We called RMA Handyman Service to get a bid for the drywall repair and they were very responsive. Russ came out that week and gave us a very reasonable estimate. They began the repairs the following week and Russ, Josh, and Jonah were incredibly professional. They lad down paper and drop cloths to protect our home from dust and debris. They cleaned up each day and made our home livable, despite to volume of work they were performing each day. The entire house took 3 days and after they were finished you couldn't tell there had ever been a massive rewiring project done. I called Pierce County Handyman for reinstalling 4 outside corner sections of baseboard and adjusting 2 transition pieces that had been installed improperly previously. They scheduled me for a visit about a week later so an estimate could be provided. Then a day before the scheduled visit, they asked to reschedule it due to a personal reason. I agreed to reschedule. They showed up on the second appointment and provided me with a service quote and a proposed service date. I got back to them 2 days later confirming the service and was informed the previously proposed date was no longer available. They then proposed a new date in the morning which I agreed to it. 1 day before their schedule service date, they call asking to reschedule from morning to afternoon, which I also agreed to. Then on the date of service, they texted me 2 hours before their scheduled start time to attempt to reschedule for a different date. I let them know that I had made plans for the work to be done that day and that if not possible, then to cancel the whole thing. They weren't able to come out and the service was canceled at my request. A total of 3 weeks and a half went by with multiple service days agreed to and subsequently rescheduled on Pierce County Handyman's request. In the end, no work was done...

While that was an unwelcome surprise, I felt extremely fortunate that Corneliu was the one who discovered and ultimately fixed the problem. This issue was neglected by another contractor who had done siding work previously for me. Corneliu fixed everything the RIGHT WAY at a very fair price and worked as late as 7:30pm, long after the sun had gone down, to ensure everything was done before the next storm rolled in. I'll be hiring Corneliu for a bathroom remodel later this year and anything else that may come up!

We wanted a door installed in the interior of our home. Cornel arrived, measured the space, explained the different styles, asking what we'd like. Then he went to the hardware store himself, took photos of all of the options that fit our criteria, and texted us the options so we could choose, saving me time from having to go to the store myself. He also went above and beyond by offering to fix the opposite side of the door frame, which was ugly before the project started. We didn't even think it was an option to fix that. Cornel installed the door, painted it, and fixed the trim on both sides, on the same day. The final result is absolutely perfect. It's beautiful, and the quality is stellar. We will certainly be using Smart Construction again in the future for home projects that we can't do ourselves.
