Came here on Sunday after running a race in town. We were immediately sat in the dining room but were told that there was an event/concert starting. The dining area quickly became packed and loud with lots of families that were there for the event. It was frustrating to say the least and wish they sat us 4 in the bar area instead. Even though we were the first table to sit, a table of 8 got their food before us. I had heard plenty of great things prior to coming here but I don't think I'd go out of my way to come back again.

Lots of tvs and seating available inside and outside. The burger is good as well as the cheesesteak - mine was a little dry but probably because I got the sauce on the side (I don't do garlic). I didn't like the buffalo chicken dip because it was dry and the margarita pizza has pesto (fyi for nut allergies). I'd give it a try again.

AMAZING lobster roll. Full of flavor. I came here with no expectations and walked away blown away because the food was so good. I heard that they're known for their sliced steak dinner so next time I'm here I'll definitely try but the staff here is amazing. The owner treats you with the upmost respect he has a staff that treats you with respect and love as well. Can't wait to come back here. Next time I'm bringing my whole family. The ambience was cool and had a plethora of games on perfect spot to watch the games kickback with the family. Share a few laughs.

Just hosted a baby shower here and the Glen Rock Inn was the perfect place to host. They let us come in early to set up and were extremely helpful as we were setting up. The waitress Maggie was incredible and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were well taken care of. Food was delicious and there was plenty of room for decor, gifts, and games.

The reception space is warm and inviting. Especially liked the separate entrance and AV equipment.

Quaint pub located in Glen Rock, NJ. Simply good food and good service. Kathryn was our bartender and she too was amazing. We ordered salads to start, but based on how huge they were we stopped there. They were both delicious. Definitely will be back for more traditional pub grub next time.

Great restaurant in Glen Rock. Spacious dinning area. Lots tables and seats. They also have a bar area. I like their calamari, French onion soup and lobster roll. Excellent service. We had a great time!

We walked in right at opening hours of Saturday morning. Huge dining area, has a big bar too separate from dining hall. Popular with crowd to watch sports in the bar. Food is excellent here. We loved all their dishes we ordered. Calamari, cheesesteak, lobster roll, pizza, french onion soup all were delicious, large portions. Cheesesteak has lots of onion, peppers and cheese in it, with thin shredded beef. Lobsters roll comes with two sandwiches both spilling over with lobster meat. The service was good. Food comes out very quickly. Really great place for friends and family dine out.

Love places like this. A lot of places call themselves pubs or inns, but this is the real deal. The GRI is 76 years old and a cornerstone of the community. It's on the main business avenue with plenty of parking in back lots and on street. Cheers-like bar with plenty of TVs, and bartenders making great craft drinks as well as pouring a cold draft beer ( and plenty of good craft ones). The bar is THE place to be in this area as it does pack them in. Outside tables in good weather. Plenty of friendly, experienced staff. They are always checking in to see how you're doing. Food is classic pub. Brunch , lunch and dinner menus. I had one f their specials : -- Open Faced Steak Sandwich on toast, in a buttery sauce. Served with choice of: Yukon mashed potato, baked potato, sweet potato fries, French fries, or rice pilaf Executed perfectly and great mashed potatos. If you see reviews that the steak is tough then they don't know what this dish is (it's not a filet Mignon peeps, don't order it well done) Wings were plump & delish ( we had the teriyaki and buffalo) Huge bar pretzel was very good too. French onion soup was a heads above other-places we had it. You'll see beet & goat cheese salads everywhere these days. this one deserves to be on the menu. Baby arugula, apple, toasted almonds, and orange supreme. Served with sherry vinaigrette. Great! I can't wait to go back and chill in the bar AND try their fish & chips or famous burger. ( the other 2 pub institutional meals). If you haven't been ...GO!

