I went to Linda's cafe the morning my grandmother passed. Our favorite thing to do was to try different breakfast spots, but we weren't ever able to get around to trying Linda's. I thought it was fitting to have breakfast there to honor her memory. Nobody serving knew that however. I was sat in a booth, teary eyed. But I was greeted by exceptionally friendly people with radiating smiles. Even the kitchen staff were smiling and cracking jokes with each other. It was warm. The food was delicious. I ordered a country fried steak, and everything was wonderful. The entire experience was really comforting. I don't think anyone at that restaurant knows it, but their hospitality and service really helped me. I'm very grateful for the opportunity to eat there, and I'll most definitely be going back. read more

Ouuuuu yall I had to make another review because wow, not only is their strawberry cinnamon roll amazing, but they even fulfilled my weird and (probably gross to others) order. Linda's is a wildly popular café in for good reason. The service is absolutely spot on. You will be greeted and seated as promptly as possible. The line may be out the door, but don't give up your spot. It will be well worth your while. The food is hearty, tasty, and innovative. You want to consider the breakfast bowls with hashbrowns eggs, meat cheeses. The decor is as cute as can be with a strong nautical vibe. We get down to Linda's about once a year and we live in New York near the Canadian border. read more

My family of five dined here recently, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. While the food was decent, it certainly wasn't worth the hour-long wait. Items we ordered for our children were forgotten, and by the time our meals finally arrived, our baby was understandably upset and crying from the delay. When we asked about a military discount--which we've received at many establishments as active-duty service members--we were told it only applies if you're in uniform. That policy wasn't listed anywhere, and the response felt dismissive and inconsistent. We were surprised and disheartened, especially as the server wouldn't even make eye contact with us. As the only Black family in the restaurant, we couldn't help but feel singled out and overlooked. The combination of poor service, extended wait time, and the way we were spoken to left us feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. We sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements in both service and inclusivity moving forward. read more

We came by during the week for a late breakfast. Our waiter, Josh, was amazing! He was friendly and attentive. We ordered Chesapeake Benedict, Tony's tat bowl and veggie omelette. We enjoyed our coffee and our breakfast came out rather quickly. The food was good, very topical diner food. We enjoyed the Chesapeake benedict as we are from out of town. i won't recommend this place We waited 1 hour for food that we didn't get. Manager told us that this place is not fast food. People that were sitting at the bar area got their food 15 minutes before we walked out. No apology at all. read more

Sitting service Sucked, waited while others came in waited for a shorter wait and were seated ahead of us. I get it we were a party of 6 but when smaller groups are coming in and being seated ahead of us those are taking up potential seating areas where we could've sat. Food price was not astronomical and looked decent. Not sure how a greeter can be the first impression of the restaurant while looking like a neon magnet, but I guess that's how they do it in Maryland! Will never come back here again! read more

New location....sustained goodness! Service was engaging, food was great (as usual) and portions were filling. A bit more room is nice with every table occupied. 5th star withheld due to a slight error with one order, but I ate the extra with pleasure. Don't be put-off by the parking and you may have to wait 5-10 minutes for a table. But hey, it's Linda's Cafe....it's worth it!! read more

if you want a good breakfast with a pleasant and pleasing personality. You won't find it here. The management is rude to its workers, so employees would rather quit than work an entire shift. I was there a few weeks ago, and my eggs were so done they practically turned to ash in my mouth, with no seasoning ever. The server we had was just amazing. She went above and beyond to give us the best experience, but I kept seeing her talking with a manager and returning to the table with a sad attitude. We gave her a great tip and advised her to leave this place if possible. If I could give this place negative stars, I wouldn't be spending my money here again, and I don't think anyone should either. read more
