The service was very good but the food was lack luster at best.....I was expecting more since this restaurant was recommended to me with rave reviews by two people. We ordered an appetizer to share and as the cook if you know the watermelon has no flavor....please don't serve it (it was awful), I also think the grade of prosciutto was rather low grade. The other person in my party did like her entree which was pasta with mussels. I selected the panini and which was yet another disappointment. The panini bread was so overcooked upon taking my first bite I had to check to make sure my front teeth were still in my mouth...and in general it just lacked any hint of flavor. The waiter was nice enough to offer to bring me a different entree but at this point I was pretty much over the Goat. The manager did come and apologize (which was greatly appreciated) and also removed my panini from the bill. I was offered a free dessert I selected the crème brûlée and it was perfectly prepared and tasty. The restaurant is cozy inside and has a lovely bar area to sit and eat. Huge windows (all the blinds were down, I like the feel of the sunlight when I am out for a meal.....I am sure we could have had the shades opened if we asked).

My wife and I tried this spot for Valentine's Day. They had a Prefix Menu for $68++ per person, minus the drinks. Sounded like a good deal, right? Especially, since this restaurant is part of the David Burke group. It should be good. We started with our appetizers. My wife originally wanted the Lobster Bisque Soup. But they ran out of that. They only had Mushroom Bisque or some other cream soup as a replacement. So, I had the Mushroom Bisque Souphile, while she had the Beet and Buratta Salad. They were very good. When it came to the main courses, I had the Pork Osso Buccon with Risotto (in Tagalog, Pinasosyal na Patatim ). My wife ordered the Lobster Ravioli. While my portions were generous, hers were disappointing. Five small pieces. Hardly satisfying, especially for someone who skipped lunch and was looking forward to a hearty meal for dinner. You would think that because you were paying the same price, both meals would have good portions. It wasn't the case here. Luckily, my meal was large enough for me to share. But, our mood was already in the downhill. BTW, the browning of my dish was uneven. On One side, you have a nice dark brown color and it was slightly crispy. On the other side, it was pale and soggy. Desserts took longer to come out than our meal, which was very strange. The place wasn't fully packed. When they did arrive, they were a letdown. My Coconut Cream Pie was fine. Nothing too special. However, the sugars of my wife's creme brulee was burnt to the point where it made the whole dessert bitter. We brought it up to their attention. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They said they would replace it in two minutes. So, we waited. Unfortunately, the replacement was a failure, too. The top sugar was on point, but the actual custard was very runny. My wife just finished it as we wanted to leave right away. The manager apologized and gave us a free slice of key lime pie as a good gesture. If it weren't for the staff, this place would have gotten a two-star for its inconsistency. Would probably not go back.

The decoration/design of this place is so playful I love it. At every turn you see a goat, and the wallpaper, I want it in my bathroom ASAP! We came during restaurant week so we got a three course meal at a set price. We enjoyed everything that came out. The meatballs were so tender and the garlic knots had a nice chew to them. I didn't get to try the pasta dishes but the people who had them really liked their meal. We all decided that the branzino was the favorite of the night with all the sauces and sides it came with. I got the steak that was a bit too rare but was rather surprised by the sides of my meal. I couldn't figure out what the side vegetable was but it had a hint of sweetness that I enjoyed. My mouse cake was the perfect way to end the meal - light and chocolatey. Our server was funny and very nice but we did have a few mix ups. We opted for tap water and mid way through he gave us spring water and was charged twice for it. I also changed my cook on my steak and it was not done to the correct wellness. Looking forward to coming back with friends so they can experience the decorations here. I want to come and try their bingo nights on Wednesday too.

