Just ate lunch there this week and got the lunch Stromboli with knots. The four was for the cashier being nice and efficient and the quick service overall. The stromboli (a three star) was good although I heard a backroom comment that it was the last one and it was 12:30ish? Also the stromboli is restricted to only one choice (premade I guess?) .The knots were a huge improvement over the visit a few years at another location in their golden garlicky goodness. But sometimes love can shine through in food and this one was kinda cold overall. I know it's tough but always shine if you represent pizza down to the garlic knots. read more

First timer to The Garlic Knot..... chose to order online in hopes to get food back home quickly for my family. When I completed the order at 6:02pm, the site stated "Pickup time: 20 MIN". I showed up at about 6:20pm and paid for my food at the counter. The cashier told me that it would "just a bit longer." I didn't get my food until 6:47pm! No explanation or apologies whatsoever. All they asked was if I wanted crushed peppers and parm. Although I was frustrated for waiting double the quoted time, I was hoping the food would be worth it. It wasn't that great.... we got a Combo pizza that barely had pepperoni or sausage, if any. The garlic knots were ok. I would've gave 3 stars if the food didn't take so long. I travel to highlands ranch from Toronto Canada a few times a year, I discovered this place my last visit and was beyond pleased with their in house staff. I'm visiting right now and have had delivery twice by two of the most fantastic delivery guys ever! Not only were they fast but they were sweet as could be. We got a hang tag flyer on our door from The Garlic Knot and decided to give their food a try. We decided to try the take and bake version of their pizza and ordered online for delivery to our home. It look a great deal like a Papa Murphy's pizza, same type of cooking sheet, same plastic film wrapped packaging, soft dough and toppings, but half again as expensive as PM's. So I looked for it to be that much better than PM's, but in my opinion, theirs is better than the Knot's. The Knot's crust was dismally soft, making the pie very unsatisfying, not to mention difficult to eat. I had to use a knife and fork and I hate having to eat pizza that way, especially a pie that claims to be Neapolitan-style. Unlike some reviews here, I didn't find the crust to be soggy, but it started soft and stayed that way after it was cooked and we followed the cooking instructions to the T. The only reason I gave the review 2 stars was because the toppings themselves were good. The meats were tasty, the sauce was decent and the cheese was plentiful, although I had to rearrange everything on the dough because it appeared that the pizza had been tipped in transit and much of it had slid to one side. I'm not sure if our results would have been different if we had tried a standard, cooked and delivered pizza rather than the take and bake, but I don't know that we're likely to find out after this kind of initial experience. Uncharacteristically, we didn't even save the 3 left over slices as neither of us felt like we'd ever eat them. read more

Disappointed that the app allows you to order from this restaurant, called my hotel to confirm my room number and then 20 minutes later sent a text telling me that there are no drivers to deliver. I then called the restaurant and was told by them that the Hyatt is out of their delivery area. Over the holidays my pizza-loving family decided to try The Garlic Knot. It was a regrettable decision. The hostess was friendly and energetic, but the main waiter seemed out of sorts (high?) and forgetful in taking our order and giving us drink refills. We ordered off of the menu but the waiter was struggling to get the order right and three times he read it back to us he had something wrong. I think we had three different guys: one to take our order, one to deliver the appetizer and another to bring out our entrees. We started with the cheesy garlic knots. The dough was good. We tried the veggie calzone, alfredo pasta, and my husband had some meat pizza. We all had the same reaction, it was greasy and had an unusual and unpleasant taste in each of the three dishes. To make it a completely miserable experience, the staff thought it was a good idea to leave the outside doors open and let the freezing night air in. I've ordered Garlic Knot pizza for delivery a few times and have been very pleased! Consistent flavor and quick delivery even though I live just outside of their delivery zone. Their pizza and garlic knots are classic, but I was a little underwhelmed with the salads. That being said, you can't beat the price. I'm a big fan of the Garlic Knot. They have some of the best NY style pizza, and it's reasonably priced. One of the absolute best things though is their cheese covered garlic knots. Those are to die for (I mean they are pretty greasy, cardiac incident here I come!). Also their location here is perfect, right next to a gym (so you can decide between exercise or deliciousness), and a brewery (pretty good beer). Their wings aren't my favorite though, so maybe skip on those. I've never really eaten in there so I'm not sure if their service is good. I just got the take out. read more

