A convenient little diner/cafe in an area that desperately welcomes more food options! I stopped for a quick lunch pick up. Easy to find and plenty of available parking out front. The menu is pretty large, but I'd say a lot of it is breakfast and they had finished serving breakfast at 11 am. I got the Chipotle Chicken Wrap which seemed like a new item, and a California Burger for David. Chipotle Chicken Wrap: Pretty standard and nothing incredibly mindblowing. The amount of jalapenos they put in there made it pretty spicy. Picked them out and gave it to David. I did like that they make it on a spinach wrap. California Burger: The patty was almost paper thin and definitely from frozen. It tasted fine and wasn't gross or anything, but not something I'd get again. Would be nice if both the burger and wrap came with a side to make it more of a meal tha just the sandwich alone. The service was quick and it seemed like the kitchen staff cooking behind the counter was efficient. I didn't wait long for my two items. Seemed like others eating at the cafe were regulars who may work in the area. Convenient for a quick lunch during break, I'd come back and try their other options or maybe that breakfast burrito which sounds like one of their most highlighted items. read more

My rating is for the breakfast sandwich's. They were better than driving through a fast food line. We had a croissant with real bacon and egg. Also a bagel with bacon egg and cheeE. Both were good and reasonably priced. $5-6 The buritto egg sandwich had excellent potatoes inside. $7. Drinks 2.50 It's super casual. Diner feel. You order at the counter. Tucked away a bit right off Exit 18 on 270, this little spot is one of those hidden gems people love to find. Being in an industrial park it has limited hours but a great lunch spot. The steak and cheese is very good and just the right amount of food, so you don't feel like taking a nap afterward. Run by the friendliest family, you'll be greeted with an enthusiastic hello when you walk in the door. Highly recommended! read more

This is a nice spot! It's tucked away in a office building lot. So parking is not an issue and finding this place was not hard either. Walking in I was greeted by a very nice lady. She welcomed me and told me to take my time since it was my first time being there. I ordered the French toast platter and the pancake platter. It cost $23 for the two meals and the only thing that was bothersome was the meat portion sizes. They only gave me one slice of ham with this large platter. I ordered an extra for my husbands plate and it came with one piece of sausage for $3. Usually IHOP will give you more for the additional cost. Either way the food was good for what it was. The pancakes were somewhat dry but the French toast was good! I would definitely come back here! They have a nice selection of seating inside and they serve lunch here as well. I want to try their lunch menu next time for sure. I thought it was super cool that there were birds outside the restaurant that we got to see cool. There were peanuts on the ground for them to pick up, so that was nice to see while waiting for my food. Haha read more

Traveling through places you often don't have much time to stop and eat so it leaves me looking for a place that's quick and local so what I found here was a small little cafe right off the freeway that's tucked into a business park like how can you go wrong with that? Coming here I only ordered a bacon breakfast sandwich on wheat bread it was that with some cheese nothing more nothing less than something yummy and quick! With that I asked for some hot sauce and it was all for what was quick and yummy if I worked in this business park I would totally stop by here again! Overall a mellow little place that's quick and easy with lots of options besides breakfast so who knows if I'll ever get here again but it's definitely not out of the question when I'm on the road traveling looking for a breakfast sandwich. read more

We stopped by this place by accident. We are so glad that we did. It is a mom and pop deli. The owners were very friendly and food was excellent. I was looking for breakfast so I ordered the veggie omelet. It was perfectly cooked and I loved it. I ate every bite. My husband wanted a sandwich so he ordered a turkey club on wheat. This is a great spot for breakfast or lunch. Think of the neighborhood cafe near your office and this is it. They serve breakfast item's like pancakes and French toast. No grits, but fried potatoes comes with the platters. I like there chicken salad sandwich on a sub roll. In the summer, it seems like the have the freshest fruit. The green salads are good as well. They have a variety of drinks, chips, muffins, and candy. The staff are so nice and helpful. You won't wait long for anything you order. I stopped in here today after having blood drawn and maybe it was just that I was very, very hungry, but I don't think so. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese croissant with extra bacon on the side and I sampled the bacon first. It was perfect; not overdone yet perfectly crispy. The sandwich was very close to being maybe the best breakfast sandwich I've had ever. The only thing I would've added would be a little bit of black pepper. The croissant was steamy and hot and buttery, the eggs were perfectly cooked, and the melty cheese was so savory and not too salty. Altogether, it was just the perfect bite for me at the perfect time. The people were friendly, the restaurant looked clean, my order came up so fast and they have a huge menu with all kinds of bottled drinks, chips and pieces of cake ready to grab and go. They had various salads and specials such as fried chicken. You can sit and nosh or grab it and dash. This place has everything and the coffee was good. I'm definitely going to go back! read more

Happy to have found this place! Did not know it was here! Take the energy of a successful Chinese restaurant and put it in an American deli and that's what you have here. Lots of people behind the counter, all working fast to deliver you good food quickly. Friendly and efficient. Prices are fair. Can't wait to try the breakfast. I love this place! Great little local cafe with plenty of options, good prices, and pretty good food. It's next to the offices, so I have had food from there plenty of times. The Philly cheesesteak combo is pretty good and the chicken chipotle wrap is great. Only thing I didn't like so far has been the chicken tender basket, it was generic store bought tenders. We really wanted breakfast this morning so we decided to try the gateway café. They answered the phone and they were very pleasant over the phone although there was no menu online we still took a chance. I ordered a steak and egg croissant and my friend had a steak and egg bagel neither one of us got cheese because it was a $.65 up charge fine. when I arrive to pick up the food I asked if there is a paper menu for future orders and she said no you just have to take a picture of the menu when we got home and got the food out the bags I was confused because the home fries were not in a container, but in a plastic bowl wrapped in foil, which the boat was soggy, the potatoes, left any seasoning, and there was no fried onions or any flavor to them as far as the croissant complete waste of money, they use to thin sheets of steak him's and maybe a half an egg the croissant wasn't even a full croissant. It was the small ones that you get at Walmart I would not recommend breakfast from here. read more

This is close to my work so very convenient. The food is always good. You can go for breakfast and lunch and not be disappointed. For breakfast: I've had the bacon,egg, and cheddar sandwich! The French toast platter is so big you can share! As for lunch: the salads are good with delicious homemade croutons, the philly cheese steak with fries excellent! The Reuben is the best I have ever had and they give you a generous portion. And the shrimp salad BLT. Yum!! Also homemade shrimp salad. Most of their stuff is made from scratch and it's delicious. What a hidden gem in Clarksburg! Have been here many times and have tried quite a few different items from the menu. I've liked everything I've tried and it is always prepared pretty quickly. They are only open for the hours of a work day, so no getting dinner after work here. But they are open for breakfast hours during the week and on Saturdays. This is right down the road from my office and I was looking for something different because Clarksburg offers pretty much no food options. Overall it is a decent place, the food is average, made to order, and inexpensive. The chicken cheese steak is nothing to be excited about. It tastes fine but it isn't overly big or interesting. It does come with fries which have salt and pepper on them, the fries are the best thing I've had here. The chicken Caesar wrap isn't bad either. It is a decent lunch option. I've also had their chicken salad triple decker. It is kind of misleading because the chicken salad is between two slices of bread and you have one slice of bacon and lettuce between the other two slices... This is a place you can get something to eat quickly and cheaply. It's not expensive because the food quality isn't the highest. But honestly its OK, because there are no other options within at least 5 miles. Its a food desert around here!! I will go and try their breakfasts one day, I imagine they are pretty solid. read more
