Polite servers but the ice cream was grainy, gummy, and obviously not fresh. Not worth it. Not planning to return.

The poutine hit the spot, fries cooked perfectly, gravy was on point. (I'm a frenchie and love my poutine) The Brussels had the right amount of heat, and were tasty, wish they were a little more crispy but they were flavorful. The Reuben, I would come back for this Reuben alone. Shaved corned beef, lots of flavor, the bread is amazing... The chicken and waffle we did not dive into yet, took it to go so well review that another time The service was great,

We ordered wood-fired garlic knots, Falaco Tacos, the Grinch cocktail (from their Christmas special cocktails), and they accommodated a pineapple soda mocktail request as well. Food was fresh and flavourful. And, the vibe as well the service were great. We'll definitely be back to try more vegetarian items on the menu. Can't wait to bring family and friends along when they visit. Visit #2 on December 28, 2025 We had friends over from NYC and we came to Greenhouse for lunch. They loved the decor and the food. We ordered 2 x Falaco and 2 x Southwest Black Bean Veggie Burger in food and a coke and sugar cookie cocktail in beverages. [Order total: $84.49 + tip] Everyone enjoyed the vibe, the food, and the service.

"Heart made of glass, my mind of stone Isn't it lovely, all…read morealone?" (Billie Eilish) I was thinking about what word best describes this morning's breakfast at the Village Market & Cafe. The best word I can come up with is "lovely". Everything was lovely -the dining room, decorations, the craft goods and pricing from local artisans, the pricing, choices, quality and quantity of the foods, and especially the service and hospitality. If you want an overall lovely vibe and experience, you really need to visit. Their menu board is divided into two sections, with breakfast on the left and lunch on the right. We were there in the morning, so with breakfast on our minds we checked out the left board and saw breakfast sandwiches, bagels, a kid's menu, and a potato patty side. My wife ordered a single egg sandwich on an English Muffin ($4) with bacon ($1) and a potato patty side ($1). Now those are very reasonable prices, so I really don't agree with some of the price bashing I've seen on this page. I ordered what turned out to be one of the very best breakfast sandwiches I've had in months. My Breakfast BLT was a feast of toasted rye bread, lettuce, tomato, bacon, cheese, and two fried eggs. It kept me full for half the day, and at $10.50 was worth every penny. Village Market's coffees are sourced from "Those Guys Coffee Company" out of New Hartford. Our coffee was excellent ($3 for a 12-ounce cup). Oh, and there is one more reason why our visit was lovely - our conversations and interactions with Evelyn. She and her daughter are owners, and she was super friendly, and just a real pleasure to meet and chat with. And to add one more reason to visit is this -they also sell ice cream! This was an easy FIVE STARS for all of the lovely features of this lovely spot.

First of all, they have a real coffee machine -- the coffee is excellent!…read moreI also asked for breakfast without bread and received a beautiful plate with two eggs, lettuce, tomatoes, and salmon. Everything was very fresh. I'll definitely come back and strongly recommend visiting them!

"Let me hear you say Let's ride…read moreThrough the countryside Down to the riverside" (Blake Shelton) It's nothing fancy to look at from the outside, but what they have inside their walls is fantastic. I don't think I've ever seen a place that advertises itself as a pizza destination have as large of a non-pizza menu as Countryside Pizza and Restaurant does. They are a full blown diner with every breakfast dish 9served all day) under the sun plus, salads, wraps, club sandwiches, burgers (half pounders, by the way), fried seafood, grinders, pasta, Italian dishes, Greek dishes, and pizzas. Seriously, this place is incredible. I took advantage of their breakfast all day option and picked up a Breakfast Bowl with home fries, crumbled sausage, jalapenos, onions, a sunny side up egg, a slice of bread, and a side of salsa. Man oh man was everything great. Service was great too, with friendly smiling counter folks everywhere. Whatever the time of day is when your hunger pangs strike, you really can't go wrong with driving out to Harwinton and eating at the Countryside, a very sweet local place without a hint of pretension.

Today was the first time I've come in for breakfast and I'm kicking myself for not stopping in sooner! I'll get to the amazing food in a minute, first I'll say that everyone was so kind and welcoming! The wait wasn't bad at the time I went, but I've heard of people having to wait a bit. So either go early or later than the typical 9am breakfast rush if you don't want to wait. I was able to get two seats at the counter top right away and moved to a table once one opened up. Inside is cute and cozy. Not a ton of seating and this isn't a place to sit and linger after you've finished eating but we didn't feel rushed at all! Now for the food! The chicken and waffles was excellent! It's made with pearl sugar waffles which are the traditional Belgian waffle! The chicken was crispy on the outside while still being moist! Also got the biscuits and gravy which was very flavorful without being too spicy and biscuits were great! Eggs were slightly overcooked! Overall everything was great and this will become one of my regular breakfast joints!
