This place was pretty cool. It was 90 degrees out and humid so we did not sit outside which I wish we could have because it has a nice bar area with umbrellas and lots of tv's. Inside was darker, but the service was good and each table had it's own tv and remote! Chicken wings were a little chewy but the chicken bacon melt was really good. Beer was cold and the restrooms were clean. The service was good , price was decent but for 10-12 wings I guess 18.00 was the going price these days. Our party of seven people recently ate here for lunch. This was our first time at Galaxy, and we dined in the sports bar. The bar area is large and they have a dining room inside, or you can eat outside on their patio. They have so many TV's in place it was easy to simultaneously watch many different games and rounds of golf. Our server was Devin, and she did a terrific job of keeping our lunch orders straight. After serving our drinks, it seemed like only a few minutes later she came back with our food. Our group ordered many different items. I chose the Philly Steak Sandwich and opted for onion rings as a side. My wife had the Chicken Salad Sandwich and a side salad, which she loved. Our nephew ordered the salad topped which a large slice of tuna, and he gave it top marks. Others ordered burgers, and my sister-in-law raved about the French dip sandwich. My brother-in-law said that their chicken noodle soup was the best he's ever had. This can be a tough group to please, but Galaxy Sports Bar did it! Haven't been back here for a long time but went to dinner on the patio while up visiting Dad. Very nice spacious patio bar area. Great service and timely delivery of our food. I got the Black n Blue Burger n fries Dad got the French Dip about $20 for each. Big burger cooked medium and was a Big'en. Sloppy of course but what helped was the demi glaze was served on the side which helped limit the mess. This was our servers call and I thanked her for lookin out for me. We used to love coming here. The menu is large and there are plenty of things to choose from. Food takes awhile on the busy nights but the food and drinks are good. However, we ALWAYS get stuck with the same server, who is truthfully the worst. Even when it is not crowded, she messes up our orders, won't bring drinks from the bar, or we just never see her to even refill waters. We always have to order drinks from the bar when she is our server because she doesn't come back to the table, and this has happened multiple times. Visited the sports bar at the Galaxy Restaurant with the family recently. There were five of us and we were immediately seated. Our side of the restaurant was fairly busy. The other side is a steakhouse. So there is one kitchen serving two separate dining rooms. One of the dining rooms is fine dining and the other is casual dining. The benefit of eating on the casual side is that you get the benefit of great food withouth a high price. I had a Blue Moon wheat beer as it was on draft and my wife had a White Raja IPA. It took a while for our drinks to arrive. As an appetizer, my mom requested mozzarella cheese sticks. For dinner, I requested the cod with green beans and red skin potatoes. While we waited, two musicians began playing live music. It was loud, but not too loud. The music was casual jazzy dining music, which was nice. A while later, the mozz sticks arrived. A long while after that, the food arrived. My cod dinner was excellent. It was clear to me that this dish at $19 was far cheaper than the $42 sea bass in the adjacent dining room. The cod was cooked perfectly, had an excellent flavor, and fell apart when I cut into it with my fork. Divine. The roasted red potatoes were excellent also. The green beans needed seasoning, but were tasty when I added my own salt and pepper. Very good meal and the service was good, but slow. read more

Being the primary restaurant in Wadsworth, having three different dining rooms, and having frequent out of town diners (due to the two adjoining hotels), you'd think this place would be vegetarian friendly. We stopped in for a late evening snack after attending an event. We specifically stopped there because they had good fresh-cut fries. Turns out they got rid of the good fries for cheap, frozen ones that are not tasty at all. We ordered a basket of fries and a burger to split, plus two old-fashioneds. Our bill was $49 before the tip. The service was good, and the burger was tasty. Everything else was sub-par and overpriced. I put up with their higher prices when the fries were as good as the burger, but now I'm pretty sure that I can get better tasting food at the Applebee's up the street and for a lot less money. We made a reservation for 7pm on a Saturday night. We ordered dinner from the steakhouse. The steak was ordered medium rare and arrived well done. They made us a new steak and it was medium rare but wasn't very good. They offer olive oil with herbs along with the bread and there was so much olive oil on the plate it was to the brim. We ended up accidentally spilling it really easily. Our Caesar salads never arrived. Probably won't return. I really liked the inside and wanted to enjoy our food more but there were a lot of missed opportunities. I also enjoyed the red wine flight. read more

