This was our go to taco Tuesday place for a couple years and they have great tacos. Today we went and instead of ordering at the counter they seated us and we had to wait a long time before we could order. Then it took quite a while to get our food. They were also missing some of the standard salsas on the salsa bar. We were there for about an hour when we used to always get in and out. I'm not sure if there are new owners or why things suddenly changed. I hope it goes back to the way it was. Maybe we will try again in a few weeks. read more

I do like that they have a drive thru but it is incredibly slow. So I walked in and placed my order instead. The staff is friendly and despite being busy my food came out quickly. They still do 99-cent tacos on Tuesday, which is a steal. Their carne asada tacos were okay. Not as flavorful and tender as others. But I do like that they warm the tortillas to a crisp. I also had their chips and queso-and I don't recommend it due to the artificial flavor from the queso. Chips were good though, and they had a dusting of spices. read more

This past weekend I found myself looking for a casual bite while in Edmond with a friend, and quickly settled on Don Tapatio. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was incredibly quick and friendly. There were too many good items on the menu to choose from, but I usually go for tamales. I was not disappointed! They were moist and flavorful, and the filling was absolutely delicious, and the rice and beans were great! I did not see the salsa bar until I finished my plate, so will definitely check that out next time. This will be my regular spot in Edmond now! read more

I enjoy checking out new to me Mexican restaurants and had seen this one for awhile and finally got to try it. My impression was that it would be an affordable option since you have to order at the counter but unless you order tacos only then it is not affordable. I ordered a burrito and one soft taco which did not come with beans or vegetables or rice sides. The total was $21!!!! because I had to order beans and a jalapeño which was the most expensive beans I have ever purchased. Anyway, the food was good and the beans were excellent. However, for the price; accoutrements such as salsa, rice and beans should be included. There is absolutely no ambience and seating is benches. To add to my dissatisfaction the water cup was dirty and had particles floating around in it. I am not going back to this establishment because it was not very clean (dirty tables and benches) uncomfortable seating, no ambience and the prices are exorbitant for what little you get. For the price I could have sat in a booth and be served fresh tortillas, chip and salsa and a clean cup of ice cold water in addition to my entree' at almost any other Mexican restaurant in the metro area for $21 or less. I give this restaurant 2 stars and do not recommend it in anyway, shape or form. read more

I try to come here as often as I can. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Edmond. I absolutely love their chicken quesadillas. I also like the salsa bar, as it comes with lots of options (salsas, pico, carrots, jalapeños, pickled onions/radishes, etc.) When I say their chicken quesadilla is delicious, that is no overstatement. The flavor of the chicken is fantastic. The rice and beans that accompany it are nice as well. I absolutely love the fact that they are open late. It's so annoying that everything in Edmond closes so early. Highly recommend. Definitely give this place a try. They even have a drive-through if you're in a hurry. read more

Every taco Tuesday for these 4 months that i go there . The tacos don't have a lot of meat. I work really hard to provide for my family . An to get a special day like taco Tuesday to spend my money on . It's not fair the portion I am giving . I am still paying for food and I don't spend your usual $10 . We've lived in Edmond several years and never noticed this place. Someone posted about their great tacos in the Edmond foodies group on social media and I was intrigued since we are on the hunt for great local tacos - we've been all over OKC and until now, Tacos San Pedro was our fave. The price was right, service was quick, and everything was delicious. Hugs pros for us: 99 cent taco Tuesday. Asada aren't included, but they're still just $1.69. We felt that the pastor and pollo were equally delicious. Salsa bar - need I say more? Various toppings, unlimited limes, and multiple kinds of salsa. I could barely find photos of this place so I wasn't sure if the salsa bar was real or not- it was definitely real. We tried a small order of rice and beans and both were excellent. Quick friendly service. They take cash or cards. Our total for 12 tacos (including 4 not on sale), small rice and beans, and 3 ice waters was $19 and change - I can't remember the last time we ate for less than $20. We are super excited to go back! This establishment is phenomenal. The service is excellent. Kind staff. So helpful. The food is beyond excellent. Authentic served hot and great serving size. The menu is full of so many choices. It was hard to chose what to have. The place was clean The drinks are delicious too! Don't forget to grab some of the homemade salsa from the little salsa bar. This is my go to spot for Lengua street tacos. They are perfectly seasoned, amazing flavor, tender and juicy. I definitely recommend this place any day, anytime. Extremely reasonably priced as well. I only go through the drive-through so I can't comment on the inside, but the service is fast and well packaged. The Jamaica Aqua Fresca is also pretty good as well. read more

Love this place. I live out of state and every time I come into town I have to get a bunch of their street tacos. My grandma who I visit loves them as well and mom always request I bring some home. The El Pastor is my favorite and the salsas are amazing. I usually just go through the drive thru but inside is full during lunch with tables to sit at. Friendly service as well. The food was yummy. I used the drive thru. The speaker wasn't working but it wasn't a problem as they had a sign telling customers to order at window. I had a regular burrito with carne asada and a pineapple water. Both were good. The servers were patient with my multiple questions about drinks and the food was ready quickly and they were courteous when bringing it. The food was AMAZING!! Lots of flavor and beautifuly presented. I had gotten the shrimp fajitas (100/10). And the fact that the guacamole is handmade right in front of you is wonderful (also 100/10).
