We had such a fantastic experience at Beau's Grille! The menu has a huge variety, so there's truly something for everyone. We started with two seasonal cocktails, and both were absolutely delicious. For an appetizer, we tried the Bloody Mary Fried Green Tomatoes, which were delightful, flavorful, and such a fun twist on a classic drink in flavor. For our mains, we ordered the Potato and Cheese Pierogi and the Scallops that were on special, and both were amazing. Everything was cooked beautifully and full of flavor. Beau's has been consistently impressive as far as a restaurant goes for as long as I can remember. I love that they switch up the menu and offer different specials from time to time. On Mondays, they have a limited menu, and we ordered the stuffed banana peppers which were delightful (not pictured, they went too quickly!) and I also ordered the superfood salad with steak (medium rare of course). I really enjoyed the salad. It had so many yummy textures and I opted out to remove the strawberries and instead of the Asian dressing, I ended up choosing Italian, which was based on my own personal preference and I'm so happy I did. The super food salad had so many wonderful ingredients, including pistachios, different berries, and edamame. The steak itself was cooked perfectly, and the entire salad was very refreshing. We have been to Beau's Grille many times over the years. The room has a dark cozy feeling and the service was good. This particular evening they seemed a little slow. I suspect they had a party in one of the other rooms. While the food is good, I am a fan of the long bone veal chop veal parm. Don't know how they can sell it for $30.00 what with the price of veal. We had calamari which was fried with tomatoes and peppers. It as tasty and tender. The soup was well prepared as well. We split the caesar salad. It was still a large portion accompanied by anchovies I knew that my friend and I wanted to order the veal chop. On the Open Table form, I requested that they save two veal chops. When we checked in, the receptionist told be they were aware of the request and had saved them for us. We weren't disappointed. A good experience We'll be back again read more

Review is based off of food not drinks. A really nice restaurant located in the double tree hotel. There is plenty of parking and we did make a reservation for Thursday night but probably didn't have to. The staff were so friendly and acknowledged us when we were waiting to be seated. I recommend sitting in the lounge area for a casual but nice ambiance whereas the dining room area was a little bit more fancy. Their Halloween cocktail menu just got released and I had fun with my order but probably would stick with my classic drinks next time I'm back. The salmon is a must!!! The honey beurre blanc is to die for. It was also very well cooked. The stuffed Italian peppers is also a great appetizer to choose for, they had quite a kick and were huge and juicy. The cheese sticks are what brought me to the restaurant. Someone local found out I was staying at this hotel and said, "you must try the mozzarella sticks!" Well here I am and I did! They are outstanding. They are light and fluffy with just the right amount of crunch and a delicate, tasty filling of mozzarella cheese filling! The service was friendly and helpful and the restaurant is a delightfully comfortable with at least three different seating area options, including an outdoor patio option. They apparently have great cocktails and drink options (I did not partake of anything stronger than a Ginger Ale). I would gladly recommend the cheese sticks and will report back on the Lobster Ravioli after dinner! The quality of the bread served with the meal was very good. It was hot and served with butter on the side in a bread basket well covered to maintain warmth. The Lobster Ravioli was tender with a very nice texture. While it was good, it was a little bland for my tastes. There was a small couple of roasted tomatoes that added an excellent flavor, but there were not enough for my tastes to balance the otherwise fairly bland dish. I realize the goal is to not overpower the lobster. The lobster was good and there was plenty of lobster filling - pretty much perfect, for that matter. I just wanted a bit more flavor (and I tend to like spicy foods). If you're more into spicy food, this would not be your first choice. read more

