The bartender was incredibly welcoming and warm and gave us his full attention even though there were plenty of other people already at the bar. As a first timer, that really made me want to return. The atmosphere was so cozy. The lighting and temperature were warm and the music was at a good level - not too loud, not too quiet. Though they don't have a pool table - which is what we were after - they have plenty of board games. We had a beer each and played several rounds of Shut the Box. Thanks for the great service! They were polite, kind and welcoming. The guy sitting next to me gave up his seat for my friend. I bought him a drink to thank him, but he didn't acknowledge it, probably embarrassed. That's typical of Foggy Dew. Nick was our bartender, and he was friendly and answered my barrage of questions. Foggy Dew will be a destination bar for me. The decor was unique, but the differences were subtle. I loved the fact the Dew was in a residential neighborhood. That added to its panache. It was a cool bar. I liked it. I think you will too.

There's also a bar across from the patio. You keep walking through Jo cats to the last room in the back with a bar in the middle and another patio! These patios are pretty roomy too. Great places for a fresh breath of air or a smoke break. I've never had a bad time with the bartenders or bouncers. Drinks are solid and do the job. The music is typical bar music. You can definitely wait to hear a song you like. The atmosphere just isnt for me. It can be packed in Jo Cats and it still looks boring. We walked through the entire bar. Not a single song pulled us to the dance floor. I try to only come when there's no cover so I dont feel salty about wanting to leave.

I got there at lunch time and the place was empty but people started coming in. They don't have a kitchen but frozen pizza is as good as it gets and I was not interested in a frozen pizza. I ordered a gin with soda water and lime juice and to my surprise I got fresh squeezed lime juice which I wasn't expecting from a dive bar. My friend loves mocktails, so I asked the bartender to make them something fruity. The bartender whipped up one of the most beautiful and delicious blueberry lemonades I've ever seen. If the syrup wasn't homemade, then I'd be shocked. I personally got a coke, and I love they have glass bottles here. It really added to the Spanish aesthetic and feel of this soccer bar. The coolest part? All of the soccer team scarves hanging from the ceiling and the Madison FC mural in the back. If you're a soccer fan, you have to check this place out!

I think stick to what you do well is the name of the game. Chicken wings are one of the menu items. There are multiple choices for sauce. The hot is the closest to what I think of as Buffalo Wings. They were crispy, hot, and juicy. The flavor of the sauce was good, but they weren't as covered in the sauce as I would have liked. The bartender who was also the cook (and I very nice fellow) said that the Spicy BBQ and Garlic Parmisan are his favorite. I will be back to try those.
