevating to make it more inviting and upscale. Loved the live music - had a duo playing jazz. There's also a bar available if u prefer that to table dining as well a an outdoor patio. We chose inside seating at a table. It's sort of set-up like an old house so we were in the back room with maybe 4 other tables. Server was not very personable, but fine. Ordered Caesar salad, duck risotto, rack of lamb and souffle. All was okay, not great but not bad. Appreciated that the meats were not gamey so seemed of good quality. Cook was as requested. Presentation was nice. Flavor was lacking on both meats as well as the risotto and couscous. Caesar was very basic and average but appreciated lettuce was fresh. All food was delivered surprisingly quickly. Indicated r interest in souffle when ordering and was initially told it would b blueberry caramel. He then returned to tell us that's incorrect - it's strawberry pineapple. However, the server never put in the souffle order so we ordered the strawberry pineapple souffle after finishing r meals (and sitting with empty dishes in front of us for awhile) while people kept walking past us. Not a problem. It arrived and wasn't actually the correct flavor. We weren't picky so we ate it but he never addressed it, apologized, asked if that was okay. It was just a bit odd. Again, everything was fine, but we won't b returning.

We spent a little over $300 for dinner for 2 adults and 1 child and the food was prepared well and tasted amazing. We ordered the Baked Brie and scallops which was the best 2 bites of the meal. Everything else was excellent just these 2 really stood out. Tomato bisque was incredible along with the lamb. The wife ordered the mahi mahi which was the special of the day and unfortunately was seriously overcooked. I figured this was a special and not something they cook regularly hence not having complete mastering of preparing this fish. Here are my only comments for why I gave a 4 star vs 5 star: 1. The portions are huge and normally this shouldn't be a problem but the chef would do better to cut the portions literally by 50%. By the time the entree came along I was already stuffed since everything was super yummy and I couldn't really stop eating. The sides were absolutely enormous for each dish lol. 2. Service was very good but I wish someone would've came around to clean up the crumbs on the table top. Also, the plates were large due to portions which made it very difficult to fit all the servings on the table. I would recommend using a plate riser to fix this issue or make the portions smaller and use smaller plates. We had a problem with having enough room on the table. 3. Our server was super nice and awesome. It must've been a shift change and I saw her leave and didn't let us know so I wasn't sure how best to tip since I really appreciated her service. I would hope next time to let patrons know this so we can take care of staff accordingly during a shift change. Also on another side note, I love lamb chops and unsure how the chef prepared it but somehow was able to mask the full taste of lamb. This is neither a positive or negative just an observation and personal preference. I tend to enjoy the taste of lamb while others may not. I have to laud the skill of the chef for their skill in doing so since this was a 1st time experience for me for not being able to taste distinct lamb flavor in lamb chops. Altogether a memorable experience and my critique is based on attention to detail which I feel this restaurant would've been perfect if these 3 items fell better into place for us. The quality of food and price for the portions blew us away in a positive way and even though we spent $300 on dinner we thought this was very reasonable given the large portions and quality ingredients and yummy cocktails.