I placed an order which included a gluten-free pizza. The last time I was there, they recommended I get the pizza to go as they couldn't guarantee their oven was gluten-free. When I went to pick up my order, they had given me a regular pizza instead of a gf one and said they didn't make pizza's to go. They also said they couldn't guarantee any of their gf items would be gf due to flour being in the air. They finally said they would make a pizza I could cook at home but put all the ingredients in a bag and said I would have to assemble it myself. To add insult to injury, they still charged me for the pizza that wasn't gf! They didn't offer to refund my money either. I will certainly not go back and recommend any person with celiac disease avoid them as well. Who advertises they have gf when they can't guarantee the item is! This place is a joke. The food is mediocre at best and way overpriced for the quality. Please save yourself the time and money and do not go here. This place is in my neighborhood so I've tried it a couple times and every time has been a disappointment. I've seen a cashier go and make my salad for a pickup order and not even wash her hands before doing so, while touching the lettuce. And when I asked her to remake it she acted suprised. Really? Also, the one time I tried to dine in the tables were dirty, even the one I was sat in had dirty napkins and food bits under the table. The manager or owner or whoever he is, is very rude. Seriously some of the worst food i have eaten in a long time, and I eat some garbage. Garlic knots seemed as if they were thrown in the microwave for 30 seconds and called cooked. The cinna knots looked like they were dragged through someones buttcrack and tasted similiar... if you couid even chew them up. Which brings us to the stock exchange pizza, i didnt try it simply on looks alone, but it made my buddy run to the toilet after 3 pieces. One 16 inch, five piece garlic knots, and 10 piece cinna knot came up to $31 with tip... total waste of cash. Do yourself a favor and go to dominoes right across the parking lot. Wow! I have some friends from New York over for about a week now. They wanted to taste what N.Y. style pizza Colorado has to offer so I took them to Big Bill last Wednesday and Garlic Knot Pizza last night. They were quite impressed! I will save Big Bill review for them but my friends like the Garlic Knot better and I have to agreed. First off, there were plenty of parkings. The place was so clean and neat, I guess that is because they are new. Second, our server was amazing, he was attentive and was so friendly; and the owner/manager came by a couple times and chatted with us. Most important of all, their foods were delicious as my friends were amazed. We started with their garlic knots and wings. The knots were flavorful and lived up to their name. The wings were good, it came with a side of ranch and that was really good. We ordered a large "Stock Exchange" pizza. The crust were thin and crispy, the cheeses and toppings were just delightful. This was such a great place to eat, I had such a polite young man as my waiter, this young girl was up in the front handling everything very professionally, she was very bright when I walked in. My waiter, his name was V, was such a sweetheart, he made my son smile and laugh. He was very nice and friendly, he made us laugh, and made sure everything was to our liking. The only thing that I have to say that was bad, was probably the kitchen's attitude. I overheard two of the gentlemen arguing, I had my son with me. My son thankfully didn't hear anything they were saying, he was in the restroom at the time. I would definitely say, I would come back again. The two young kids certainly brightened my day. They have great food, great customer service, and a very fantastic work environment. So, thank you Garlic Knot. You really have changed my perspective on the pizza. The prices online are listed lower than they charge in house and they will honor the prices but comes as a refund on your card. Not only are the prices inconsistent they are very disorganized. While paying there was no apology only blaming the IT staff. The food is good I wish the manger would take responsibility instead of blaming someone else. read more
