Because her hair was long. OK, if we had special needs or she wanted to cut a lot, etc. maybe it's more work. However, we just cut 2 inches all the way and had bangs. That's it. Nothing else. No color. Nothing. In what way does her long hair make a difference? it doesn't. It was a rip off and my daughter said 2 days later after giving it time that it was only Mehhhh.

This was never explained to me before the service started. I let Grace know my goal was to continue growing my hair longer, but I need to trim all the dead ends off. She asked how much I wanted off, and I said whatever is dried up and split. She trimmed and styled my hair with a blow dry and round brush. My hair looked so nice when I left and I was initially very happy. Then, a day or two later I noticed I still had LOTS of split ends. I thought, great, she didn't do what I paid for. I was charged around $60. I retuned approximately two weeks later and told her I still had a lot of split ends. I needed another trim. I was willing to pay because I'm a push over. So, she trimmed my hair and I asked she blow dry my hair with the round brush again. Usually a blow dry COMES with the haircut. To my great surprise, it did not, as I found out when she charged me. She charged me to trim my hair, of which she didn't do correctly the first time, plus a whopping $60 extra for blow dry. I had to ask her again, just to make sure I was hearing correctly, "How much?" She repeated, $95. I asked, "How is it $95? Why so much?" She explained it was $45 for the hair trim, and $65 for a blow dry. I paid her, extremely reluctantly. I felt absolutely taken advantage of. At first I thought she was nice, but after that stunt, it's clear she isn't all that nice. She's out to gouge people's pockets. I paid, knowing I would never give her my business again. I contemplated writing this review for months. I don't like sharing negative experiences about small business, but I have to admit, I still get angry when I think about it. So, I decided to share my experience for what it was. I've since then gone to Ulta at the Pico Rivera center and I was very, very happy with my haircut there.
