Chips, and whatever else that is. Noticed cross contamination for the second time now. Also their cup of corn was sour and fermented.

Tacos are decent, cup of corn was sour and fermented. Tasted like beer. Also noticed cross contamination in my chips on more than one occasion. Don't even know what that thing is! I'm hoping it's the husk of a corn? But lord knows.

This past weekend I found myself looking for a casual bite while in Edmond with a friend, and quickly settled on Don Tapatio. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was incredibly quick and friendly. There were too many good items on the menu to choose from, but I usually go for tamales. I was not disappointed! They were moist and flavorful, and the filling was absolutely delicious, and the rice and beans were great! I did not see the salsa bar until I finished my plate, so will definitely check that out next time. This will be my regular spot in Edmond now!

A mix of tacos - asada, al pastor (spicy pork), and chicken.

We've lived in Edmond several years and never noticed this place. Someone posted about their great tacos in the Edmond foodies group on social media and I was intrigued since we are on the hunt for great local tacos - we've been all over OKC and until now, Tacos San Pedro was our fave. The price was right, service was quick, and everything was delicious. Hugs pros for us: 99 cent taco Tuesday. Asada aren't included, but they're still just $1.69. We felt that the pastor and pollo were equally delicious. Salsa bar - need I say more? Various toppings, unlimited limes, and multiple kinds of salsa. I could barely find photos of this place so I wasn't sure if the salsa bar was real or not- it was definitely real. We tried a small order of rice and beans and both were excellent. Quick friendly service. They take cash or cards. Our total for 12 tacos (including 4 not on sale), small rice and beans, and 3 ice waters was $19 and change - I can't remember the last time we ate for less than $20. We are super excited to go back! Included is a pic of our food and the menu, since I couldn't locate a current menu online.

I appreciate a good street taco and they are one of the best in the area. Best part is that they have a drive thru or you can dine inside.

We've been on a mission to find street tacos that can rival our favorites from Dallas, Texas, and let me tell you--Cafe Sol absolutely nailed it! I ordered the street tacos and loaded fries, while my partner went with the Birria Tacos. Every single bite was packed with incredible flavor. We were genuinely blown away by how bold, fresh, and delicious everything tasted. To make the experience even better, the counter attendant was super friendly and took the time to recommend a few menu favorites since it was our first visit. Great food and great service are a winning combination! Needless to say, we've already found our new taco spot. We can't wait to come back and work our way through the rest of the menu. Cafe Sol has officially earned two very enthusiastic regulars!

I ordered the asada fries and I'm still thinking about them. Absolute perfection. The fries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and loaded (and I mean LOADED) with perfectly seasoned carne asada. The steak was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor -- not dry, not chewy, just melt-in-your-mouth good. The toppings were fresh and balanced everything out beautifully. Creamy sauce, fresh pico, just the right amount of cheese -- every bite had the perfect mix. It wasn't just "good food truck food." It was legitimately some of the best asada fries I've had anywhere. You can tell they care about quality and flavor. Everything tasted fresh, hot, and made to order. On top of that, the service was friendly and welcoming -- the kind of place that makes you want to come back and try everything else on the menu. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the flavor is next level. 10/10. Will absolutely be back. Edmond is lucky to have this gem.

Drinks we started with Inca Kola (lemonade) and Maracuya (Mango Juice). These were a great starter, not tarts but not overly sweet. As an appetizer we got Patacones con ceviche de camaron. These are fried plantains like chips, topped with shrimp and an amazing sauce that will make your mother water. It's served warm and best to be picked up and eaten. This will get you ready for your entree. For a fish entree we had Ceviche de pescado. This is a dish with fish and corn in lemon juice and hot peppers. It's served cold on a bed of lettuce with sweet potato slices. It's very easy on the eyes, flavorful, good mix between the fish and red onions. The sweet potatoes gave it a good contracting flavor. Best eaten with the hot peppers and lemon juice. Our final entree was Lomo Saltado. This is a beef dish served over beans and tomatoes with rice, red onions and cilantro sauce. I put a bed of rice down, covered with onion, then beans, then the beef (which had the most amazing tenderness) and topped with the cilantro sauce. The sauce pulls the whole meal together, and all the flavors works amazingly with each other. Finally we finished with Flan Lucuma. Picture traditional flan but instead of a caramel type topping it was covered in a Peruvian fruit juice that gave it some amazing flavor and not an overpowering sweet. We will definitely be back for more. The staff were so sweet and kind. Very helpful and helped us pick out some great choices. You won't be disappointed.

When we got there, we had a great table, but the sign wasn't on the table. I asked the server and he said he would get it. An hour and a half later, another server finally found a sign for us. Our server took our order and it would take 30 minutes plus to get a drink. We were all very patient because it was packed and I'm sure it was taking a while to make all the drinks at the bar. Our server must've had several tables because we didn't see him very often. We started ordering drinks two at a time because we wouldn't see him for 20 to 30 minutes. The entertainment consisted of two women dressed up like disco balls and another person dressed up in a disco ball suit. They would walk around and dance. It was cool, but I kind of thought from the advertisement that there would be more. At the end, we waited for like 15-20 minutes to get our check and finally asked another server to get it for us. He told our waiter. We got our check and we all had 23% gratuity automatically attached to it. I wasn't aware that it would be 23% and had we had an attentive waiter, that probably would've been OK. I love La Brasa's ambience, but I feel like for those events they need more bartenders and/or servers. Overall, I would probably go again because it really is a vibe, but be prepared to wait quite a while for your drink.

They have the robot that brings out food for you like at certain hot pot restaurants. The robot was not precise and it would stop at random table instead of the exact table where it should be. The el mar which is a seafood combination dish and included lobster tail, shrimps, and a piece of salmon. The dish was really cheap, only $23.99. The shrimps and salmon were good. I would rather pay a little more for fresh vegetables. I didn't quite understand the use of salsa as there were no chips for it. There were tortillas but salsa and tortillas don't go together, am I right? Who knows? I didn't touch neither. This restaurant also has burgers, steaks, and pasta which I haven't tried.