Nicely renovated interior from the previous restaurant, Piero's, and delicious key lime pie but these were the only things I found great here. Last minute reservations were no problem to get on a Sunday night. Me and a friend arrived around 5:30 pm and there were only a couple of tables seated. Although the restaurant was empty, and it never actually filled up, we were seated directly next to the entrance at a small table for two. I would have preferred a larger table away from the entrance but just figured maybe they were going to get busy. The hostess stood awkwardly nearby with the menus waiting for me and my friend to be seated. My friend had a jacket she needed to take off and let her know that she needed a minute if she wanted to put the menu down but she just stood there holding the menu. We were seated for quite a bit and had more than enough time to decide what we wanted to order before our waitress approached our table, despite how empty the restaurant was. She greeted us, took our preference for water and returned 10 minutes later. At this point we were probably seated for 20 minutes and were more than ready to order something. We started with cocktails. My friend noticed the menu said they had daily cocktail specials. She inquired about the specials but decided to stick with wine while I ordered the special. We also let her know we were ready to place our order for apps and dinner at the same time. If there were any food specials I have no idea because we didn't ask and none were offered. Another ten minutes or so passed and we got our drink order, only my friends order was wrong. Our waitress brought out two of the specials. When we mentioned to our waitress this wasn't what she ordered she proceeded to insist that my friend ordered that because she asked what the specials were. After a few minutes of back and forth she reluctantly took the drink back and brought out her wine. Our apps arrived fairly fast. We ordered the polenta fries and hipster mozzarella. The polenta fries were good, the hipster mozzarella was cold. Our meals arrived shortly after and our waitress stood there with our dishes as we moved around the app plates to make room. We had a very small two person table and she never offered to clear the plates for the apps or the actual apps. We made room for ourselves piling up dishes. I guess she realized her mistake shortly after and came to take away the apps. She never once asked why we barely touched the mozzarella. Our dinner also arrived cold and the presentation, especially for my friends skirt steak was really sloppy (especially for the price). My ravioli was cold and the edges were hard. The pesto was overly oily and it was just far too much on top. I ended up brushing off a lot of the pesto and oil and eating half the dish. Again, our waitress never inquired how our dishes were or why they were half full still. The one saving grace here was dessert. Our key lime pie was delicious. We also ordered cappuccino but it came out after we had finished the pie and it tasted watered down. It was also extremely hot, like abnormally hot. For two apps, two drinks, two entrees, one dessert and two cappuccinos we spent close $100 pp with tip. This was one extremely disappointing meal with service to match. We noticed the manager walking around to other couple of tables but never once stopped by our table to see how things were. Save your money and time and head elsewhere.

Service was amazing head bartender knows his drinks. I had a delicious dirty martini sat at the bar before dinner. We did the prefix dinner appetizers, main mail, and dessert. Everything was delicious. Food came out hot. Everything was tasty. My steak was cooked exactly the way I wanted it asked for the ambience it was decent Tables are a little close, but we were there early so it didn't matter.

I was so excited to be invited to try this restaurant. I have been to one of his restaurants before, and I knew this was going to be an experience! Reservations were for 7 pm, and when I arrived, I parked in their lot. I walked in and was greeted by the manager, and he was so nice! The restaurant was super cute and gave us the absolute goat theme and experience! Chris was our server along with Amanda, who was in training. Chris was absolutely awesome from his service to his knowledge. Amanda was super pleasant and helped so much! For my drink, I got the vodka martini, and my boyfriend got the lemoncello martini. My martini was very good. For appetizers, I got the chicken dumpling soup, and my boyfriend got the bacon. The soup was soooo good! For our entrées I got the shrimp and scallop scampi, and my boyfriend got the short rib with some sides. The plates looked delicious! I enjoyed the shrimp. The scallops were just ok. I really enjoyed the mac and cheese the most out of the mashed potatoes, that and the spinach and mushrooms. My boyfriend loved the short rib! Now it was time for dessert, and I got the dessert of the day, the keylime pie, and I was in heaven! It was delicious! My boyfriend got the fudge mousse cake, and it too was tasty! We absolutely enjoyed our time and would go back! Thank you for this experience!

