I bought an 11-year-old used MINI Cooper. Even though it had been garaged and had clean bodywork and paint, two areas needed addressing: 1) evidence of rats under the hood (eww, poop and chewed wires ), and 2) the car smelled like dog and I could see fur on the headliner. I got the Full Interior and Engine Bay services. Holy wow, after the detailing the car looks NEW!! It didn't occur to me to take before and after pictures, I wish I could show you. Both the engine bay and the interior of the car are now pristine. Leather seats were conditioned, they're now gorgeous and I'm extremely happy. Kudos to Kevin and his crew for doing an excellent job. I cannot thank Kevin and the team at AutoWerks Detailing enough for getting my car back to normal. Over the weekend, I did not see a spray can on the road and ran it over causing for it to explode and get white paint all over the driver side of my car. Kevin (and his team) are true professionals and are not afraid of a challenge. Wash/wax/sealant services are top notch. No interior grease, just a good solid deep clean & protectant. Paint correction services are amazing! The transformation on my hood as well as several examples of cars in the local enthusiast community are incredible. (Note: this goes for both older single stage and newer base/clear) I also had custom vinyl graphics designed and printed that were replicas of a racing livery from the 80's. I met Kevin at a BMW 2002 meet earlier this year, we started discussing vintage BMW's and the subject of car detailing came up. He mentioned that he owned a Detail company called Auto Werks Detailing and he mentioned that he does mobile detailing. I was thinking that my BMW 135 M package required a detailing but I was unsure who to use. I called Kevin thinking that mobile service sounds great. Thoughts of driving 30 miles and spending 4 hours having your car detailed did not sound appealing. Plus I checked him out on Yelp (thank you), saw five star reviews plus I saw pictures of his customers cars on Instagram. For my BMW 135 M package he did a Full n Exterior Detail w/ interior clean, one of the services he offers. The package I chosed consists of cleaning the car with a waterless clean, clay bar, Compound/Polish, Sealant Wax windows and most important cleaning those expensive wheels. Cleaning wheels is the ultimate pain, my wife says Why do you spend that time doing it...because all guys look at the wheels and tires. Kevin can also professionally wash your car, probably better then most of us. Kevin is knowledgeable about cars and detail products, hence why it is a good idea to call him vs applying some Megiuars or Turtle Wax to your precious automobile yourself. Can't tell you how wonderful the service was from Auto Werks. He walked me through what my 1997 BMW M3 was going to undergo and provided pictures as he progressed. This was the first time I was getting a car detailed and I didn't know what to expect, but I can assure you that you CANNOT go wrong with Auto Werks. To begin I knew The M car was a difficult one to work with because the whole car was covered in sap, pollen, bird shit and other irritants that had etched into the paint. Keep in mind I purchased that car this way from some JACKass who decided to keep the floor mats and the spanner wrenches for the coil overs, but I digress. The M had some bad peeling on the roof's clear coat and since it was sitting outside for months the paint was just taking a beating. There were swirl marks EVERYWHERE and oxidation on the front and rear bumpers. Countless chips around the car with the majority being on the hood. With all this taken into account my expectations were low due to the condition of the paint on the car. Nonetheless Auto Werks told me while it was going to be the most difficult car he has worked on, it was going to look so much better after he was done with and thats the thing.. Auto Werks' enthusiasm when he presented the process for The M was the selling point. When someone takes a lot of pride on their work and they show you that by their actions, it makes working with them so much better. What began as a purchase for a service, became an experience that makes you more interested in detailing and keeping the car clean after. As Auto Werks sent me updates I couldn't wait for Thursday to come by. I dropped the car off on Tuesday and he had it ready in 2 days! Unbelievable turn around time for a car that was in dire need of a professionals gentle, but stern touch. When I got my car back I didn't know where to look, the WHOLE car had gone through a transformation that I had to be walked through it to piece it all together. The oxidation on the bumpers had been treated and then painted, the roof's clear coat had been sanded down, and the swirl marks were drastically reduced. Everything that I had requested to be work on was done wonderfully! The finished product was a beautiful black car that I couldn't take my eyes off of. I would drive it to work and admire how the light from the garage lights would accentuate the side profile, but the better part was looking at it during dusk. The paint had its gloss back and the reflections of the dim but rich lighting was beautiful as it now reflected color. I also left a set of LTWs with him to refinished so I will post an update when I have time to pick those up. If you're considering having your car detailed you must use Auto Werks detailing. I recently decided on wanting to dip my 5th Generation Camaro rims matte-black and wanted to do it properly by taking the wheels/rims completly off one by one rather than putting a plastic bag over the caliper's and half-a**ing it. I saw a few listings in the area and when I came across a listing that was located in Foster City, I was very thrilled because that mean I have to literally travel minutes to get to my destination. I sent an e-mail to 'Auto Werks Detailing' and received a reply from Kevin. Kevin was very flexible and willing to work with me by giving me a VERY reasonable price-quote for all the labor required with my vehicle's 20" rims/tires. I drove on over to Kevin's business location and was very happy with his expertise and professionalism since the moment I arrived! I was about to UBER a car to take me to work this past Wednesday morning, but he offered to drive me to work which was very cool! We stayed in touch throughout the day as he sent me a few updates on my dipped rims in progress and I was very excited. I had Kevin drive my car back to my business location and was in smiles when I saw him pull up in a business parking lot near my work location. He did an outstanding job and did it right!
