The best word I can come up with is "lovely". My wife ordered a single egg sandwich on an English Muffin ($4) with bacon ($1) and a potato patty side ($1). Now those are very reasonable prices, so I really don't agree with some of the price bashing I've seen on this page. I ordered what turned out to be one of the very best breakfast sandwiches I've had in months. My Breakfast BLT was a feast of toasted rye bread, lettuce, tomato, bacon, cheese, and two fried eggs. It kept me full for half the day, and at $10.50 was worth every penny. Village Market's coffees are sourced from "Those Guys Coffee Company" out of New Hartford. Our coffee was excellent ($3 for a 12-ounce cup). Oh, and there is one more reason why our visit was lovely - our conversations and interactions with Evelyn. She and her daughter are owners, and she was super friendly, and just a real pleasure to meet and chat with. And to add one more reason to visit is this -they also sell ice cream! The inside of the store is EXACTLY painted how you would expected an ice cream store to look, with pink and brown. Color is everywhere, but in a pleasing way. The ice cream is Hershey's, so of course its great! Everything is very clean, and the two servers at the counter were both friendly but moved expediently on to the next customer so the service moved quickly!