What an awesome find! This place was delicious!! I came here with my family on a Friday night and we did their strip night $36 menu that is only on Fridays starting at 4pm. The menu included a salad , 12 Oz strip steak , fries and a glass of wine or local draft beer for the price . I must say that everything was excellent! We ordered two appetizers to share (not part of the Friday special) , one was their famous clothesline bacon and the other was their oysters. Both were incredible. Lastly we got some dessert to share which included their popular the goat chocolate mousse cake and their black and white cookie sundae- all was amazing! Honestly I'm so impressed , I will be back !! I've seen their events page and I will be joining in for an event real soon , they have some cool stuff !

I chose this restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. We made a reservation, which I highly recommend because it was PACKED when we left. We shared the 'Clothesline Bacon' to start, which was maple black pepper glazed and absolutely DELICIOUS! I don't remember the name of the entree my husband got but it was pork chop with potatoes. He really enjoyed it. It was very thick cut and he loved the whole meal. I got the 'Paper bag Lasagna' which was layers of beef & ricotta, wrapped in herbed pastry crisp. It was very a unique dish overall and very tasty and both meals were great portions. We ended with the 'DB'S CHEESECAKE LOLLIPOP TREE FOR TWO' was chocolate tuxedo, cherry pistachio, toffee crunch, bubblegum whipped cream, cotton candy. 5 stars for the Cotton Candy... but I really did not enjoy the rest. There was not enough cheesecake for me and the shells were too hard so my husband ate the cake pops and I ate the cotton candy. He loved it and since it's his birthday... that's all that counts! The service was WONDERFUL! Everyone wished my husband a happy birthday from the hostess to the server, to bringing out the cheesecake lollipop tree with a candle on it. I could understand the server knowing his birthday (I noted it on OpenTable when I reserved) but when we left, the hostess STILL say happy birthday. I couldn't believe they even remembered. Our server was also great. He was BUSY but still made time to tell us all the specials, chat with us about other topics we mentioned and we never felt rushed. David Burke's food is always good. This is my 2nd time at one of his restaurants (the other was in NY). I would definitely recommend and come back.

This was a great spot with delicious food! We went with a group of friends for a quick dinner before a nearby event. We were seated quickly and served promptly. The food was really great. I loved the octopus, which was well made and tender. The pork chop was also tender and juicy, and was easy to cut through. The side dishes were fairly good, especially the brussel sprouts, and we ended up sharing them because they were a generous portion. Overall, this is a nice spot with good food that I wouldn't mind revisiting.

What's going on at the Goat? Having dined at orchard park and red horse, we wanted to try the OG. We made this reservation two months in advance to celebrate a friend's birthday. We expected fine dining and wine. We were very disappointed. The wine list was bare- most bottles were out of stock. What was left was not worthy of the expected experience. Several dishes had already been removed from the menu, but the filet mignons (that half of the table ordered)- surprise, not available. The server was 100% more invested in our experience than the manager. He tried his best to make sure we enjoyed everything, but unfortunately, they didn't meet our expectations. for a fine dining experience. The entree was the best part which was the lobster orichetta. Hope David Bourke invests his time and energy in all his places.

The wife and I enjoyed a Valentines dinner. The service was excellent, though our waiter's accent was a slight challenge. My shrimp and scallops were good, the shrimp a tad overcooked. My wife enjoyed her filet with potatoes and carrots, but not the gravy. The salad was excellent as was the focaccia. We ordered the dessert but ended up taking it home because we were both satiated.

Hubby ordered jambalaya -- both dishes were served luke warm and looked as though they had been sitting. French fries were all tiny pieces as if they were at the bottom of the fryer. The steak was a poor cut. The jambalaya lacked flavor. The protein on the dish was all overcooked. Dessert THE Elvis -- sounded sooo delicious but was basically a spoonful of peanut butter. Even the ice cream they served with it could not drown out the overpowering peanut butter flavor. I did enjoy the cappuccino. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday and he didn't even eat his meal. It was that bad. Sadly, one and done for us. I know they changed their menu so perhaps this is not their best lineup but I cannot forgive the terrible presentation. The price point for what they are presenting its insane.
