Got pizza from this place in Joliet. It happens to be one of the many choices for it around here. Niko's has a few other things to choose from as well. Bad thing is prices are kind of high for the portions. They have a few money saving pizza specials. Called and ordered a pizza to go. It's a cramped interior with a counter, and cooler to get liters of pop. There's a big menu with all the choices for pizzas, as well as the salads and sandwiches. A variety of toppings to choose from. They have specials at certain times. It's about $20 for a medium. That's a lot but you get a lot on these. Check out the Facebook page before ordering. We got a medium of the Vegetarian Special. Something good about it at least. This comes with black olives, green peppers, jalapeños, mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes. SLOWEST PLACE EVER!! I had to wait so long for my food for it to end up not even being good.

$45 for an 18 inch with 3 toppings is steep considering the lack in quality and cheap ingredients. The pie tastes similar to my first failed home made attempts at making a pizza. Gave them a 3 because the staff was nice. Pizza is a No Go! Pizza mia in New Lenox is cheaper and Faaaaaaaar surpasses in quality which puzzles me. To Niko's Pizzeria I say please focus on changing your recipe to include better ingredients. One of our favorite fast food places. Everyone is always in a good mood. Food is always hot, even after driving back an hour to the city. They have great deals. Meat lover fries are our favorite, we get them with no shrimp extra jalapeños. They're always a hit. We also got buffalo wings, which have a sweet hint to them and they're not too spicy or vinegary. Pizza SLAPS. We got a two topping with mushrooms and jalapeños. Would definitely recommend if you're in the burbs. read more

This place never disappoints. I have been here many times, and I am always satisfied which isn't something I can say for every restaurant. They have really large portions and everything is reasonable priced in my opinion. The menu isn't small by any means, so you'll have a variety of foods to pick from. Some of my favorite things on the menu are the Caesar salad, which you can get with shrimp or chicken, and the chicken Caesar wrap! The croutons they use on the salad and in the wrap are AMAZING! Stopped eating after two bites and seeing that. The chicken caesar wrap was okay. The fries were soggy and not good. For both orders to be delivered (only 5 minutes), this cost $35. Ugh. I wanted to like it. Came in at 230 in the middle of the week and wanted to order a slice. After the girl working the front ignored me for a couple of minutes I gave up. Primarily because it is dirty inside. I could see a guy making the pizzas - no gloves on using his cell phone to text them, then he put it away, touched his nose, then his hands went right into the cheese to spread on a pizza. If the owner isn't down with lackluster unsanitary behavior he should get cameras on the work station, ban cell use while in the workstation and make them wear gloves - then spot check with cameras. read more

If I could rate this ZERO stars, I would. Ordered $60 worth of food to be delivered to a hotel we are staying at. Food came an hour and 24 minutes later. We ordered a pizza, which was completely hard, a BLT which was moldy and completely soggy, (how do you even screw up a BLT) and a 2-cheeseburger combo that was supposed to have bacon, cheese and lettuce on it. The burgers had cheese and wilted lettuce ONLY. They were cold and the fries were soggy. I called to complain and the gentleman on the phone said he apologized and for me to come in and get a cash refund for my food. 30 minutes later, I received a text message saying they weren't going to refund my money because one of the items that we received is a "top seller." I placed an order and it was accepted well before they stopped talking orders for their Thanksgiving dinner. 3 pm pickup time was agreed upon. my husband arrived at 3pm to pick up our dinner and was told it would not be ready until 4;30 and that they would call us. Never received a call and repeated calls and emails went unanswered. Had to throw together dinner on my own. I have nevermind eaten here (not will I ever now/) based on recommendations from a local FB page. Extremely poor customer service. Do not recommend. read more

My first Greek Chicken Special of the year! Since I work in the downtown Joliet-area I've been a fan of Niko's takeout convenience for the past 5 years. My office has catered pizza & pasta dishes from this eatery over the years plus it's an easy quick lunch on busy work days. The food is above average, for the takeout-type establishments, plus the staff is always friendly. Today I happened to check the Niko Facebook page and noticed the Greek Chicken Special. I don't recall ever sampling this dish and now I'm sorry to have missed this tasty dish. The Greek Special is a lot of bang-for-the-buck given it includes a half chicken & 2 sides for only $8. Now whenever I catch the Greek Chicken Special on the FB page I'll be making a special trip just to enjoy the authentic lemony goodness that Niko's recipe offers. read more

Decent food. Wait time was kind of long. So many unique burgers out options. Really enjoyed the Double cheeseburger.