Amazing! Locals spot inside the Hilton. Same ducks come to lay their eggs & watch them fly off into their teen years. Literally lol! Beautiful! However, the restaurant/bar area is a MUST as well! The Hummus, Arugula salad w/ chicken or not, Raviolis, specials, location, etc. All A+! The bartenders are always fantastic & fabulous! This place is inside the Hilton Hotel, very nice atmosphere, the tables are very close together, unless you get a booth there is no real "ambiance" my husband and I started off with drinks, the sangria and a watermelon "spritz" there was no "spritz" in the drink, and it tasted like watered down watermelon schnapps/juice. Not good. My husbands sangria was good, but dry...not very fruity or sweet. We had the calamari appetizer and it was amazing. Good portion, the bell pepper sauce was fantastic, just enough acid to balance out that fried breading...highly recommend. My husband had the veal parm for dinner, excellent....large portion, flavorful, would recommend. I got the walleye, and ate one bite and could not finish...there was a lemon "jelly" that was dumped not only on the bottom of the plate where the fish sat, but all over the top of the fish, the breading was soggy and the jelly was so overwhelmingly sweet, it definitely was not a good Combination and the vegetables were also placed on top of a pile of that "jelly" so nothing was really edible from my plate. We did get the half arugula salad, that was fantastic, well seasoned and oiled and a nice portion. Service wasn't great, my drink was completely full and the waitress didn't ask about it, also as you can see in the picture my plate had one bite taken and she never came back to ask how everything was, for the money we spent we definitely didn't feel the food or service was up to par. read more

Although busy and shortstaffed, the service was great appetizers were good. My strip was great but her sautéed walleye was small and served with a spoonful of rice pilaf. our friends ordered the short ribs and walleye. ribs were small without the bone and the fish was the same as before. overall, our experience was just average and not up to the caliber of previous visits. also, along with eggs, there must be a shortage of bread. if you want bread with your appetizer or meal, it's an additional 3.50 for 4 small slices of cold bread. For a meal approaching 140 charging for bread is pretty tacky. Have mixed emotions about returning. read more

We won't be returning. Although it is aesthetically pleasing and comfortable, and the food we ate was very enjoyable, the service was far less than acceptable. It was very slow throughout the evening but once our order was placed it was 43 minutes before we received any food. We would've asked what the holdup was if we could've found someone to flag down to ask! When we expressed our complaint to one of the 2 managers, she initially seemed sincerely apologetic. But after we requested she returned to our table and told her about the lukewarm side dishes on all three of our plate plates she became very indifferent. Once we ate we had to wait another 20 minutes to get our bills! When I commented on this to our server she proceeded to explain that she was busy with a large party in the other room and that since one of our party of three had been late that was the real reason it took so long. I don't really understand why them serving us food that was no longer hot was somehow now our fault. We needed refills on our water, but we were hard-pressed to find someone to flag down to do that. Clearly their staffing was not sufficient tonight. We thought after the incredible delay there would at least be some gesture of apology like a complementary dessert or something off of the bill but no. Overall these problems point to poor management which certainly can be fixed but we will not be returning. read more

Located in the heart of Fairlawn, off of the Hilton Hotel, this grille creates a fun environment for a casual night out or a good setting for an event. My first time here was for a rehearsal dinner. I've eaten at dozens of restaurants in the Fairlawn area but never made it around to trying out Beau's. Our party was through the Hilton hotel and outside near the swimming pool. There was a large covered patio with a beautiful fire pit right outside. There was plenty of seating and a great environment for a private party. For my meal, I selected the chicken kabobs. With that came rice pilaf and broccoli, a side salad to start and a hot fudge sundae for dessert. The chicken was cooked to perfection, the broccoli was fresh and crisp and the rice was the right texture. The house salad was fresh and the sundae was loaded with hot fudge. If there is one thing that I could change, there was no separation of flavors in my entree between the chicken, rice and broccoli. Everything was covered with the same sauce which made it all taste the same. Other than that everything else was good. I look forward to coming back here and ordered from their menu. read more