A very good experience. Started off a little shaky; somehow our Saturday reservation, made through the website, was for 6:30 am, not pm. The manager, Dave, quickly handled the situation and it was all good from there. Everything we had was delicious. My wife's filet was cooked to perfection and my peppercorn crusted strip steak was very flavorful. All of the side dishes were excellent as well, especially the Cowboy potatoes. Our waitress was very attentive & efficient. Dave came by several times and really added to the whole experience; a true professional who set a great example of customer service to the young staff. This is a review of the Thanksgiving buffett from yesterday, not the restaurant. So for a variety of reasons we chose to not make traditional thanksgiving lunch. For convenience we chose to go to a restaurant instead. There was 16 of us. The service was fine, it was actually great. The atmosphere was what it was, felt like a wedding reception. The reason I give a 1 is because the food was terrible. For $35 a plate I expected not only a larger variety of food, but better quality. It was so laden with salt that it was hard to enjoy. I forced myself to have two plates worth so I didn't feel like I wasted $35. Didn't bother with dessert. For $700+ for our group, I expected better. I was traveling on business with two coworkers, including our sales leader, who wanted to try out the Galaxy as a place to bring customers. The steakhouse seating was closed for a private event, so we were seated in the wineroom. The ambiance is lovely. The room is pleasant and inviting. Since it was midweek, there were only a few tables full. Despite not being busy, the service was very slow. Two of us ordered the pork medallions, and one ordered a filet mignon cooked medium. The pork medallions were so dry that they were difficult to chew. I left most of them on the plate and ate the Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes instead. My coworker's filet was also overcooked and served well done instead of medium as he ordered. The service and the food were unimpressive. This is not a place we will return to. read more

My wife and I went there for Easter brunch. Coffee was terrible. We had the supervisor check and she agreed. She got us a fresh brew and though it was better, but I still couldn't drink it. The Prime Rib was more like Prime Leather. The noodle dish was cold. Parts of the salad was wilted. The service was good but they tried to take a plate before we were finished. The vibe of the outdoor patio was fun featuring a large bar, waterfall feature, comfortable table & chairs, and umbrellas/screens to block the sun. Our server was the absolute sweetest! There was a good variety of choices on menu for food and drinks. Prices were also very value driven! Would definitely come back for happy hour or for day drinking outside again. Disappointed. First you have to decide which dining area you want and then they ask for your full name and phone number. For what? I dislike any restaurant that provides a salad ala carte, but this one also offers a bread basket ala carte for $5! Biggest failure was that absolutely nothing came out of the kitchen hot. Not the mashed potatoes, not the rice, not the vegetables, not the steak, and not the crab legs! The steak was tender and flavorful. The crab legs were small, but tasty. No butter warmer and had to request a cocktail fork for the crab legs. And the dessert menu was a full of beautiful pictures and descriptions of about twelve different favorites - which only means that every one of them was a pre-packaged frozen product. The main dining room is very nicely decorated, comfortable, and private seating areas. I thought there must have been another larger party because of all the talk and laughter. But no - all that was coming from the service area behind us. Our server was a lovely young girl, Katie. She was polite, helpful, and courteous throughout. First time eating at the brunch buffet, and it was excellent! The Galaxy is also doing a great job of managing a buffet where people can safely (social distancing) get the food they want to eat. When we walked in, we were greeted by a hostess, and then immediately seated. Our server Zack did an excellent job of explaining the buffet and keeping our drinks filled. There were many choices of food items. Everything from breakfast items to carved prime rib. Lots of fresh salad items, fresh fruit, other meat dishes, veggies, pasta, and also an omelette station and waffle station. The desserts looked super yummy too but I only had room for one, but added some berries on my plate. Loved the prime rib as it was perfectly prepared, and very tender.
