What I did not expect was Brightview's management team making me feel very pressured into moving my dad to memory care before I thought it was appropriate. I felt like they were argumentative and abrasive in their meeting with me, and their reasons for wanting to move him were alarming and scary. I wish I had known at the time that as a family member you have the right to see the staff's written reports about your loved one, you don't have to take management's word for it. In my case, I installed a video camera in my dad's room which proved to me that their assessments of him were not accurate. They added unnecessary additional stress and worry to what is already an incredibly hard thing to go through, and they made me fearful because I could no longer trust them. I removed my dad from Brightview's care as quickly as I could and he is now living in a new community.

My father was sent to Manor Care Fair Oaks for rehab following a fall that resulted in a serious…read morehead injury (from which he was quite confused and agitated) and a lengthy hospital stay. He came out with two stage 2 pressure sores, which the ER staff at the nearest hospital discovered after one of his 3 falls in 2 weeks. They found the sores while cleaning old, crusted excrement off of his buttocks because the staff at the "rehab" facility couldn't be bothered to help him to the bathroom. They just put him in a diaper and then refused to change or clean him. When I brought this to the director's attention she said the ER nurse was lying. Then she yelled at me, saying my father wasn't an appropriate patient for the facility. Somehow this didn't stop her from accepting him as a patient and cashing his Medicare checks, but whatever. Another time I visited, my father smelled like feces, which nobody did anything about until I asked multiple times. When it was all over, the room still reeked because they left sh*t smeared on the wall (see pictures). When I alerted the staff to the problem, they shrugged and didn't do anything for 30+ minutes, so I ended up cleaning it myself. Another time I came to visit, my father almost fell, but I managed to catch him and lower him gently to the ground because I'm not strong enough to deadlift a 175-lb human. When nobody came to see what happened (this wasn't a quiet situation), I peeked around the corner to the nurse's desk and nobody was there. I called for help for 10 minutes before someone showed up, and they acted annoyed that I was yelling while my father was lying on the cold, hard, dirty floor. The doctor who supposedly oversees care for the patients in the facility, without examining him or doing any tests, diagnosed my father with diabetes, which he didn't have. He was taking a medication commonly prescribed for diabetes, but he was taking it for heart failure. I hope she doesn't actually treat patients. Finally, when I sprung my father from that hellhole, I was presented with a garbage bag full of laundry, which they had told me they were sending out to be washed. Everything was soaked in urine, and there were solid pieces of feces in the bag. I suspect this might have been because I complained about how my father was neglected. My father died in hospice at a better-staffed and -managed place 2 weeks after I got him out of this abusive, corrupt excuse for a health care facility. He probably would've died around then anyway, but it haunts me that he spent some of the last weeks of his life in that horrible place where he was ignored and neglected while he was confused and scared. They should be shut down. Don't let anyone you love go anywhere near this place.

Kid, yes kid goes - you use those in Your exercise center. So much for HIPPA. And that was my first career, my second was Director of HR Told him I wanted the protocol n the HR director. Did I get them. No, but I did get someone else meds. Know your meds! My daughter came to pull me early. She's a Dr. No notes on my case among other issues n she reported to State. DO NO COME HERE!

This raises serious concerns, if there is only one provider available, does that mean care is limited based on specialty alone? What happens if the doctor is a pediatrician -- would adults then be turned away as well? Urgent care centers are supposed to provide basic, accessible care, especially in situations where patients need timely attention. Turning away a minor accompanied by a parent due to internal staffing limitations does not seem reasonable or patient-centered. This clinic is worthless

I see her and she basically cannot do what one needs at a well woman exam and tells me to schedule with a GYN. She said it shouldn't take too long. I call and earliest appointment 2 months from now. Why is she seeing women for WWE if she's "uncomfortable" prescribing HRT. What a waste of time.

At Ortho, I spent about 30 minutes with one on one with my therapist and then 30 minutes with a Personal Assistant guiding me through the exercises. I will say that if the appointments were structured in a way where I had 30 minutes each visit with Pramod, I think it would have been great, but this is not ACE's business model

My Mother didn't require a great deal of assistance but she certainly deserved a caregiver who was engaging. All of the nighttime care that they provided slept the entire time, every night. I know this because we had cameras set up which we notified the agency of. We had a few caregivers who were lovely, but often time we had to ask for substitutions. When my Mother passed they didn't even have the decency to reach out to us. Even when I text one of my contacts with The Key to notify them of this I still never heard a single word. It is clear that they are a business and care more about making money then the care they provide. Very disappointed.

There is no question of when the aide arrives or departs as the aide must "clock-in" and "clock-out" using the homephone of the patient. Billing is weekly and in any form the client choses-electronically of paper check. I recommend this firm without hesitation

Walked in for my first apt in a boot nearly 3 months ago and now i'm out of the boot and getting very close to full mobility in my ankle, ALL BECAUSE of THEM!!! Their knowledge, support, encouragement and true commitment to help me, allowed me to heal better, faster and more completely than would have EVER happened without them. I have heard awful stories about physical therapists that friends have gone to so i didn't have much faith in the process, but i got REALLY lucky when i picked this practice. Rob is my Doctor there, and he, along with Melissa and Kellie, as therapists, have worked together to solve my recovery issues. It is ALL because of them that i will have a full and complete recovery with full mobility. As a 59 year old that has been very active my entire life, a full recovery was critical to me and my quality of life. I trusted them enough to do whatever it took to heal my injury and was consistent in the home assignments I was given. If anyone reading this has a current or old injury and you want to fully recover, THIS is the place to do it. Its a large, well lit, fully equipped facility. This place was recommended by a PT from another organization where scheduling had become difficult…read more My teenage kid had ACL surgery and was three weeks post-op when we came here. As a travel athlete, the goal of rehab is not only healing but returning to peak performance. The first PT who assessed my kid was not friendly - I would probably say she was a bit condescending, and made us feel bad for allowing knee bending exercises, something both the surgeon and the previous PT had encouraged. She instructed us to stop all bending exercises, including heel slides, until further notice. When she sarcastically asked my kid to lift a straight leg and immediately pointed out the inability to do so, my kid explained that the foot was stuck on the table base. No chance to let her try again, PT moved on to whatever was next on her list of things to do. Despite nothing appearing abnormal in recovery, the PT dismissed our explanations and remained condescending throughout. I simply said we'd email the doctor's protocol to her rather than argue. We later learned from the second PT - not from scheduling, check-in, or even the first PT herself - that the initial PT was leaving in a couple of weeks as she was a traveling PT, and we'd be reassigned to someone else. Given that ACL rehab typically lasts 7-12 months (a timeframe she herself confirmed), it was disappointing that this wasn't disclosed upfront. It reflected a lack of continuity and care for the patient experience. The second PT was much kinder and even seemed surprised by the "no bending" instruction. He gave my kid very basic quad engagement exercises on the table with light stretching. However, he was clearly managing multiple patients at once, leaving my kid waiting between exercises. The appointment also ran to about 80 minutes, despite being told it would last an hour, and only ended because I mentioned we had to get to school. Afterward, I contacted the doctor, who advised us to stop going there immediately since not bending the knee could harm recovery. I would not recommend this place, especially for young athletes.