I am not one to leave a bad review but there we so many issues with coming here for dinner. This was my first and definitely last time ever coming here. The restaurant looked beautiful and freshly renovated but yikes. From the moment we arrived the wait staff seemed overwhelmed or just not sure where to tell us to go to be seated. We were seated in the bar area which was fine, it was comfortable with plenty of TVs. After about 10-15 minutes we are sitting waiting for a menu or honestly anyone to notice us sitting there and waiting. I've never been seated at a table without a menu or told where we can access one virtually. It's now been about 25-30 minutes and a waitress comes up to ask us if we're ready to order. I tell her that we were not given any menus and have just been sitting here trying to flag someone down. She did not apologize for the delay but comes back with just a drink menu. And then we wait another 10 minutes for a food menu. Both of our drinks were incorrect. I ordered a glass of Riesling and my date ordered an IPA, when we told her they were both wrong she brought him the correct beer and didn't take away the wrong one. Our calamari was okay but nothing special, it honestly tasted like it was out of the freezer. The Reuben was absolutely terrible, the corned beef was chewy as if it was microwaved, the rye bread and fries were the best part of that dish. The shrimp was questionable in my dish, the spinach was 100% frozen, Sundried tomatoes were oily and had zero flavor. The pasta was extremely undercooked and chewy. Not to mention I asked our server if I was getting a salad or soup with my entree and to her response," oh I figured you ordered that with the original server". Like how would I have ordered, doesn't even make sense. Also not once did we get checked on after receiving our food, it took so long to receive it and we were starving unfortunately. Very sad experience, when asking for our check we had three different people come to us for the check, taking it, and running our card.

We ask if they have outdoor seating and they tell us they do, then they proceed to seat us in an area with windows and ceiling! And right next to a large and very loud Bridal shower (that would have been nice to know, we would have asked to be seated as far away as humanly possible.) Then we sit for 30 solid minutes without a peep from ANYONE. Then suddenly a confused looking young lady steps up and informs us "no one told her we were here." Guess that's OUR problem? Placed a drink order and another 20 minutes passes when I am informed it is no longer on tap. Drinks finally arrive, the "Craftsman IPA" is flat and "off" tasting. White wine was warm as if it was sitting in the sun. Food was not much better sadly. The Calamari was flavorless and tough - apparently someone forgot the Asian drizzle that was supposed to go on it. It was also that "fake" calamari where every piece is exactly the same size and shape. The "stuffed" meatballs were stuffed - with air! Literally nothing but a hole in the middle. The artichoke and crab dip had a strong fishy taste, it was so bad I feared it was tainted. To their credit they took it off the bill, eventually. And from the moment our drinks arrived earlier,, our server never once checked back on us for another drink, do we need anything, how is everything etc. Hey Craftsman - do better! Maybe some training in the kitchen and out on the floor is in order.

He was a big help in answering any question I had. Our party was roughly 25 people and we reserved the back room for the party. The back room was big enough for all of us to fit comfortably without it feeling cramped. We ordered the apps ahead of time and were told that they would be ready at 5:30. Sure enough, at 5:30 all of the apps came out and they were a big hit. Everything was fantastic. We got some large pizzas, nachos, mozzarella sticks, potstickers, and calamari. There was practically nothing left. The entree's were great and came without delay. I didn't hear a single complaint from any of the guests. I'd be remiss if I didn't talk about our waiter for the night, Alan. I don't think I've ever seen someone be so on top of things before. He handled the whole room essentially by himself and somehow it never seemed like there was a single hiccup the whole night. He was beyond excellent. He was such a good communicator and kept me in the loop with timelines and was overall very organized. He played a significant role in the night going as well as it did. Once you sit down you scan a QR Code to order your food and drinks. I was pretty hungry that day so we ended up ordering a ton of food. The drinks were pretty good and they were served in Le Creuset mugs. Not the biggest deal, but I can appreciate some nice drinkware. The bowl of Kimchi Fried rice came out first. It was a generous portion and the rice was cooked well, but I feel like it could've used some more kimchi. The eggs on top were cooked perfectly and added good texture to the dish. The next dish to come out was the HK French toast. The bread was nice and fluffy which paired well with a nice generous drizzle of condensed milk. I enjoyed this a lot. We also ordered scallion pancake, pork barbecue, and bossam baos. These were ok, I would probably pass on a return visit. I felt like the meat in the baos was a little tough though they did have decent flavor. The last entree was the smoked salmon and avocado croissant; I really enjoyed this. It had a generous helping of smoked salmon and avocado as well. The saltiness of the salmon paired well with the creamy and fatty avocado. The croissant was also nice and flaky. It was also served with a house salad which had a nice drizzle of dressing on it too. For dessert we ordered a Black Sesame Souffle Pancake. This was SO good. A few months ago I visited a place in Princeton that specialized in these Japanese-style pancakes and Tasty Junction's version was so much more enjoyable. I loved that it was served with a healthy scoop of ice cream. The pancake was airy and had a bounce to it. Each bite was so good and made even better with the ice cream. I'd definitely come back just for the pancakes. All in all Tasty Junction is a great spot tucked away in Glen Rock
