The things I love about this place are a lot: the food is good, the coconut lavender lemonade is otherworldly, and the pickled veggies are so scrumptious. I'm actually not a huge fan of the fried taco, in general. But this place makes them very tasty, and they are super sopped with greased either. The pulled chicken and brisket are my favorite, and I love getting a big order to go and making into nachos the next day. The ambiance is fun and lively, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. If you want to stay and eat, and you have kids, there is a bonus of a play area, complete with a grasshopper climbing structure. I would not sleep on this place! read more

So I'm going to get to the good stuff first... the service here was incredible! The staff at this little taco shop were unbelievably accommodating. It's an adorable little place inside a courtyard with a couple of other places and some room for your kids to run around in between bites of food without feeling like you're disturbing other diners. We ordered the queso, a couple kids, white people tacos (ground beef tacos) brisket taco, Nashville hot chicken taco and your basic shredded chicken taco. The kids tacos came in these adorable dinosaur holders and the kids were thrilled about that--unfortunately my kids aren't writing this review. So the queso was OK. I wish it were spicier (yah--I realize I'm in OK and y'all can't handle anything spicier than ketchup.) but it could have been a tad bit spicier. The chips it came with were actually awesome, thick and crunchy--all the things you'd come to expect in a tortilla chip. The tacos were just ok as well. I was pretty underwhelmed. I get this isn't a traditional Mexican taco shop, but still expected these tacos to taste a little better. The best parts of this place are the bold flavors. Drinks with lavender or hibiscus... salsas pairing peppers with fruits... and so many spices. It is an adventure! Most in my group preferred the hot pineapple salsa over the mild tomatillo avocado. None of us braved the ultra spicy blueberry salsa. The Taco looked small and unattractive but I'm told it was tasty. Chips and queso were thick and heavy. Been here twice now and even though I got the same thing both times, it was excellent both times. One of the biggest pluses for me was that the food was served fresh and hot. Best taco place in OKC! You have to try all of the sauces/salsas that come with the tacos. Our favorites include the Chicken, Nashville Hot Chicken Taco, Old Fashioned Ground Beef, and the queso! The white queso comes with fried tortilla chips and it's amazing! Our favorite drink is the Coconut Lavender Lemonade. Firstly, the brisket tacos!!! Man they are awesome. Even the ground beef tacos are pretty great. They are a bit pricey for what you get, but when you taste the fresh made sauces and sriracha slaw, you'll taste where your money is going. Honestly the only reason it's not a 5 star joint in my opinion is because the multiple other things we ordered weren't that great. Chips and queso was almost 10 bucks and was forgettable as well as small sized for the price. The empanadas were okay, but I guess you don't divvy off the path of tacos when you go to a taco shop. This restaurant is connected to a bunch of restaurants with a central eating area outside in the middle. I like concepts like this because everyone in your group can get something they would like. The husband and I split an order of white queso that was very good and creamy- not watered down like a lot of queso locally. We got the rotating bacon ranch taco and brisket taco. Both were good, not incredible in my opinion. The side of yucca fries were very good and crispy. I tried all of the side sauces and felt that they were a little obscure for the point of being obscure if that make sense? The green sauce was my favorite for sure. The mango margarita was very sweet, so if you enjoy sweet margaritas, you will enjoy. We went when they were very new, and we plan to return and try different items. read more

My wife and I had tried the fried taco in the collective but browsing yelp today I saw there is now an Edmond location which much closer to us. Dinner was decided. As we wanted to try more of the menu this time I tried the Korean taco that was on special as well as the Caribbean jerk. My wife got a chicken quesadilla. The Korean taco was favorite out of these three but none of them were bad. All of them were quite tasty. My wife quesadilla were good but definitely not the best thing on the menu. We were also pleasantly surprised to see they lively beer on tap! It's awesome to have a local brewery involved like that. Ok now for my complaint. You need more hot sauce/salsa varieties. Everyone one I have tried has just scorched my mouth. I like heat but I want a tasty heat not just hot for the sake of being hot. I really would like to especially try that pineapple salsa, but when I tried tonight my tongue just lit up and took a good 10 minutes to calm down. So please keep the hot stuff but give us some stuff with flavor filled and not filled goodness. read more

Very different. We've never had fried tacos before. Intense flavors. The beef was our favorite. Queso was delicious and the salsas are amazing. Very heavy type of meal so the salsas added a fresh flavor to the tacos. Margarita was a great compliment. Staff was so nice and helpful. As much as we enjoyed, due to most everything being fried it would be difficult to eat there often for us. But will definitely go back. read more
