We had a horrible experience at another school in the area, so we visited some schools/daycare in the area and this was the one that we liked the most. This is not the cheapest nor the more expensive and everything is clean and new since they opened this location recently, so you won't see nasty carpets in their classrooms. My kids are in the 3-years old class and their teacher Miss Manjeline is very nice and sweet, also, the Director and her assistant are nice, too. Actually, all the staff who works there are nice people, they always receive me with a smile. One of my kids was fully potty trained when they started school but the other one was still having accidents, actually the bad experience we had at the other school was related to his toilet accidents, which also caused that he didn't want to use the potty outside our home, but here at Briarcliff Daycare he had just a couple of accidents and that's all, he gained confidence and also, he is now using the potty everywhere. I can't say he is 100% potty trained, but with their teacher's help and patience I can say now we are in the right track and I am very thankful for that. This daycare is also regulated by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning, which is excellent and they are monitoring the schools frequently. This is a great pleace for our kids to learn and play while we are working and I fully recommend it.

I enrolled because I was in a bind and needed childcare quickly, but there were red flags from the beginning. When I first called, I was told they had a spot, only to be called back while I was on my way to tour and told they didn't. Two days later, I called again as a prospective parent and was told they did have a spot for a 9-month-old. That was my first red flag. The infant room was dull and lacked stimulation, toys were reportedly cleaned only once a week, infants received no snacks, and they had no outdoor time. Most concerning, my daughter was frequently picked up red-faced and exhausted from crying. One day, I found her sitting next to a teacher, bawling and reaching to be held, while the teacher sat there emotionless and did nothing to comfort her. As a mother, that was heartbreaking to witness. There were also cleanliness and illness concerns. One day the daycare smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals, with a mop bucket directly outside the infant room. Another morning, 9 babies were crammed into the tiny room, many crying and screaming. I also saw visibly sick children with extremely runny noses. My daughter, who had never been sick before attending, became sick shortly afterward and passed it to me. The bottle situation was another major issue. They don't allow glass bottles, which I understand, but I offered multiple alternatives because I was uncomfortable with my baby's milk being heated in plastic. I provided silicone sleeves for her glass bottles and eventually purchased shatterproof glass bottles completely covered in silicone. Rather than working with me on a solution, I was told she could not return unless she had plastic bottles. They also did not consistently ensure she finished her milk or refrigerate leftover milk. Communication was difficult because her teacher did not speak English, making it challenging to communicate my daughter's routine, preferences, and needs. There is also a $300 deposit that is refundable only with two weeks' notice, in addition to a $150 registration fee. I ultimately lost my deposit because I couldn't bring myself to keep my daughter there another week. That cost was worth it for my daughter's well-being. What also stood out to me was how little concern they showed when I informed them I was unenrolling my daughter. The response was simply "OK!" There was no concern and no acknowledgment of my daughter's departure. Overall, my experience felt very transactional. I did not feel my daughter was receiving the warmth, empathy, attentiveness, and individualized care I expect from a daycare. I know everyone's experience is different, and based on the other reviews, I may be in the minority. But as a mom, you know your child, and you know when something doesn't feel right. This place simply wasn't a good fit for my daughter, and I'm glad I trusted my instincts and pulled her out.

My grandsons attended this school and I thought it would be great for them, my oldest is four and…read morehe was in my opinion bullied by the four women in the office, none of them have ANY children of their on btw, he was sent to the office for random things that normal little boys do, made him feel belittled and insecure, he was having breakdowns in the office knowing he was going to be sent home, he was saying he didn't want to be bad, he wanted to stay, they even called once because a cup of his was accidentally thrown in the trash can, the teachers seemed concerned enough over the office staff that they exchanged personal phone numbers with my daughter in law, my daughter in law was being called nearly daily with total nonsense from these women, after about a month of this insanity my daughter in law was crying on a daily basis from these women continued stress, we checked with a Christian school nearby and he has been there about four months and has had zero issues, absolutely nothing, we found out these women are partial to female students and any male student that acts like a male is put into a very bad category, we also found out that several female students left because their mothers saw how things are ran there even though their children was not discriminated against, they are now at the same Christian school, one of the mothers is very intelligent and in the medical profession, so she has plenty of common sense so she figured things out rather quickly, the teachers were nice but they go through them quickly, the teachers also do not care for these women in the office, several were kind enough to let us know it wasn't my grandson but the other way around, my grandson went through thousands of dollars worth of testing by professionals to tell us his IQ was over 135, and he was very distracted, so the Doctor suggested it is even higher than that, how disappointing to know these people that run the show are in charge of taking tiny children's self esteem away and make them feel inferior, crying all the time, saying people don't like him, he's four years old, no child of any age should have to go through this, male or female, save yourself some time and your child's feelings and enroll them somewhere else, these babies are precious and deserve better...

Everyone is very nurturing, caring, and warm. The teachers and staff are like family to us. My girls were so well prepared for kindergarten and have such a good foundation for their future education. The entire staff came together during the COVID-19 pandemic and set up a virtual pod for elementary school aged students. It was a godsend for our daughter and for us. She was able to be in a school setting and have some normalcy related to school despite COVID. She also developed some incredible friendships during that time. The other parents and families are wonderful and very down to earth . I feel so fortunate that we were able to be a part of the DP community for over 4 years. I miss it!

My son attended when he was 2 till he turned 3. I am so thankful that we got to experience this daycare and all the wonderful staff members. The center is busy but never chaotic. All the kids are always in a state of ease because the teachers are ALWAYS at ease. My son started off in Miss. Jocelyn's class. She is warm and experienced and loves kids and the kids love her! This was not daycare, it was more like my son's second home. My son would tell me daily as soon as we got home "I wanna go school. I wanna see Miss. Jocelyn." As a matter of fact (this is just one instance) a kid tried to drown me on a field trip and the teachers unanimously decided I was lying. A kid showed me his nether region--they told me I was lying. I told them they didn't give me any orange slices during snack time when everybody else had them--they said I was lying. If I ever see Ms. Kim or Ms. Tan there will be problems.