Not sanitary. Not very professional. I came in for lunch on a Saturday and they had the all the doors open. The front and back. Flies were flying all around, the employees were hot and sweating. One had a towel around his shoulders he would use to wipe his head with. I ordered a pizza and waited there for it. As I waited, I continued to watch the prepare the food. None of them had gloves on. The one making the pizza continued to text on his phone, touch his towel and wipe himself and then continued to put his hand on all the food. Back and forth between the towel, phone and toppings. Not once did he wash his hands. The entire place didn't look clean or up to the standards any restaurant should be. Before my pizza was done I asked for a refund and explained I did not feel comfortable eating your food after watching him make it. They refused to give it to me at first but did after continuing to ask. read more

Long post alert... My nephew went to Nikko's Pizzeria on Wednesday. When he got home the pizza was wrong...couldn't eat it at all. If y'all know my nephew he's basically a pescatarian, and we don't eat pork. It was late I called the man said call tomorrow cause I'm walking out the door we will replace it. Now maybe my nephew didn't know pepperoni came on the pizza... customer error MAYBE, could've been a misunderstanding by the employee who took the order...BUT business 101 tells you the customer is ALWAYS right, right. Fast fwd I call for him to get his pizza replaced and BEFORE I could even get my words out Nikko was SNAPPING ON ME... I went in... He said I'll replace it come on in. We still had the pizza I said he can even bring it with him. He said no no no. So we order again deluxe with NO MEAT. Nephew goes to pick it up. Takes it to the car takes a bite...what does he bite... SAUSAGE. Now I done told them no pork at all no meat PERIOD. He takes it right back in they replaced it no problem, at this point Nikko is PISSED. So, this pizza appears to be right... eating the pizza everything all good. My husband gets 1 piece in the middle of the pizza and he's eating with a fork just in case. Right in the middle of him eating, what does he find SAUSAGE. At this point I feel like his employees did that on purpose. My nephews pissed, my husband's pissed. My husband calls cause he just wanted to inform NIKKO of the incompetent employees. BEFORE my husband can even say anything NIKKO SNAPPED. "IM OUT OF 3 PIZZAS, YALL NOT GETTING ANYTHING ELSE." Like seriously 1st time it could've been customer error but the next 2 times was EMPLOYEE ERROR. U should be yelling at your staff...ensuring this doesn't happen again. My husband said at this point we wouldn't want a pizza we just wanted you to know matter of fact I'm bringing my plate down so you can see this...we don't eat pork, and if he does he could potentially get sick(I know ppl really don't get it). I have Drs paperwork to prove this as an allergy...and I told you that we couldn't eat pork when I called the first time. Now Nikko's food is usually really good BUT THAT TOOK THE CAKE AND BUSINESS. TODAY my husband bought the kids pizza from @cemenos since they couldn't eat Nikkos yesterday. I pick up the pizza, and they put the wrong sauce. It wasn't a big deal...I was tired I was just gonna take it and leave. But the manager must've took Business 101 cause they said ma'am were already remaking and have upgraded it free of charge. I ordered Alfredo yesterday first time ordering from this restaurant. it was good so decided to order again today for family and try other items on menu I ordered wings with mild sauce with lemon pepper and was given hot wings instead . It was shocking to me because they took the order perfectly and repeated it back twice and I still got the wrong order called to let them know just to inform them of the mistake because I liked the food and didn't want the mistake to happen again and the person was nice when ordering and when telling the mistake the person kept telling me that's not what you said I was like why would I say the opposite of what I wanted and you repeated it twice and he was like ok that's what you said that's it I said that's ok i normally check my food but I got it delivered so just got something I didn't order because employee made a mistake and didn't want to admit it . I had them cater my son's birthday party. Menu choices are plentiful, it was a nice change of pace from just pizzas or the standard beef, chicken, and mostaccioli. My order consisted of chicken tenders, fries, and wraps. Price was reasonable. Food was delicious. Yeah, I'm just gonna go ahead and say it- I'm over Niko's totally. Last two times I've ordered a slice of cheese pizza for lunch for delivery there has been sausage on my pizza. First time I cut them some slack; I didn't even call back to complain. I just cut about half of my giant slice of pizza off and threw it in the garbage, unable to eat it. The last time I called to order I mentioned what happened the previous time in order to help the lady on the phone visualize the importance of me receiving what I paid for. Small place with only high counter seating. Prices were pretty cheap as my 14" inch thin crust with sausage was $12.99. While waiting, I became overwhelmed by the many pictures of items that they carry and boy, they carry more than just pizza. The crust texture was my favorite part of the pie. The crust ends had that twisty design and had a pleasant soft and chewiness to it. Overall, a great pizza, especially for the price!
