    Pasta and seafood linguini

We made a reservation to celebrate a special occasion and it didn't disappoint. The candles, white table cloth, and music set the perfect mood for the occasion. The staff were very friendly as well. The bread... amazing. The fondue for two was even better. It was the perfect blend of cheese with perfectly cooked beef tenderloins portobello fries, and asparagus spears. The only reason why I gave it a 4/5 was because the pasta and seafood linguini was heavily salted. The flavor was there, but I could only take a few bites before asking them to pack it up to go.

This is easily one of my favorite fancy restaurants in the city. Not only is the food always incredible every time I go, but it also isn't too outrageously expensive which I appreciate. The restaurants environment is very romantic and great. The servers are always friendly with good reccomendations. If you like mushrooms you need to get the stuffed portobello. It is one of my all time favorite plates in the city. The main dishes were also amazing. You really can't go wrong with this place!

Great food. Great service and nice ambiance. This place has more of a romantic vibe but the food and drink were delicious.

This was our second time going to The Left Bank, and it was overall a great experience again. For appetizers we started out with the fondue for two, which was pretty good although we agreed we don't think we would get it again personally. The steak pieces included in that were the highlight. Otherwise it wasn't bad, but not really thrilling and felt like a weird mix. For dinner I got the panko breaded chicken after seeing positive reviews on here, and it was delicious! The salad on top had great flavor, the chicken was crispy on the outside but the inside was still juicy. My fiancé got the house ravioli which he said was good, but after trying my dish he wished he had gotten the panko chicken instead. For dessert we got the flourless chocolate cake- my goodness that was even better than we anticipated. This was a great Saturday night date spot as the vibe is romantic in there with the dim lighting and candlelit tables. The only real downside to our experience this time was that we had a reservation at 8:15 and had to wait for 20 minutes to get our table, which is tough when you're already eating late. However, we could understand that they were very busy on a Saturday night. The hostess was apologetic and the service thereafter was quick and efficient.

Food was excellent. Server not so much. I remember coming here back in the day and they would recite the specials. Now they just place them in front of you on a piece of paper. The waitress barely stopped by the table, I actually had to order a drink with a busboy. The food was so good though, it made up for the bad service.

My boyfriend and I went here for the first time this past weekend and we were extremely impressed. We heard a lot of great reviews from friends but were so pleasantly surprised when it truly lived up to the hype. The ambiance is formal and quiet yet slightly rustic. Drinks and apps were phenomenal. We both agree this will be our new spot. Also not that expensive in my opinion compared to other high end restaurants in the area.

We also got the asparagus soup which was good, fresh, and extremely asparagus flavor... recommend only if you love asparagus. The fritters in it were a perfect balance! We ended the night sharing the strawberry Fusilli pasta which was good but not the best plate we had all night. Drinks were delicious and well crafted. **Catered Event: Board of Directors' Dinner**…read more Numerous locals recommended Bacchus Wine Bar & Restaurant as an excellent choice for formal occasions, and it proved to be a wonderful venue for our Board of Directors' dinner. I hosted a dinner for twenty (board members and their guests) and was especially impressed by the catering manager, who patiently guided me through the many decisions involved in planning the event and personally welcomed me on the evening of the dinner. The waitstaff were attentive and seemed to anticipate our needs, and the private dining room was both relaxing and quiet. We chose the "King's Table," which allowed all twenty guests to sit together around one large table. The room and table settings were beautiful, creating an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere. The event menu allowed me to select three salads, three entrées, and two desserts for our guests. Printed menus were placed at every setting, offering a gracious welcome and making the ordering process easy and efficient. I heard from many guests that their meals were excellent. I especially enjoyed the beet salad with goat cheese and the crème brûlée cheesecake. My filet mignon, unfortunately, was tougher than I had expected. The pecan-crusted salmon looked marvelous, and I found myself wishing I had chosen it instead. The pricing was also extremely reasonable for the quality of the setting, service, and overall experience. Each dinner was $85 and included a salad, entrée, and dessert. Bacchus provided a beautiful and memorable evening for our board, and I would gladly recommend it for a private dinner or formal gathering.

We were in town attending a large national conference for families affected by their condition, and many conference attendees were also staying at the hotel. When we arrived, the restaurant appeared to be about 80% empty. Our children mentioned to the waitress that they were hungry and tired, and the first response we received was, "Do you have a reservation?" She explained that they couldn't seat us because they were expecting a large party. Instead of being seated at a regular table, we were directed to the bar area, where the bartender kindly took care of us despite the fact that our group included two minors. We stayed for over an hour, and during that time, the large party never arrived. Meanwhile, we watched other guests without reservations get seated at tables without any apparent issue. The experience left us feeling singled out and, ultimately, discriminated against. Whether that was the intention or not, it reflected a disappointing lack of empathy and inclusion--especially considering that so many families with children with disabilities were staying at the hotel for the conference. I'm giving Bella Ciao three stars because the food was decent, the portions were generous, and the bartender provided good service. Unfortunately, the way we were treated upon arrival overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable dining experience.

This trip I had some of the Mushroom Plate!! Absolutely amazing!! No idea how they made these mushrooms taste to incredibly delicious but they did!! To tell you this pizze was Devine would be an understatement!! Between the mushroom plate and the summer squash pizze this meal was delicious. For dessert there was a chocolate chip cookie that tasted like espresso and carmel with vanilla gelato. This was the only thing that was a bit too much. It was just too sweet even though the ingredients were top notch. There was also a four cheese pizze which was a rich blend of mozzarella, Gorgonzola, parmigiana reggiano and white sauce. Again it was an excellent pizze. Also the olive oil cake with lemon curd!!! This cake was definitely my favorite dessert. You can't go wrong with this choice for dessert. So for a truly yummy meal with excellent service and a charming setting, I again highly recommend Aroma on Bryant.

After ordering our drinks we were told our table was ready but that we had to pay our bar tab separately which was rather annoying. The food however was quite lovely. We ordered several special seasonal vegetable dishes: tomatoes with ricotta, beautiful beets, wild mushrooms. All very delicious. Because of all of the delicious vegetables I opted to order a pizza assuming I'd take most of it home which I did. My husband couldn't resist the short rib and let me devour more of the veg to save room for it. I'm pretty sure he still took some home and had it for breakfast the next morning. The drinks were very nice and artfully presented. Judging from how slammed the bar area was they must always do a great job with cocktails here. Will come again. Highly suggest you try any local seasonal vegetable dishes as they will be stunning fresh and delicious. The wood fired pizza was also very good and is a very reasonably priced option to share for dinner paired with a small dish. Another very good restaurant to keep in rotation.