Not sure what all to say about Beau's that hasn't been said. Attended a work dinner here a while back for a group of about 8 people. We ordered several appetizers, all of which were great! I particularly liked the Funky Tuna Tartare, but I'm a sucker for fresh tuna! The fried cheese was really good, and so were the Stuffed Banana Peppers! (Spicy though, which is how I like them, but, not for everyone in our party) I also had the Salmon entree, which was cooked perfectly! Kudos to the waiter, she suggested the salmon after I debated between that and the halibut special. She said she loves halibut, but for that particular presentation, they were frying it, which is not what I prefer for fish that good! Anyways, I don't really drink wine, but the rest of our party seemed to really enjoy the wine selection, and a few people said they were impressed by some of the bottles. We also spent some time in the lounge, where it seemed like there was a good crowd both early in the evening, and a little bit later. I've been here before in the past and have always had great meals. Was here the other day for a rehearsal dinner and they did a fantastic job taking care of everything! Is odd to see dining rooms at restaurants empty when they are typically crowded with smells of delicious food and friends and family laughing and truly enjoying themselves. Beau's still has pickup availability although a limited menu. I ordered buffalo wings, pirogies and chocolate layer cake. I always enjoy my meals at Beau's as the do an excellent job of preparation. We stopped in to Beau's this evening on our quest to taste the fare in and around our new home in Medina. My wife recommended this place based on Open Table reviews. I checked it out on yelp and it also received good reviews here. So off we went. Upon arrival, we realized the restaurant was located inside a Hilton Hotel, which was nice. The decor was modern and very appealing. The six of us were immediately seated and the restaurant was running a lean staff and menu due to the recent holiday. I ordered a Stella Artois and we were served bread and water. The reduced menu had a decent selection. My wife ordered the pot stickers appetizer, which ended up being a meal in itself. They were very tasty. For dinner, I ordered chicken stir fry. My stir fry was sweet and after eating about half of it, the sauce became slightly annoying. It had a good, rich flavor, but because it had the same sauce as the pot stickers, it grew old on me. Also, the chicken was over cooked and a bit hard. I tasted my son's pizza and french fries and they were very good. My wife's chicken Parmesan was delicious. Overall, the meal was very tasty, but very pricey. For example, the chicken Parmesan was $20. That's about $5.00 more than a typical restaurant in the area. It did include two whole chicken breasts, but it was too much food for my wife to eat at one sitting. So it would be better to only serve one chicken breast, or just charge less for two. With tip, our bill for six with drinks included was about $250. We were hoping for a regular night out, but ouch! My mother-in-law, who is allergic to shell fish, ordered salmon. When it arrived, it smelled 'different' to her. She ate every bit of it and thought it was excellent. But right when we got home, she felt sick and tossed her cookies in the porcelain throne. read more

The first time I ate here I ate in the bar and just ordered bread pudding. I really wasn't impressed. But I am a picky dessert person. I have eaten breakfast twice her over a few weeks and the breakfast including the buffet is very good. A wee pricey but good for a hotel. Well tonight I ordered a pizza pepperoni and onion. Well the dough is fresh and flavorful. The sauce is a wee sweet but has a nice almost spicy finish. Great combo. The cheese is perfect for the pizza. I would gladly come back here just for the pizza. She forgot about us because when the rest of our party showed up she started seating then and never came back for us. We got seated in a pit line area by the fireplace and after a few minutes of no one offering drinks we got up to make sure we were not forgotten. We went to the buffet area to find all but one container empty. The hostess informed us that was all there was and suggested we try First Watch. I really like Beau's. Everything about it! The superfoods salad is a brilliantly creative mix of ingredients that I'd never think to put together. Add salmon and it's the stuff dreams are made of. I personally think it's the best salmon in Akron! Perfectly grilled every time and a large portion. I love all the different seating options - from the room with the bar to the covered patio (my favorite), the fireplace seats, and a few umbrella tables just past the patio. Portions are quite large and a few items can be ordered in half sizes which are still plenty large. Prices are standard for the area. COVID precautions are in full effect. I was dining with a few of my friends and family, as it was my 57th birthday. The waitress then came to me, excited as could be! She was the sweetest gal I've ever spoken to. We came here several months ago for my aunt's retirement dinner. It is located in the Hilton Hotel in Fairlawn across from the mall. I found the decor inside very cozy and formal, perfect for a nice dinner out with family or a significant other. We started off with the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and they were by far the best I have ever had. The breading reminded me of a light wonton wrapper and the gooey cheese was out of this world, they are obviously homemade! The marinara they came with for dipping was delicious as well! I got the shrimp carbonara for my entree and the portion was huge! I never take food home but it was so much that I couldn't finish! The shrimp was sautéed nicely and they gave a generous portion of bacon and veggies with the pasta as well. My entire party got an array of mixed drinks and wine and all were spectacular.
